I recently stayed there and not even for the entire night. First I had made reservations for a non smoking room. When I arrived I was told they were then sold out even though I had reserved a room. After driving 4 hrs to get there I decided to take the smoking room. It has a nasty odor and the noise was even worse. You couldn't even take a descent shower or flush the toilet because of no water pressure. Last but not least several times I had individuals come up to looking to purchase drugs. I us... Read more

Good price. Comfortable King size bed. Very nice TV and reception. Great lighting. Offered free Wifi with code. Wasn't sure how to connect and called the number and assistance available immediately, very helpful. Staff was super friendly! They even called to make sure everything was OK with our room once we got settled. Pet friendly, always a plus for us. Location not too far away from the beach, worth the drive. Very secure lighting. Recommended location.

I didn't expect the Hilton. Motel 6 is a low cost hotel without the frills. I do expect a clean room. Spider with web, long black hair in floor next to it. Nuts at the headboard along with something spilled on floor and about a foot up the wall--to the point it was molded. Another long hair I found on sheet the next morning. Also hair on bathtub wall--didn't see until next morning. Never again

We are not picky about hotels. If they are clean and safe, we are fine. This however, was the WORST experience ever!! Room smelled AWFUL, DIRTY tub, hair was clogging drain, USED soap, with the open package in the shower, sticky floors..had to use towels on floor to walk on..Smoke detector kept going off. Maint. man came in, took the battery out, threw it in the trash and said, "that should hold you for the night". Luckily, I have it on video. Reporting for FIRE CODE violation!!!!! Would not gi... The room was quite small, no frig/micro so better bring your cooler. The king size bed was quite sturdy. A few maintenance issues in the room. The exterior of the motel was pretty busy even though its tucked in a quiet area. Staff was friendly, lots of surveillance or security going on over there for whatever reasons.

We stayed for two nights at the Motel 6 in Virginia Beach, we thought we price was a bit much at $113 a night for a Motel 6. We figured well its the beach in July, actually the place is 6 miles from the beach. The room we was fine, we had a king bed room, it was clean, and could have used a chair, for two people there was only one chair, so if you eat in your room someone has to sit on the bed....just a thought. Our only real issue was at the pool, it was very cloudy, needed to be skimmed (lots ... Read more

This place sucks. It smells like bleach. It is nasty. It also has bugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! It is cheap, it's in the ghetto and smells horrible. I hate this place. It's nothing but hood rats. I would not recommend this place to the worst of my enemies

This place is a dump from the pissy smell of the rooms to the warped floors. I still don't know what the smell is that was coming out of the A/c unit and the area is hanky as hell. I honestly would have done better sleeping in my car and taking sink bath at Denny's. DO not stay here I repeat just keep driving or stay in the rest area. The only one good thing was that clerk, she was kind and helpful but nothing else about this place says comfort.

Got in late, and nice places were booked. This place was close and cheap, but price was commensurate with quality. Room filthy. Floor crackled as you walked bc it had not been wiped (not even carpet). Mold in bathrook. Disrepair. Run away. See pix. Wrong toilet seat. MOLD. Wifi SLOW. Less than 256K.

I loved it! From the moment I arrived I felt like I was at a high-class Hotel. The front desk clerk Therese was fabulous. She handled things like a pro. She was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff at this Motel are equal to any five-star hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were Immaculate. The cleaning staff took pride in keeping those rooms in Tip-Top shape. Everyone that I met there was fabulous. Perhaps my only minimal complaint is the lawn was not cut and manicured well. Howeve... Read more
