Room met our needs for graduation weekend. It was clean, comfortable and had amenities lik microwave and refrigerator. Staff was friendly, price was on point. Breakfast is basic, a plus if you just need a small bite.

We booked this hotel because it was near the cemetery that we needed to be at. I have learned a lot from Hotel Impossible and I did my own inspection of the room and the front curb appeal. The entrance had beautiful flowers, but the benches were awful and the smell of cigarettes when you get to the door is nauseating. We got to the hotel earlier then expected driving from Florida. We took the chance to see if they would let us check in early, especially how exhausted we were. The front desk cle... Read more

We spend 2 nights a week @ this hotel, & the staff is familiar with us. I made our reservation online the night before, but because we didn't get there by 6 pm our reservation was cancelled. The staff found an open room to put us in, but it was a handicap room that wasn't used a lot. So we were missing the pillows, & a cpl other things, but the staff was very helpful & assisted us the best they could. We'll be back this Friday night.

The hotel looks and could use some renovations. When I arrived on the premise, my room keys did not work. I switched keys 3 times and finally they just had to give me a new room. The bed had several hairs on them. The staff was nice, however, the other guests were very loud which I know is out of the hotels hands. There were people smacking on the doors, running and yelling down the hallway despite people asking them to quiet down.

We almost always stay at the Oyster Point Days Inn in Newport News, VA. Not only are the rooms clean and some of the best rates around, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. A couple of them remember us from other stays.

The room was clean. The hotel was very nice. Some one was always there to greet us at the desk and help immediately with anything we needed. Everyone was very friendly. We would stay here again.

There wasn't a flat sheet on either of the beds! This shouldn't happen. The bathtub looked like it could have been cleaner also. W Everything else was clean. Otherwise, staff was nice and check in and check out was easy.

This was a last-minute stay as the original reservation I had at another hotel was cancelled. I made the reservation through Hotels.com and was given a a Smoking room. I can say they do a good job of cleaning as when I walked in, I didn't smell anything. The room was decent but they had phone issues as the phone did not work. Staff was very friendly and met one of the managers while checking out the next day. Very friendly.

Over all good hotel for the price My only complaint is that at 9 am they pull breakfast even if the guests are still eating and if they are out of something food or utensils if it's close to 9 you don't get it

That was a strange experience: Wyndham App booked a smoking room without asking, hotel's e-mail didn't work, on the phone at the hotel they said that the room was yet "assigned", smell was very strong, our things are all badly smell... Wifi password had been changed and only in the morning at the reception they managed to find an actual one, Internet was very slow, at breakfast the coffee was cold, waffle-maker and toaster didn't work... And price increased a little bit from booking to card stat... Read more

My hotel stay was horrible. My medicine was ruined in the refrigerator because it was broken. I couldn't take my insulin. Then when I switched rooms, my toilet was broken for the entire night. No one came to fix it after I called.

I reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights to stay 4th of July weekend. This was the cheapest place I could find to take a group of high school graduates on a trip. Even though the cost was low there is no way this hotel should have beed this bad. First they took my money. I had 3 rooms booked and the morning of our check in date they took the cost of one nights stay plus tax ? 3. When I saw this I immediately called because I thought they were canceling my rooms, the front desk girl said that was just an... Read more

Near, but not in, a revitalized part of the city. Just far enough outside of it that the location doesn't feel safe. Questionable characters hanging around the parking lot and just outside of the front entrance, making my daughter and I feel uncomfortable. The hotel was dirty, dated, and not well lit. The free breakfast was really poor, and what little milk there was in a thermos was warm. Supplies ran out quickly an hour after opening. The pool area was unkempt. The workout room was hot like an... Read more

No problems at all with cleanliness of rooms. I had read reviews that made me wonder about staying but I found they weren't as accurate. My stay here was very good but the breakfast wasn't as good as other Days Inn that I have stayed in the past. Internet was kinda crappy also.

Room was clean. Staff was nice but didn't go out of way to help people. Several people in my group had trouble getting there card keys to work on their doors and it happened consistently. When it happened to one guy 4 times, they should have thrown in a room upgrade or something.

We only stayed for 1 night and even though its an older hotel, the smell in the room was still terrible and there appeared to be mold or something that looked like in the air cond unit and bathroom. The carpet felt very damp as did the room.
