I attended a conference here and the hotel spoiled me with all the little luxuries. The rooms are beautiful, the food was great and overall I felt pampered and relaxed. The conference was great and the meeting space was very nice. I love that you can just walk over to the Galleria mall and do a few laps (the shopping is too pricey for this shopper) of walking.

We love the Ritz in Tysons Corner. It is stunning. The staff is amazing, the rooms exactly what you would expect from the Ritz, and the food amazing. There is also a great bar. This Ritz is right next to a large indoor shopping center that has wonderful restaurants and stores. This hotel has become something like a home-away-from-home for my family who visits the area regularly. It is in a great location (accessible but not too central), has lovely rooms, and has wonderful staff who often remember us and are always seeking to meet our needs. I never want to leave.

We stayed at this location couple weeks ago. I have high expectations when it comes to the Ritz and this why we choose to stay at one almost in all our travel plans, BUT this one fell way behind and below. This 20+ year old Ritz Carlton property needs not only a remodeling makeover, but an upgrade to vigor with which it's cleaned and maintained on day-to-day basis. I staid here two nights for an onsite conference. The hotel is connected a large, high-end shopping center. That made it a little difficult for the taxi driver to find the hotel entrance, but once he did the bellmen were helpful and attentive. You go up to the 4th floor for registration/check-in. Stayed here with my wife this past May. I whisked her away for three nights to a new location for her birthday. I imagine most people come to this hotel for either business or, more likely, to shop. The hotel is attached to the Tysons Galleria and within walking distance to Tysons Corner Center. The hotel is literally in the Galleria, so you can walk out of the front door and you are in the galleria, and the more reasonable (financially) Tysons Corner Center is three blocks away, and the Ritz offers free shuttle service. It is classic luxury and service that gives this hotel good service. The staff were amazing although I had issue with the decor (it is a bit dated). Guests pay for parking but there is a shuttle service to Tyson's 1.

We decided to begin our vacation to Virginia with a splurge, and stayed in a business executive suite on an upper floor. Very roomy, quiet, luxe, and private. I will in DC, but the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner is like a second home. The staff is courteous, helpful and efficient. Shima and the other Club Level attendants treat every guest as they've known them forever. Being attached to Tysons II makes this a great stay-cation hotel for those wanting escape from the iIstrict close to home.

It is connected to Tyson's Corner and shops and restaurants are easily accessible. We did not have any reservation at one of the restaurants in the mall on a busy Friday evening but were seated right away when I told the hostess I was staying at Ritz.

My family had a great time at this hotel.We stayed in the executive sweet and found it to be nice and clean.The staff went above and beyond for us . Special thanks to Shima,Carla,Wanda and Wassim .We wanted to stay outside the city and this hotel worked out perfectly.Thanks again the French family.

We returned to this property as it is conveniently located and we needed to run to DC for a quick weekend. The rooms are a bit average compared to other places we have stayed. The free water in room replenished daily is a nice touch. We also enjoyed the coffee service in the lobby and convenience to the mall (PS you can park there for less). What a great hotel is the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner. We came back a second time after six months and have to say that it has been one of the most complete hotels from the Ritz Carlton brand name that we have stayed in. We stayed here for two nights during a visit to the DC area. The location was a convenient to both DC and northern Virginia sites. We checked in around 1pm and our room was not ready. The hotel is beautiful, service is excellent, and the rooms and beds are very comfortable. Even the in-room coffee was quite good. This Ritz needs a MAJOR renovation. I know they are scheduled to make some changes but that does not help guests staying now and they should not be deprived for that. Caymus wine is $60-$65 for a bottle. I understand having a markup on alcohol but $40 for 6 carefully poured ounces is a joke!! Service is not friendly and hotel outsources valet and other services. Set in a convenient location, the hotel was everything I expected from the Ritz Carlton brand. The staff was welcoming and professional. My room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. I stayed for 3 nights. The first room i was given had an interconnecting door to adjoing rooms on both sides. Personally i hate this as it doesnt make me feel safe. I thought I would see how it went, but at 22:30 the next door occupant came back to the room and i could hear every word of her phone call so i requested a new room. The proximity to the metro stop, free van service to nearby locations and connection with the Tysons mall make this a key location for business and family travel alike! For Tesla drivers, this location has also taken the initiate to install a HPWC. Great customer service.

After a hard days work it is a pleasurable place to return and unwind at the end of the day. Service and food service is exceptional. This really is not representative of any Ritz Carlton in which I have ever stayed. The only reason I didn't give it a one star was that the front desk staff was so nice. The rooms are okay and I mean just okay. One night a hotel employee knocked on my door at 10pm non stop until I opened the door and he asked me if I called or something in broken English. The property itself is magnificent. We went for tea at 2:30 pm. Our server, Aster T., went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the experience. From advice with the menus, to timed delivery of the tea elements, to friendly chats, she was all one could hope for in a server, who was more like a professional friend.

Good business hotel which was attached to a mall. So in the evenings it was easy to go and grab something to eat or walk off jet lag. The rooms are a very good size and the service is what you would expect from The Ritz. Nice little coffee shop/bar just off the lobby for a bagel in the morning to save over eating at a huge buffet. Great hotel, well recommended. Shuttle bus to take me to the other near by malls and our office.

Our king bed is comfortable and unit is clean however we've been here for 2 nights and the AC unit is loud to the point where it disrupts our sleep. I called the front desk this morning at around 7 to let them know I wanted to move and was told that they are full (on a Tuesday) and would only be able to move us to a room with double beds. The first time I stayed here it was sub par. They extended me a free stay after hearing my concerns and when I returned it was really a great time. They have very nice staff in the front office and the hotel is connected to one of my favorite malls. I will continue to stay here every time I visit DC even though it isn't right in downtown. My only suggestion is they DESPERATELY need to renovate their guest rooms they look like they are from the 1600s.

The rooms are small, and they look quite old, even the bathrooms need a new face. The layout of the hotel is so complicated it took me a few days to learn how to move in there. The service was superb, the food at the Lounge was really good. The hotel is nice and quiet, and the shuttle service to the mall, something to be thankful for. I liked the way it felt, cozy, warm, unlike some of the other hotels in the same city.

I took a friend of mine to experience Afternoon High Tea for her birthday today. I knew what to expect of the food quality because the Ritz Pentagon City hosted my bridal shower many moons ago. No surprise--still delicious. Re: Wait staff-- like apples and oranges. My wait person should be "shown the door". The absolute worse service I have received at any Ritz. If not for the ma√ģtre d', I would have complained. He saved the day. Absolutely delightful.

I've said it before -- this hotel is hands down one of the best RC's out there for service, style, comfort and convenience. Friendliest and most accommodating staff you will find anywhere. And for those in need of retail therapy, the hotel is in the upscale Tysons Galleria. There are several stellar restaurants in the area. Hotel also is close to the beltway and offers easy access to Dulles airport and the DC metro line.

Stayed at the R-C for a wedding weekend and the place was outstanding. Though the rooms were a bit small, it was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Fantastic spa with a great indoor pool and hot tub, made the many hours of driving seem to melt away. The banquet facilities were very nice and the food was excellent! Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, particularly when they provided us use of a wheel chair for my elder father who was having difficulty getting around.

Just a month ago we were in the Ritz in Montreal and a few months ago in Florida. Both were excellent experiences and services. Sorry to say this one does not feel like one. Cons, - bathroom sink had a hair or your vast not cleaned properly. A great hotel in a great location! Had a night out with a girlfriend and we stayed here. The rooms are nice, the beds are super comfortable and the service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and were greeted with champagne. We used the spa for massages and were not disappointed!

Everything in the Ritz was great, but one thing that stood out was the lounge service. Shima who oversees the lounge in the evening was exceptional. She would make you feel very welcome, always insured that your needs were met, and was extremely pleasant! I give her and this hotel 5-stars.

This is a great hotel if attending a meeting or doing business in Tyson Corner. I stayed for five days for a course and the facilities were great. It is a bit too far from Washington DC if going for some sightseeing. The hotel is attached to the Tyson Galleria which is a high end mall with designer stores and several options for dining. We stayed at the Ritz for the weekend in order to do some shopping and see Cirque. We had stayed there before and were quite impressed. This time they were under renovations so they had to change our room (down graded, also refunded some money, and given a pass to the club lounge). We were in a remodeled room. They are updating/refreshing rooms. New furniture, carpeting, and wallpaper. Bathrooms appear to have new fixtures, toilets, and some paint. They did away with the telephone in the restroom. Did have some construction noise around 9:30-10am.

This is the Ritz right? One of the most fancy hotels? You would think that would mean easy and amazing service but you would be WRONG trying to set up a wedding block and seeing who has rooms booked has been a nightmare. One of the things I love about going to the Ritz Carlton Tyson's Corner is their ability to serve a customer to their highest degree. Everyone has their bad days but the Ritz's managers are prompt to ensure that if you have a bad day they are willing to help it become a better day once again. Had a nice two day stay at one of our favorite places. Wasn't too sure about their re-do from traditional decor to modern but am getting used to it. Great service. Breakfast was amazing. Went for a family party we got a special rate was a nice plus to our stay. The room was lovely, with no view, but did have connecting rooms with my daughters family. That was important. It was memorable. Ambiance was good and not crowded at the time of visit. Close to shopping area. Had tea with sun going down. I like to go again and spend more time there. The luxury hotel correlates fully with "Virginia is for lovers..."

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Hotel is under renovation and very noisy. Room service brought me a stone cold steak. Even checking in was lengthy and inconvenient. Heating doesn't work and when I tried to get a blanket out of the closet, I found that the bag containing the blanket had been placed in the closet when paint was still wet and it was stuck. When I explained some of these issues to a woman at the front desk, she said, "okay, here's your new key."

Location-wise, it's Tysons Corner and I suspect if you are staying here, you're here for something in the area. Easy to get to and nicely situated. First impressions are always critical. I arrive and get dropped off and, while there were valet guys all around, there was no 'welcome' or 'the lobby is a few floors up' greeting which is a bit odd. The entire staff was very welcoming and appeared geninuinely happy doing there jobs. The location was excellent and the hotel provides free shuttle service to the metro station and to restaurants and businesses in the area, of which there are many.

Time was when Ritz-Carlton defined refinement, luxury, and service that goes above and beyond. Judging by the still-renovating Ritz-Carlton at Tysons‚?? The club level rooms are definitely worth the additional money. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. They set up our reservations at all of the restaurants. Shima and Wasseem were awesome and are truly committed to providing excellent service.

The location of the hotel is convenient for those that want to stay outside downtown DC. The hotel is easy to find and parking etc is a breeze. Let me say that the service was 5 star all the way. Ritz Carlton Tyson's Once I found the lights (you must independently turn on every switch separately on each lamp, old school style), I discovered a lovely, new, clean room that I was happy to pass the night in. we stayed at this hotel after my husband's spinal surgery while he was under observation with his doctor. First of all we stayed at executive suite. They are in process of renovating the hotel and rooms looks much nicer than it used to be. We stayed at suit 801 and the size and view was excellent. Very lucky to have the pleasant experience of staying in this fine hotel. It provides free shuttle to go to must of the adjacent shopping centers. The best part is its friendly and courteous staff, which they called the ladies and gentlemen of Ritz-Carlton. The hotel itself is connected shopping mall called Tyson II. I was in town for a week for a work meeting and could not have been more satisfied with my stay. I was traveling with my wife and baby, so we didn't venture too far out from the hotel, but sure appreciated the two restaurants and ability for them to go to the mall without going outdoors. This was my first time staying at a Ritz Carlton and I must say they lived up to the hype. The attention to detail and extreme professional customer service was inspiring. Thank you to all!

We have been staying here for years while showing our family the great attractions of the D.C. Area. This is one great hotel. We always stay club level and we are never disappointed. The Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner is top notch. Our stay was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable. There was no noise from the hallway unlike other hotels. They offer turn down service. This was the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. I can't wait to stay again.

As I wrote in my original review of Ritz Carlton in Tysons corner, this hotel exceeds with incredible customer service. Now that the rooms have been updated, this might just be one of the best Ritz Carlton's in the DC area The decor in the rooms is truly beautiful, the bathrooms are astonishing and the bed is so comfortable. Given the cost, this is a really good deal especially on the weekends. Check this out I think you'll agree that they did a great job

Although I have stayed here several times, I fell it has been going down recently. On my latest stay the fire alarm went off and as I had my bags nearing the elevator I walked down 21 flights of stairs with them. When I get to the front desk and asked what happened she gave a shrug. When I said that it was a long trip down she just replied maybe the construction or something set it off. Not at Ritz level at all. Wrong room was assigned. Not willing to correct the issue just because they were sold out and we checked in around 8pm (too late?). In-room dining was worse than local fast food restaurants but more than $35 per person for small breakfast.

Hotel is very nice and attached to the Galleria Mall (you do not have to go outside to get to it). Bar area is not huge but adequate enough. The website did not mention anything about construction or if it did i missed it. had to move our room 4 times finally gave up and just settled as we were told that they stop working at 2:00pm, so much for the afternoon nap though. My daughter asked to keep it low-key for her birthday, which the hotel did completely as requested. They delivered a tray of chocolate cookies and drizzled "happy birthday" in chocolate syrup. At afternoon tea, they made a tiny but beautiful cake and the pianist played happy birthday song. It'll be in her memory for a long long time.

Same rates, but this is a first-world nation compared to the Marriott's third-world Tyson's Corner hovel. Really like this place--great bed, clean rooms, great service. At least you get what you pay for here.

The Service at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner is incredible. Many complain that the rooms aren't up to the Ritz brand and perhaps not, but they are very clean and certainly sufficient and met our needs completely. The bathrooms are on the small side and this is a bit of a surprise at a hotel of this quality but all the complaints about the rooms are overdone in my opinion. Never has the saying 'you get what you pay for' been more true. A few dollars more than the standard big hotels, the Ritz delivers high value and perfect service every time. Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms, great food and beverage. It's the perfect place to come back to after a long day of business meetings. There are no better hotels in the area than the Ritz, I've tried almost all of them.

It's been a while since I stayed, yet the fond memories persist. The 5 Star quality is apparent from the greeting at the door and then at the front desk and likewise at the bar The rooms are the usual Ritz high quality-bed is extraordinary comfortable, the room tastefully decorated and the amenities top rate. While prices are high, the difference from other chain hotels make this a value for money proposition.

The staff on all levels go above and beyond to make sure that all is well with your stay. The spa and swimming pool are the best.
