First time ever staying at a Hyatt property, this location is part of the Tysons Corner mall area. The hotel is adjacent to the third floor of the mall, walk out the hotel and you can enter the mall or hang out on the terrace like area that has a Starbucks and 3 other restaurants and entrance to Lord & Taylor. People were either milling about or playing checkers or ping pong. A short walk over a bridge takes you to the Tysons Corner subway station. The parking deck is connected to the hotel. ... Read more

I am a frequent traveler to the DC area, generally staying in or around the Georgetown area. It is very expensive to stay in that area and at times difficult to get reservations. For this trip, it was the beginning of Memorial Day weekend. I had to go a bit south of the city, and ended up at Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner. I was able to easily get back and forth to Georgetown University using side roads and staying OFF the backed up interstates, about 15-20 minute drive. What a JOY this hotel i... Read more

First time stay at Tysons Corner, but we will definitely return. The Hyatt Regency feels spanking new, but any early service issues have clearly been ironed out and the places runs like clock-work. Rooms are large and extremely comfortable. We were offered a room on a high or low floor and we chose high, with views out across Virginia. The hotel is well appointed for the Tysons Mall shops as well as access to the airport. Breakfast from the Barrel & Bushel was fresh and plentiful and servic... Read more

I was at this hotel for a business meeting that lasted 3 days. The first great thing is the proximity of a metro stop. I took the metro from DCA (Reagan National) to Tysons Corner and was able to have covered walking all the way from the station to the hotel. There is a HUGE mall attached to the hotel with a wide range of shops from Barnes and Noble to Old Navy to Lord & Taylor. They also have a great variety of restaurants to choose from within the mall. The new Hyatt is very nice. The rooms are very open and bright. The restaurant have very good food (great salads) and some very good local brews. There are also some nice restaurants outside and in the mall connected to it. The only weird things are; the front desk is on th e 3rd floor. The Hyatt parking area in the Garage is on the 3rd level but then you have to go up a level to get to the walk-way which puts you in the back of the building. You have to walk around to get to entrance..

The Tyson's Corner Hyatt Regency was well worth the money. The hotel has a modern décor and the room was nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel is located near I495 and access getting to the hotel was really easy. The hotel is located next to a shopping mall and they have a really neat play area for children and adults right out the front door of the hotel. The area is very family friendly and we had fun playing ping pong then getting a hamburger and shake at the Shake Shack.

Sure, you're in the middle of a high-end mall, but the hotel is very stylish. Busy, busy place near the beltway but the sound-proofing is fabulous, maybe the most QUIET room that I've ever stayed. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk and a lively plaza out the front door. Stayed on a weekend so the parking was free. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

My room was awesome, I loved the modern set up, although, I missed not having a tub - I'm probably one of the few people who actually take baths in the hotel room when I've had an exhausting day or night. Some of the updated rooms have a bidet attached to the toilets and some may like that feature. I loved the fact that the mall is connected and plenty of restaurants are right there. We have stayed at this Hyatt twice and find the rooms and view to be quite impressive! Plus, the hotel is in a great location, adjacent to the Metro and Mall. One of the top hotels I've ever visited, and I travel over 120 days a year. The location is great for business events due to the meeting space and amenities. There are numerous quality restaurants within walking distance and the Metro from /to Dulles is just steps away. Tyson's Corner Center has great high-end shopping and casual dining. The rooms at this hotel are business-traveler friendly with plenty of electric plugs and a large desk top. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hyatt Regency was an excellent place to stay this past weekend! Our room was on the 12th floor. Housekeeping was very helpful and the room was immaculate. There is a safe and with a light so you are able to see in there. This safe is big in length to fit your laptop. There is a small refrigerator next to the safe and a pull out coffee maker. They offer Starbucks coffee in the room. The bathroom was very clean and stocked. The amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower... Read more

Hyatt Regency Tyson's Corner is a beautiful hotel with modern, beautiful guest rooms that provide everything that a traveler needs (lengthy desk with room for 2 people to work, exceptional beds, and a beautiful bathroom with high end toiletries). Conference space and food service were fantastic. Location is great--directly connected to the mall. A+ service.

One thing I really enjoyed about this hotel is that I was given an option to upgrade rooms. I took them up on the offer! My first room had several lightbulbs out in the ceiling out. Housekeeping wasn't great, otherwise they would have noted to replace the main lightbulbs in the room. My trash wasn't emptied every day and the second room I had, the refrigerator had to be replaced. Other than those minor things, this hotel was great. The rooms were very large and nicely appointed. A great looking and well maintained property. Great overall design. Exceptional rooms: design, comfort, and functionality. Great bed. Room was quiet, end of the corridor. This was our second time in the area and our first time at this particular hotel. We had tickets to a show at the Jammin Java (in Vienna) that evening so we wanted to be nearby. Finding the hotel was a bit difficult as it is surrounded by the shopping center, parking lots, and apartment buildings. That being said, once we did find it, everything was great. We were told that self-parking is free on Saturday nights so we didn't have to pay for that. Bonus! Our room was on the 11th floor an... Read more

Not the typical Hyatt Regency class & level we have experienced at the other locations. Service is horrible. We have checked in on Friday night around midnight. Before the checkin we have called and required about their restaurant hours. We were given a wrong hours. We were also told that a water in our room is complementary. That wasn't a case. Stayed one night for a conference in mid 2016, and overall a nice hotel. However I left several items in the room on check-out of modest monetary value (a pager, a headphone set, an electric shaver, clothes, toiletries), when rushing back to the airport to catch a plane. The items were supposedly "never found" even thought they were left on the table, in the bathroom, on the bed, and importantly I called within an hour of leaving the hotel. I stayed in the Hyatt twice in quick succession on business. The hotel is located in a great position, effectively being a part of the Mall, and within walking (yes, walking) distance of some great restaurants and bars, including the Barrel and Bushel which is part of the hotel complex. The rooms themselves are clean, , quiet, modern and comfortable, and have the technology you'd expect. The free shuttle, car parking and access to the Metro mean getting further a field are easy too.

On our frequent visits to Tysons Corner we always stay at the Ritz which over time has become dated and permeated with a distinct Marriott flavor and an evaporating value proposition.
