I booked my room thru the 800 number not the hotel itself. I booked the first night using my points and the second night I would pay. I got to the hotel to find out I had a different room each night. The general manager Rod Jarrah quickly fixed the problem so I would not have to change rooms, even though they were completely booked. I had to stay a third night and the staff was great with my accommodations. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. The staff is outstanding. The amenities are also ... Read more

We were using points and expected to be given a basic room. However, to our surprise, we were given a very large room with two queen sized beds, and much more room than other hotels in our experience to spread out in. The bathroom was good-sized and well supplied with toiletries and towels, the lobby was quite large and well decorated, there was a small indoor pool and exercise area, free (and quite good) coffee, and you could buy breakfast in the hotel. Check in was very easy and the staff f... Read more

Hotel was very comfortable with friendly staff. The beds and pillows in room were extremely comfortable. Cleanliness of room was also great. Located just down street from all the interesting sites at Bull Run Battlefield Park.

The Holiday in Manassas is one of the friendliest and best places I've ever stayed. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff amazingly attentive, and the breakfast buffet is great too. It's home away from home except even better with everyone wanting to be so helpful and making sure everything is perfect.

Got into DCA late and Manassas was as far as I could make it before needing a quite room for the night. The staff was wonderful, the room was quiet, and the bed must have been comfortable as I was asleep so quickly I forgot to call home in the evening. The next morning I had to be out the door a little after 5AM to reach my destination. It was a short night and needed coffee badly. Room made coffee? No thanks. So I started thinking of where I could get a decent cup of coffee along the way. Must... Read more

Katie is the MOST happy, welcoming, helpful front desk clerk we've ever met at any hotel anywhere! The 'laughing lady' always asked "anything we can do for you" when we walked through the lobby - coming or going! Couple that with the hotel's proximity to all of the area sites and services and it make HI Manassas Battlefield a great place to stay.

Stayed here 6/2/16 - 6/5/16. What a horrible experience. After the second night, I woke with a bite on my leg. After the third evening, I again woke with another bite. We then saw an ant crawling on the bed and multiple ants crawling all over the desk. We checked out immediately. After explaining to the desk clerk the situation, we received very little satisfaction. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told there wasn't one on duty and a message would be given to the manager when he retu... Read more

I thought I was enthusiastic, but at check-in Katie was so welcoming and bubbly, it was great. The room was very nice; bed comfortable; size of room was more than adequate. Had breakfast the next morning and it was wonderful (took care of lunch it was so big); the omelet ("make your own"; whatever you wanted in it) was served with baked potato wedges on a platter. We would go back again and again.

I researched a couple local hotels to stay while going to a concert nearby. The reviews here were the best. We checked in and dropped our stuff off then left for the concert. Came back around midnight to go to bed. Pulled the sheets down and the one bed had 2 blood? spots and body hair! Gross!!! We called and they immediately switched our room. Next room also had hair on the sheets. We didn't feel like switching rooms again and just slept on top of the covers. Nice hotel just gross sheets :/

I've been staying at this hotel for several years, visit at least monthly for several nights, and highly recommend. It is my "home away from home". While staying in other cities or states, I wish that I could take the staff and hotel with me. The amenities are excellent for family, couples, singles, and business trips. The indoor pool and gym are used frequently and are always a great place to relax. The restaurant has excellent food, the bar is well-stocked, and the breakfast buffet is deli... Read more

Stayed here for two days with friends and family. Nicely done, rooms were clean. For the money,I wouldn't stay here again. Free coffee in lobby, that's it! $144.00 plus taxes and no breakfast(continental or full)is no excuse especially since restaurant is way overpriced. On 2nd day when we came back, cards wouldn't work in doors (both rooms),had to go down from 3rd floor to lobby to straighten out (room prepaid) Massive choices in area so this will not used again.

Spent one night here while visiting the Battlefield. It was pretty much what we expected. Location was convenient and even though right off the expressway we couldn't hear the noise. Room was fine though a hint of mustiness when entering. Staff was very friendly. Missed being at the Express property as breakfast not included. Plenty of restaurant options nearby.

Just to say a big thank you to General Manager Rod Jarrah for his courtesy when dealing with our hotel cancellation (due to ill health). We were booked via a booking agency who were unhelpful whereas the hotel did not hesitate to sort things out. We hope to visit next year. Sue W

We stayed only one night on September 11, 2016, in room 222. The pros: very nice, competent staff; very clean room; modern and clean lobby; well maintained and attractive exterior; updated hallways with European-style pin lights and nicely designed carpet; and responsive elevators. In general, I felt as if this hotel is in the middle of a needed update. Although the hallway lighting and carpet looked new and modern, the wall coverings looked tired. Perhaps that is on the list to do next. T... Read more

Friend and I stayed at this hotel for a short weekend. Room was comfortable and spacious, but the shower/bath had very low water pressure Hotel is rather isolated except for some commercial/industrial buildings, but it is close to the famous battlefield. Hotel staff, especially the front desk and the restaurant, was courteous, friendly and helpful. Restaurant was not open for lunch as we had been told before our trip. Overall, though, a good place to stay in the area.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SHYSTERS! That is the perfect word for them. The staff seems to be well trained?at how to deceitfully over charge customers and then stonewall them until they give up and go away. I would complain about the Manager, Rod, but since he has yet to respond to either of my calls (six days ago and three days) l??m not sure he really exists. First there was a bait and switch with the stated rate of $129 which somehow morphed into $197, and then more. When I asked the reserv... Read more

I attended a four day training conference and was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and the friendliness of the hotel staff and general manager. There was plenty of parking, convenient access to local stores, and best of all the in-house lunch and evening beverages at the "Bistro" bar/restaurant made everything that much easier.

Booked this through Hotwire. It was a great value and with breakfast put it over the top. My children live out this way so we stayed here to be close. There is a Cracker Barrel and other chain restaurants within walking distance. Even a Regal cinema. Tons of shopping and other amenities nearby. This is located right off of 66 on the corner of a road leading to a business park. You need to drive by it and do a Uturn to come back. The only con was the lady at the desk otherwise I'd giv... I stayed here for work reasons, and was pleasantly surprised by the room. The room I had was very nicely sized. The beds were large and comfortable. The linens seemed freshly laundered - sometimes I wonder. The climate control in the room worked excellently. There is a desk with adequate space to get some work done with plenty of charging points located around the room. There is a Keurig in the room for a quick cup of coffee/tea. The room also had a mini-fridge and an ice machine is loca... Read more

The Holiday Inn at 10424 Balls Ford Road was the one we wanted. When we arrived at the correct Holiday Inn, the difference in the greeting was dramatically opposite of the previous one. This Balls Ford Road Holiday Inn was well lit, and our greeter, Marlena, was very cheerful and attentive. She explained all that was available to us in the hotel, provided us with food tickets for breakfast, and asked us if we needed anything else. whenever i am in the area, this is where i stay. The staff and the manager genuinely care about your stay. If ever you were to have an issue i guarantee they will resolve it. I haven't been here in a year and they knew me by name, not just at check in but when i came through the lobby later and Katie was working. I even have a beard now and she still knew me. I wish all the hotels were half as friendly as this. thank you guys

I was very tired when I reached the hotel after a long day in meetings. Marlena greeted me with a very pleasant smile. She was extremely courteous and attentive to my needs. She is a true people person and had great impact on my stay. The environment was not that great, however Marlena definitely had a positive impact on my stay and I highly recommend this hotel.

Customer service doesn't get any better than what Marlena provides. Being an IHG member I was trying to book online for the best rate. Was having difficulty but Marlena was very helpful and got it done. We asked for suggestions for dinner outside the hotel and she suggested City Grill and told us we would get 10% off if we showed them our room key. This was a great place also and we did indeed get the discount. Lobby is beautiful and rooms are good with the usual Holiday Inn amenities but was ... Read more
