Clean hotel, the main entrance is an old house, built in 1827, so not your standard Hampton or other hotel. The rooms are modern with good security measures, some (mine was) have outside doors so you do not have to truck through the entire hotel to find your room, more of the older motel fashion.

Different type of Hampton Inn. Front of hotel is beautifully restored. The additions are interesting but cumbersome. For example, in order to get to our room we had to drive around back in a remote location of hotel. In order to get to lobby and eating area one has to walk outside. No access from inside. And it was 6 degrees. Rooms were clean but furniture was used looking. Numerous chips and evidence of wear. Finally, walks are paper thin. Room next door left TV on and it kept us up all night. ... This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at this Hampton Inn so that in and of itself speaks to the facility. We enjoy the historic feel of the property and the quiet setting as this is the half-way point of our trip down route 81 into South Carolina. While there is nothing really I can point to that is spectacular about this hotel I can say that what they do is done very well. The rooms are very clean and well-pointed with everything you need or expect in a room at this price level.... Read more

Historic site, special experience. The breakfast served in the room was a very special touch and was excellent! Clean, quiet, comfortable. The premium rate for staying in the main building was excessive and unnecessary.

We checked in almost around 12 in the night. Stay was comfortable. Morning breakfast i felt is same across all the Hampton Inn. Definitely has the historic look from outside. Liked the morning staff at breakfast. Very cordial

It is an unusual Hampton Inn. For the "historic" feel of the main house you pay a $10+ premium in the usual Hampton Inn room rate, in my experience. The rooms were typical: clean and with the usual appointments (nothing like the grandeur of the main house). The breakfast was the usual disappointing Hampton Inn eggs, though the sausage was edible. And, it is a bit form the Interstate ... seemed like forever ... but then I am used to the Hampton Inn being adjacent to the interchange.

The lexington Hampton is in a great location and the staff is great. The rooms are average for the price. We requested for a room away from the elevators and got a room next to the stairs and the utility room. The Hampton rented a room or rooms to a work crew who went to work every morning at 6 am running up and down the stairs to the outside. The utility room had a noise coming from it at times. In all fairness to the Hampton we did not report the problem to the staff. We did request a room awa... Read more

Second time staying here. It's nice, like the location, being close to downtown Lexinton. Have family in Lexington and this location is convenient. Had to wait for the price to come down a bit. Holiday Inn Express has nicer rooms, however, has worse breakfast offerings.

Always comfy and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast is a big plus. Close to the center of Lexington, within walking distance, and close to the highway into town. The only thing missing here would be a hotel bar.

We decided to stop in this hotel, not just once but twice. We were driving down south and our little one was getting tired. The hotel is clean and decent. The continental breakfast isn't bad either. This place is a lot better than I expected. I will use this hotel from now on when we travel. The bathrooms and beds are clean. It's sad when you have to comment on those items when it should be the norm. This hotel is nice and it's pretty decently priced.
