Nice stay. Very clean, pretty and great location. Loved the lobby area as I had many bridal photos taken there. I enjoyed the modern rooms. Not thrilled my bedroom AC didn't work for the 2 nights I stayed in our suite

Our son & fiancée picked this spot for their wedding. It was great. We had bad weather(rained for 2-days straight) but everything was accommodated without a problem. Good food & service. We slept very well.

Our daughter and son-in-law were married at Lansdowne Resort on May 21, 2016. Despite the weather, the wedding and reception were beautiful! The entire experience well exceeded our expectations. Beautiful resort, friendly and accommodating staff, delicious food....we couldn't be happier!

Cleaner floor; More overhead lighting; Runway carpet for bridal party; Window Curtains behind ceremony; improved audio system; Improve the dark dingy "closet" area used prior to the ceremony!-Ugh!!! Bathroom closer to Pavilion! Very disappointed with this room that was used for the Wedding Ceromony (May 21, 2016) as a back up due to rain!!!

I stayed here on the weekend I ran the VA wine country half marathon. Polite staff, beautiful pools, and lovely room. A bit loud at night with raucous guests, but otherwise very enjoyable. Received a discount for booking thru the race site.

Unfortunately the 2nd night of out stay we did not get much sleep. Several people were very loud in hallway and room next to us on and off throughout the night. This occurred between 11:00 pm and 3:00 am.

The housekeeping could use a little work, we were left with dirty dishes in our room for 2 days, and the bathroom was not cleaned everyday. The outlet in the bathroom was ready to come out of the wall, very dangerous. Probably would not stay here again.

This is an odd mix for a resort. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and roomy. There is a relaxing stylish aspect to the rooms. The staff was exceedingly friendly in what felt like a genuine attitude of serving their guests. The event included golf and while my game is fair I found the Norman course to be sufficiently challenging (bring a lot of balls) and well tended. A couple of cons: the place is surrounded by suburbia making the idea of getting away a little more challenging; the by t... Read more

You will have a great time here, close to the city yet remote in the country, I was here on business so I did not have the time to enjoy all this resort had to offer but if your a golfer this place is great and so much more to do as well. The rooms are great and the staff was excellent!

A very comfortable upscale Resort. Don't know why most all rooms do not face the beautiful golf coarse. Some minor food service short comings. I would expect better service at the Riverside Hearth for what we spent for breakfast for five people. Overall a very nice resort.

Very nice resort. The resort has it all from golf to the pool slide. You may want to look into off property dining options. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and my suite was very large.

My daughters and I stayed one night. We arrived very late and were quickly checked in to a lovely, clean room. The staff at the front desk were polite and very helpful....calling for a cab for our trip to the airport the next morning. When we discovered my daughter left her cell phone at the airport, the Lansdowne staff immediately contacted the airport and miraculously located my daughter's phone. Although it was past midnight, the Lansdowne shuttle bus driver (Joe Grant) drove me back to t... Read more

The Hotel was very elegant inside and out which makes it perfect for a wedding. The golf course was very nice. They also had a nice path by the golf course to walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of all the view from your window was spectacular.

It was difficult to make a reservation directly with the resort. The rooms were nice. the bed was comfortable. But we were taken back by the condition of the stonewall tavern. The fabric on the chairs were ripped and the carpet was filthy. My friend reported they were in the process of remodeling the place.the Service was out of this world!!!

Ours was a group of over 500 members. The resort managed, met and exceeded our expectations flawlesslesly. We were so impressed that our group is considering having the camp at this location for next several years. If they could satisfy the demands of 500 people, I am certain, they can make a family's experience even more unforgettable.

Please don't ever invite the pizza truck back again, they were ripping people off, they also ran out of pizza and took my tickets, they promise to call me, they never did. I lost out of money with the tickets I purchase for the food truck. The line were over 1 to 2 long.

Great getaway for the long 4th of July weekend! The resort is very relaxing and comfortable. Pools are a real draw. The renovated rooms are very attractive! Lots to do in the Leesburg area. This is our fourth year in a row that we have spent the July 4th weekend at Lansdowne.

Not the best. Was put to the side at the spa. MY mom had a spa treatment for Saturday and someone took her appt. Then she was told to come back on sunday and I had to cancel my plans to say while she got her massage. Very unprofessional.

Everything was perfect except for the hospitality suite on the second floor had a view of the roof not the golf course. Also the spa and the restaurants are a little pricey but you can venture off the resort to have more fun.

Great relaxing environment with courteous and professional staff. I really enjoy the day the only thing that wasn't the best was the fact that we had a wedding party on our floor and they were noises being heard him knocking on doors first thing in the morning all morning back and forth back and forth doors slamming.

Stay was great but had a few minor bumps. Had similar experience with Footgolf as another reviewer. Website talks it up but does not mention cost or need for reservations. When we called during our stay to reserve we were told it was closed (on Saturday) and only open by advance reservations and would not be open Sunday either plus the cost was $62 per person which is outrageous. My wife and I visited this resort for our honeymoon and the overall experience was amazing. The only downside to our stay was I found a spiderweb with my face right after walking into our room and then we did find a spider about the size of a quarter a few minutes later, neither of us can stand spiders so that was a bit uncoforting.

Loved this place! Will definitely come again. We stayed here for day trips into Washington DC and used the Metro Rail system. Great service. Only downfall was lack of choices for breakfast. Only choice was quite pricey, esp for kids. The pools were beautiful and our kids used them alot. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Checking in was excellent and came with a glass of champagne (which was unexpected, but wonderful). The facilities were very clean and the staff was very helpful. I especially appreciated the full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that was in the shower. The spa was lovely and Brenda (who did our hair for the wedding) did a phenomenal job. Overall it was a great stay and one I would highly recommend.

Great hotel with wonderful helpful staff, great location and spa. Enjoyed manicures there. We were in the area for my son's wedding and had big items for rehearsal dinner that we needed help with. Bellmen were very helpful! Rooms were spacious, as were bathrooms. Enjoyed walking to the river for a short hike, cocktails in the tavern, and the health club for workouts and a free spinning class!

Relaxing visit with my friends. We visited two wineries in the area; received great advice from several people at the front desk. (Ubered out to the wineries but could not get one back. They do not service out that far. We were not aware of this until we tried to return to the resort.) We also had massages and enjoyed the sauna and whirlpool.

This is a luxury golf hotel in Virginia. The golf course is lush and well-kept, the grounds are very attractive. There are ample opportunities for walking, tennis, and other activities. The food is exceptionally overpriced, and for me, one meal was toxic. I had baked chicken and root vegetables and spent the next 24 hours in the bathroom. Mistakes happen, but this really made the overpriced nature of the food stand out, as you might guess. Nearly everyone who is not in a management position... Read more

This resort is a typical "destination" resort that is nearby to all historic Virginia attractions, as well as to Washington D.C. It is extremely relaxing and comfortable with verandas of rocking chairs, fire pits, fitness opportunities, spa,and pleasant grounds. Nothing extraordinary about it. Golf course is nice but standard.
