Rooms were good. Bad pressure and ventilation in the bathroom and temperature controls were not very responsive (tried to cool to 65, only went down to 71) but the bed was perfect. restaurants however were awful. don't bother planning on eating here. The breakfast is a ripoff for motel 6 level quality. You'd think a destination hotel would make that a priority. the tavern was terribly understaffed resulting in 15 minutes to get a table cleared (not the servers fault mind you, it was just they h... A big hotel that attempts to provide big-luxury, but fails on a few fronts. Negatives: The breakfast buffet is expensive, but unimpressive. The WIFI signal is slow thoughout the hotel, especially in-room where you need it. There is constant annoying loud music playing at the pool. Meager "product" in the bathroom did not include skin lotion, and only one small bar of soap for both sink and bath (there was body wash in the bath, but the pump didn't work). Positives: the staff is friendly and... Read more

Let's start with my only complaint we played the Robert Trent Jones golf course which was very accommodating with rental clubs and golf cart. The course was in perfect condition but I would like to see them cut the fairways a little wider and cut the ruff down to where you can find your golf ball. I can't tell you how many balls we lost just by being off the fairway a few yards to continue to look for your ball it would slow down play which I do not like to do. So we would just drop a new ball a... Read more

Nice getaway for the Labor Day weekend. The hotel is well maintained, excellent location. The elevators run non stop so I didn't sleep well. The tub was dirty. The restaurants were good, my favorite was the Stonewalls Tavern. The collard greens with smoked mushrooms and grits were my favorite, so much I had them 2 days in a row! Unfortunately, the menu is changing this week. The hotel taxes add up. Overall, good stay.

Nice location in a scenic part of the state, property was maintained but would have to call the experience average, little details one would have expected to be attended to were not. Golf course was in rough shape.

Great facility for hosting a conference. Adequate meeting space, good acoustics, clean and attention given to detail. I would consider hosting my own organization's meeting at this facility. Friendly staff!

We had previously attended and even booked corporate events and golf outings at Lansdwone, but this was the first time we personally hosted our rehearsal dinner and out-of-town guests really because of the location and range of facilities. Our expectation going in was "so-so", but were blown away by the performance of the resort and all of the staff. The food, service, facility and most of all, the people were 1000% BETTER than we had expected. No problems, no hassle, every request met with a ... Read more

Our stay a the resort was very enjoyable. We enjoyed driving into Leesburg historic district. We live in Baltimore and found the drive very quick going both ways. The weekend was very enjoyable and we would recommend our friends and family to visit the resort.

The service and staff were fantastic during our stay. It was our anniversary and extra care and consideration was made towards us during our whole stay. It was a relaxing night and it was close to wineries and breweries in the area. I called in to verify my reservation and the service via phone was incredible. When we arrived until we left everyone was great. We ate at the new coton and rye which was enjoyable. There were a number of weddings going on the day we were there but they didnt a... Read more

This property is lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. View from the eighth floor was beautiful. Our one complaint was that the outdoor pools were closed on Friday and in the afternoon on Sunday. We would have liked to spend more time at the pool, but we understand that the hours were probably limited since we were visiting after Labor Day.

This review is for Spa Minerale. I purchased the Travel Zoo deal. It was $100 for a 50 min spa facial, reg. price is $150. At check-in my friend and I were greeted. The facilities itself were nice. It sort of feels like you are in a basement. The layout is not the best. There were at least 5 times I got a bit turned around and lost. I liked the private changing area, that was nice to have for privacy. The lockers are full length and big! The robes are very comfortable, I loved them. The flip f... Read more

I have been a guest at Lansdowne Resort at least 50 times. We live very close to the resort and like going on vacation close to home. The outdoor pool was open and probably will be until the end of September. This is a real treat because 99% of all the pools in the local area close after Labor Day.

Excellent get away! Wonderful stay at the best location on the east coast. I'm ready to return, when I return on the next trip, I will be sure to bring at least 2-3 friends for a girls weekend out. One of the places I have ever visited.

This is not a 4 star resort. Service spotty at best. Room looked like any Hilton except bathroom was miniscule and sink was in the room rather than the bathroom. No bath products like lotion, etc. Nothing. Absolutely NO amenities. Housekeeping left our dirty glasses and ice bucket with melted ice from night before. Coffee machine broken and had to call several times to get it replaced. Vending machine out of order and no one even put a sign on it. I would never return.

I would say everything was overpriced compared to other resorts I have visited. I then went to Lancaster area and paid half as much per night as your place with much nicer facilities anyway you looked at it. Besides they had a better smorgasbord breakfast and it was FREE

I enjoyed myself immensely. The wine tour(s) was exceptional. The Spa was to live for. The food was flat out yummy. The only thing I would have like to had experienced more of, was to feel more special on my birthday weekend. Other than that it was a wonderful stay. I recommended several friends and family after my weekend stay and seeing my Facebook post, (1) of them have already made reservations to come and visit.

Wonderful opportunity to visit local wineries and experience tasting local wines. The Resort made all the arrangements and we were able to relax and enjoy! Lansdowne Resort has the best staff and the best accomodations! I can't wait to visit again!

I choose this resort from previous year's experience which included a Rascal Room that was a wonderful place for children of all ages. This year it is a Yoga/Pilates Room for adults (I did enjoy that!). Much disappointment for the 9 young children in my family I was entertaining in the area on a visit. Personnel did provide leftover craft activities that the children enjoyed. The fire pit was a hit again but the price of the s'mores kits was very high. I did get a price reduction due to havin...
