This is a multi-purpose hotel from families to weddings to airport travelers. This was our second trip. The staff are really friendly. We enjoyed the lounge both times. The hotel lounge had generous food canapes, which is often lacking with hotels. The pool and gym was very appreciated. I recommend this hotel. It can be a very good value for the money as well.

I am a "Hilton" snob so my friends say. This particular Hilton is a cut above the rest. The rooms are great the staff is excellent and the amenities are what really set this place apart from other hotel chains. I was very impressed by every aspect of the stay. During my stay they was a school that had dozens of students staying at the same location and it was unnoticeable.

Booked a business trip through Laura Bryant. She went out of her way to make sure my stay was comfortable and felt at home while being away for the holidays. The hotel gym is way better than most and the indoor pool is large enough to swim laps in. The concierge's Lounge is nice and the hostesses are very friendly with a warm greeting each time you walk in. The hotel is close to Highway 28 which allows you quick access to other freeways and great restaurants and stores. Could do with some min... Read more

Restaurant/lounge bar was pricey for the food quality but on par for what you would expect in a hotel. Cleanliness and decor of lobby and room were high class but the hallways were a little worn. Not a single hint of that musty cigarette smell which was nice since the night before in a different hotel chain was not pleasing at all.

Hilton Dulles is my goto Hotel when traveling to the DC area. As a Diamond member I take advantage of the breakfast in the Concierge Lounge. Unfortunately the last two trips, the quality of the breakfast has declined. Need to get the old chef back to prepare the scrambled eggs. They are hard as a rock and overcooked, they used to have shredded cheeses (cheddar and Monterrey Jack) that you could add as a topping. We spent two nights at the Hilton and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great in the evenings, but know that you cannot have drinks out there. Oddly, there were no cups in the bathroom - no glasses or even paper cups. Airport hotel is probably 35 yrs. old and tended to get a variety of travelers- reunions, one nighters, conferences, etc. We stayed 3 nights for a reunion. Group had stayed at same hotel 3 years earlier when we reunioned in Washington. Designs have changed but facilities were in very good considering that. Personnel- front desk, maids, maintenance, food service- were all helpful when asked about things. I'd highly recommend to others to stay at this hotel.

Simply horrible night staff. The Asst Front Desk Mngr, without looking up and making eye contact, literally yelled out, "next!" I won't go into the long list of how lousy he and his shuttle bus drivers were, but suffice to say they are sad people trying to spread their misery. The location is also terrible--there are other hotels much closer to the airport. The free local shuttle, accordingly, takes you no where worthwhile. You need a car here. Hilton properties are rarely cheap. I would expect the hotel to match the price, but as with other Hiltons I've been to lately, this one falls short. The chain seems to be resting on it's laurels and riding on whatever it did to bring itself up to par in the early 2000s. This property is no different. First, let's sing the praises. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and plush. Stagg is very friendly and helpful. Ok... So the rooms are out-dated (as is most of the hotel), it's expensive for... Read more

First piece of advice: do not wait for the airport shuttle at curb 2H! If the signs in the airport are telling you to go "right" for the hotel shuttles, don't listen to them. Go "left" instead, and wait at the first shuttle stop (Curb 2A). The shuttle only runs every 30 minutes. I was waiting at 2H along with a lot of other people. The shuttle showed up, but it was already nearly full. We said we would stand, but the driver wouldn't budge: he could only take as many people as there were se... Read more

Did not feel safe staying at this hotel with the renovation of the lobby/drop-off area. We arrived at 8:30 pm and had to park hundreds of yards away in the dark. No bell service available so I had to get my own cart to the car where my family and I dodged traffic on the way back to the lobby. Next, the phone in the room did not work until I giggled the wires. This hotel is a real disappointment. It is "tired" and in need of renovation. As a Diamond Member I was given a room with 2 double beds when I requested a King. The concierge suite is small for a hotel of this size. The most disappointing thing is that the bathroom was not clean. This hotel is currently under construction. My room had an updated sink and that's about it. The walls are paper thin and decor is badly outdated. The in hotel restaurant was pretty decent and the gym was surprisingly large.

We stayed at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport on a way to and on our way back from our Kenya - Tanzania safari vacation. a great place to overnight except for the renovations going on each made a long walk from the drop off point to the lobby.

Online check in did not offer upgrades to HHonor DIAMOND member (other Hilton hotels do this) Front desk did not make me feel welcome at all (Diamond member or no diamond member) She made me wait while she attended to 5 or 6 incoming calls while I waited patiently for her to finish my checkin. I did not automatically get executive lounge acces. This was extremely frustrating and embarrassing. I had to call front desk and then they enabled it and in teh time that was wasted to get all this resolv... Read more

I stayed at Hilton IAD for a night, on my way back to Dubai from Baltimore. While it's a great location 8min drive to the airport, the front desk service is just okay for a five-star property. They took a while to find my booking, and then weren't going to give my breakfast voucher if I didn't query it. My room was very spacious, more space than in any 5 stars I have seen in a while. Room amenities and room service were superb!

This hotel is currently undergoing renovations but in spite of these inconveniences the hotel is very comfortable and quiet. My room was well appointed with great lighting and the standard Hilton amenities with 2 bottles of water. The restaurant was a special treat. The menu had a lot of interesting choices and our waiter, SAM was very accommodating with a great friendly attitude. Our food was served timely and hot. I look forward to my next visit!

There are many good hotels that get 3 stars from me. They represent standard, clean, hospitable hotels. That is my base. This Hilton, unfortunately, fell below that. 1. The hotel is old. And not in a "awww, what a nice old quaint hotel" kind of way. But a "hmmm, it's been a while" kinda of way. Maybe that's why they're doing renovations, but whatever they're doing - I didn't see it - other than closing off the entry to the main lobby. So to get to our room, we came from outside - by t... Hilton Dulles is one of the best hotel to stay in the Herndon / Chantilly area. I have been staying here on and off since circa 2013, usually 2 to 3 weeks at a time. They have an outstanding staff from the front desk staff to the executive lounge. The rooms offer a lot of amenities of course it varies to what room you reserve. Executive lounge staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, make sure to say hello to Lynne she does an excellent job getting that lounge in tip top shape always. Also kud... Read more

I love this hotel! Especially the restaurant bartender Sam! He greets everyone with a big smile and makes you feel right at home immediately! His service is second to none and he recommended the rib eye on the menu which was amazing! Such a great guy! Every time my business brings me in to town, I stay here because he makes you feel like family!

The Washington Dulles Hilton was a tired, old, and for what you got, overpriced hotel adequate only for a pre or post flight stay of the shortest duration. While it was clean, and the desk person was nice, the hotel is currently undergoing construction which prevents you from even entering the front door. Instead, we had to enter some side door, follow signs through the room corridors to even check in. My bed was like sleeping on a trampoline, it was so unsupportive. For what we paid, $170 b... We stayed here since we had an appointment for our Global Entry Application at Dulles Airport. The location to the airport was perfect plus the location was convenient to the Wehile Reston Metro station for day trips into DC.

Pleasant place to stay, they allowed me to check in early after I had an early morning flight. The food served as part of the conference was better than the average hotel far. The hotel was very spread out and there was a long distance between the elevator and the rooms. The shuttle service was a little slow.

This is a short review for the business traveler. The staff at the Cardinal Lounge went out of their way to make me feel welcome, comfortable and ready to work. Both managers, Fifi and Tareza made sure I had everything I needed to be able to work and enjoy an adult beverage. The food was great and most importantly, my water glass was never empty. Every hotel restaurant loves to fill the booze, but having the service to keep the water full is a sign that they know what they're doing. Stay... Read more

Having previously stayed at a Hilton, with an awesome experience, I had great expectations for my most recent visit. However, I was met with a series of disappointments. Although the hotel was going through renovations of the parking lot near the entrance, the the rooms themselves, looked rather dated and the wear and tear of the bedding, furniture, lamps, curtains, etc., was quite visible. The integrity and quality of the food serviced and variety was hit or miss. The best part was the heating ... Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport and wish we could've stayed longer! The room was newly remodeled and a nice large size. The beds were heavenly, the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The bathroom was beautiful with marble, tile, and a sit down shower. There were some renovations going on in the front of the hotel and it was somewhat inconvenient using a narrow side entrance. Breakfast and internet was not included. Parking was free.
