Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly. Always coffee and lemon(real) infused ice water in lobby area. Was there overnite for niece's wedding and able to gather in spacious room off lobby area for family and friends catch up until well after midnite. The water for showers was hot and spray was nice unlike some places with lukewarm water at a trickle.

Great staff, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay meet expectation. The service at the front desk is excellent and very welcoming. Experienced first hand how everyone is treated with respect even if you're not a Hilton member. The staff especially management deserve a rewarding for such a great job they put up front!

As a Hilton honors member I was told they were full and instructed to go to a Days Inn or other hotel down the street after a long drive through many states. After the woman at the front desk was summoned to a back room, she was apparently instructed to give me an overpriced handicapped room for me and my two small children. And to top it off, they are doing horrible construction with blowers in the hallways and wallpaper peeling off the walls. Worst hotel experience.

This place is so typical of the kinds of places that you stay at because you just couldn't justify spending the extra cash for a nicer place (or, as is the case here, the "nicer places" are not that much nicer, if at all). The place was not terrible, or even close, but neither is it special. Clean rooms and good staff (I.e., what you would expect) plus well appointed rooms (to include a full length mirror, which my wife would rate as a FIVE!!) are all there. The continental breakfast is nice eno... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for a 3 day weekend. Helpful and willing staff. The amenities provided were more than expected. Full hot breakfast provided with snacks available in the lobby area all day. Hot drinks available in the lobby 24 hours. Housekeeping was excellent so the room and guest area were very clean. I returned to my room one morning and the housekeeper had left a note on the night stand wishing me an excellent day. She had drawn flowers around her note. I was so happy. My day was off to... This hotel had very tiny rooms. Very tiny. I think the prices should be a little lower since the rooms are so small. I've never stayed in a hotel with such small rooms. However, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The ironing board was broken in our room and the lobby smelled like urine.

Generally speaking the overall appearance and "front end" is impressive. The breakfast area is unique to most other locations by having various separate eating areas which provides some degree of privacy. However, the room was disappointing. While the bed and couch were excellent the physical design leaves a lot to be desired. The room design may be a new innovation that Hilton may be trying out reminding me of some Asian or European concepts of being undersized for a smaller person. The layo... Read more

The Room is very clean.... bed very comfy... Pillows are fluffy the way I like them. The warm cookies and coffee at 5:30 hit the spot after an all day chilly wet ride on the bikes. The only negative was getting caught in a rain storm and arriving to the hotel to find only 1 washer and 1 dryer for a 4 floor hotel and our clothes completely drenched and someone's clothes were in the unattended washer for over an hour.

We stopped here on our way to Highpoint NC. The parking lot was very full so we had to park at the far end of the lot and haul our luggage to the lobby. Parking lot was well lighted though and there were other cars pulling in as well. Clean room and bathroom. Beds were comfortable.

I checked out 4 hotels in Harrisonburg before finding this Hampton Inn. All of the others in the same price range (about $100) were not acceptable. This hotel was a pleasurable stay! It was quiet, comfortable, no bad smells, quiet air conditioning, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, very inviting linens and comfortable bed. Stayed one night on a road trip and would definitely put this hotel on my list to stay again and save my time looking elsewhere.

Whenever I travel with my family, their comfort is my number one concern, and the cost is secondary. The Hampton Inn in Harrisonburg was an overnight stopover on our way back from Atlanta, and I was appreciative of the way we were not only comfortable, but also received excellent value for the price. The breakfast was an added feature, and my wife and I loved the waffle maker! Definitely a great experience!

As a loyal Hilton family member since 2012, stopped for a night while on our way from NC. Room was fine, however bathroom sliding door would not close properly. We've never seeing a more horrible breakfast. Nothing was served, everything was empty including the coffee and when It was finally refreshed -they refreshed it with old stuff such as dried up eggs. Hotel and rooms are somewhat dated, but comfortable. Our toilet was stopped up when we arrived and it took about an hour longer than it should have to have this problem corrected, which was only accomplished after the front desk personnel left the plunger with us. We have stayed in this Hampton Inn several times over the years. While still very clean, our room was not stocked like we have expected in the past (missing blankets). This is a fairly new hotel. It is nice in many ways but they were too greedy in squeezing every inch out of each room during construction. The room doors barely have enough room to open; when you walk in you hit the wall, and the doors don't self-close. Also, the bathroom door is an unlockable slider, and it slides over the closet when the bathroom is opened. Each of these things are terrible when you're a family of four.

I've stayed here three times this year because the price is just right for the quality of the room and the wide variety of onsite offerings (hot breakfast buffet, pool, weight room, etc). As usual, the staff were great: efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The reason the score wasn't higher is that the property is a bit tired: significant investment needs to be made, especially in the common areas (lobby, halls, elevators, etc).
