I stayed at this Quality Inn for one night for a concert that was happening at the collesium. I used my choice points for a free night and got the manor suite. It was HUGE and I really enjoyed it!!!!!

We mainly picked this hotel for the pool. I had stayed here before back 3 years ago I think. We booked the hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived I probably waited 5 to 10 minutes just to check in. (It was around 10 pm when we arrived)The staff member was very pleasant and very nice. We get in our room and the first thing I notice was there wasn't a fire alarm. nice, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with micro, fridge and of course coffee maker. 24 hours hot coffee in lobby....close to shopping/nice restaurants,historical busch gardens,va beach,confrence center.

checked in at 1am after a 20 hr drive. one night had been charged but gave fd associate my second card to put ALL other charges on. he did. also asked about my emotional support animal and told him i could show him my script. he said he needed a copy of it. i told him that was illegal and he ended up charging me for him anyway. when we got into the room it was dirty. the walls were dirty there were wrappers and a hair tie under the bed. there was also a bug and dirt on the bathroom floor. the so... We had a non-smoking room but the hotel reeked of smoke, even in the non-smoking room. It was so bad that on returning home, I had to wash all clothes that were in the room, air out the suitcase, back pack and even bags in the backpack, Service was very poor as well. The location was very good, but I would not recommend this to anyone but a heavy smoker. The air conditioner duct was filled with gunk, water leaked from it..

Spend the extra money and go next door. My family and I stayed here and everyone had complaints. Air conditioner units were broken (management argued that it was fine until we wouldn't budge on the issue, one family ended up just leaving and going next door to a better hotel),the water pressure was low and water was brown (the management agreed to comp half the room price for this issue, only after we asked for compensation, I still just prefer a hot clean shower!). It is a waste of time to call ahead and make special request, because the manager and the majority of her small staff is rude and they ignores your request. I look forward to a nice restful night, and from this hotel it is impossible. The air condition unit is extremely loud and out dated; the room has a mildew odor; and they do not offer assistance to the elderly only to name just a few complaints. If they offer you a free night stay please run away and do not look back.

I stayed in Quality Inn in Hampton, Virginia over the weekend. I make a habit of reviewing hotels after I leave unbeknown to the hotel. I have traveled for so long and stayed in so many hotels that even an one night stay in a hotel is worth reporting on afterwards... for all of us travelers benefit. Nice hotel...very clean. Convenient to our activities....Short ride to airport. We traveled to Newport News for a baby shower. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. WiFi good and a fair free breakfast. Our only complaint was that there was an apparent leak in our AC unit which caused the carpet to stay very wet right under it but it stayed cool and very comfortable and did not seem to affect the cooling at all. I was not expecting this weather when I returned from the Shenandoah Valley. About 1830 the lights went out and did not come back on. Since I have both sleep aphnia and COPD, I decided to go to Langley AFB for the night and then thought that the Quality Inn - fairly newly branded from something higher up the food chain - would do. I am apart of the rewards program. I have used this hotel many times. Made a reservation had a change in plans, needed to change the date of arrival, had to come earlier. Came stayed at the hotel in August, 2016. Now this hotel refuses to cancel the other reservation. I will never stay at Quality Inn ever again. Employees lack professionalism. And the company cares nothing about travelers having a quality experiences with them over the phone.

We had great rooms (3 total) on the 5th floor. great views of the city. Only complaint is the foundation for the beds have the plastic that was never removed and you can see it as soon as you enter the room sticking out.. Not a good look. Other than that all was really good. Nice hot breakfast in the morning from 6am-9 am.
