Very nice hotel. Beautiful decorations and very clean. Large guest rooms. Pool was a nice feature. We enjoyed the free breakfast buffet. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Very convenient to the convention center.

This is a clean hotel with spacious rooms and a location that is perfect for anyone participating in an event hosted by the adjoining convention center. The beds are comfortable, I loved the full breakfast served in the atrium lobby, and the pool is well kept and larger than the typical indoor pool. My only concern is with reservations. I had booked my room three months in advance as part of a gymnastics group competing at the convention center - guaranteed with a credit card - and expected a n... Read more

This is a fantastic hotel. My entire family loved it. Great service and friendly employees. Very family friendly. My husband and I loved the manager's reception. Beds super comfy. Proximity to convention center made it worth the price. We will definitely stay there again.

This was our second time staying here for our daughter's state gymnastics competition. We made our reservations for this year the week we found out when the competition would be to make sure we had a room. There were no issues when we had to add a day at the beginning and remove our original departure day. Very accommodating staff that were helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to staying again for next year.

Let me tell you.... We had three rooms. The nice "assistant front desk mgr lady" (forgot her name- was able to get our room right next to each other. I went for a morning run and it was a great and safe area. I did enjoy the breakfast, evening social, and complimentary beverages. Everyone was awesome. Will be back for sure.

The bathroom floor was sticky, the tub has large chips out of it, the hotel is very much in need of updating, the carpet throughout the hotel was very dirty, the rooms are very overpriced, we did not get the discount we asked for and is advertised. We have stayed at up scale hotels before and have never ran into a disappointing stay before. Next time we will look at the room like we do at motels before we buy, on this trip we stayed at two motels also, (average price $115) they were both clean... Read more

Upon arrival we noticed that a huge group of girls aged 12-15 was staying in the hotel which in our opinion did not bode well for the rest of the stay, sadly we were correct. The amount of noise those girls generated throughout the night was simply amazing and there was no way to get some sleep without earplugs. We complained numerous times at the front desk, even at 2am (!), sadly without any results. It says a lot that a group of teenage boys staying at the hotel for a basketball event was bot... Read more

Please regulate the use of bleach in linen. Eyes were irritated, red and swollen from excessive use of bleach odor. Seemed as though bleach was saturated in sheets, towels, and bathroom. Seems as if cleaning solution is used as a self cleaning agent (spray on and left to dry).

We had a superb stay at the hotel. Can easily be used as a base for day trips throughout the area. The evening reception and morning breakfast was unique and something new to experience. The rooms were large enough for the family. Offers a pool, exercise room, coffee shop in an hotel restaurant (we did not get a chance to eat there though). Stayed here for Hampton Jazz Festival. Hotel was 5 minute walk to doors of the Colesium. Hotel was very clean and inviting. We love Hilton, and this hotel is a perfect example of why we stay there. Great suite, clean, up to date furniture and TVs, great restaurant, and well trained and attentive staff The restaurant, Cyprus Grill, was outstanding, both lunch and dinner. Great breakfast! This hotel is located right next to the Coliseum and Convention Center. The lobby has an atrium, similar to a lot of these Embassy Suites. I would give more than 3 stars because the hotel itself was wonderful. The people at the hotel however was a different story. It was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I was given 3 separate rooms. All of them were filthy. Carpets were not cleaned in the first room and there were black stains on the pillow. The second room smelled like an ashtray. Not good for my son who has asthma and my pregnant wife. The third room had stains on the pillow cases and the sheet in the sofa bed was stained and had not been changed. Housekeeping should be ashamed of themselves. I took my family and left and drove home

The price for the room with all the services provided were extremely well priced. The food service both breakfast and in room dining were like nothing I have ever had. Most in room dining options skimp on the food vs the price, but here it was more food than we could eat.

Outstanding hotel very clean and family friendly. My fiance and I had a wonderful time the staff was excellent very friend and professional. If your looking for a 5 star hotel this is the one great location too. Although the hotel offers an excellent continental breakfast a restaurant on the premises and in the evening their is a welcoming happy hour the hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping malls. Let's see, it all started with trying to confirm our date of check-in around 12:00 a.m. early Friday, July 15. I called the hotel, just to be sure we were getting the proper rate for the Boykin/Castano wedding. The male staff member said, "You will have to do that during the day. We don't handle the blocks or any of that at night." Any other questions, he was short, on the verge of being rude. When I asked his name, he quickly hung up on me. Guests arriving at this facility on July 17 experienced hours of delay getting checked in only to find rooms missing towels. Repeated requests for towels and a trip to the front desk at nearly 11pm finally produced results. Fitness room without towels. Appears the housekeeping staff was understaffed, the front desk hassled and unfriendly.

This ES is old school ES. The way it should be done. Everyone from Chrisianna at the front desk who cheerfully checked us in to the breakfast staff in the morning. They all seem to go out of their way to help and when treated like servants by some attending a family reunion, they smiled and asked how could they improve their situation. Rooms were spacious and clean. A little dated but a small price to pay for such friendly service.

A friend of ours gave a bus outing to Virginia beach this month. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Hampton VA. The hotel was quite pleasant, easy access to local stores, there was a Walmart nearby, a few fast food chains and a Golden Corral. Inside there is a large well lit atrium which double as a breakfast area in the morning where a free buffet breakfast was served, bar area and their in house restaurant "Cypress Grill". I've stayed here on business 13 of the last 16 weeks and I will be back several more times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. I like the manager's reception; 2 free drinks with chips, dip, veggies, and popcorn. The made-to-order breakfast is very nice with a good range of choices. Yes, I've had a few minor complaints and they've all been quickly corrected. It's not home but this hotel makes being on the road more bearable.

The hotel appearance and staff was very helpful, energetic and nice to deal with after 9 hrs of driving. The waiter & waitress in the restaurant provided excellent service and were quick with accommodating our needs. The only downfall was the pool hours. 9:00-11:00 was adult swim. So after driving 9hrs and then only having 15-20 minutes of pool time, three 13 year boys were not happy. It would be nice to see this change in someway to accommodate both adults and kids.

Also a few housekeeping issues: no hand towels or wash cloths, coffee in room the first day, didn't seem to replace used glasses in room when used (that chipped glass was there again after use).
