AC didn't work in the room the 1st night and it got hot they fix it the next day. The shower drain didn't drain so taking a shower was long and frustrating and the soap was recycled because on the side that have the name of the soap it wasn't there. I showed it to the front desk

This is a very nice hotel. Very clean, very friendly staff and always willing to help with any questions you have. The hotel is close to different stores and places to eat. We will difinently stay there again when the logging expo comes back to Richmond.

The staff very helpful and kind. Rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Hotel was close to places to eat and shop. Staff provided us with a list of places and included whether they were within walking or riding distance. Very helpful to us.

We were very impressed during our stay at the Hampton Inn in Glen Allen, VA. The accommodations were the same high quality we've come to expect from Hampton Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good.

Nice, modern hotel. We were given a suite, which was very comfortable and immaculate. Only problem was fridge froze everything not placed in door, so we lost quite a bit of what we brought with us. For the most part, staff were friendly. Great location near lots of shopping and restaurants.

We were greeted at arrival and requested a really quiet room. We got an upper floor, but not the top. We immediately noticed how dirty both the tile and carpet floors were. The next day we ask that they clean our floors. Couldn't tell they did anything....I never heard or saw a vacuum cleaner being used by housekeeping. I travel almost half the year. Hampton and Hilton have great facilities at most of their properties. This stay I had to check out at 3am. There was no one at the front desk when I went down. Having to make a flight back to FL from VA I did not wait around. I just left my key at the desk and expected the receipt e-mailed to me. I got one that still had a balance on it. The extended family gathering for the complimentary breakfast was nice, but the high chairs should not be there. The indoor pool and spa was so wonderful. Good location for personal shopping, urgent care and pharmacy.

Love that you can get Buffalo Wild Wings right next door. The pool and spa was great, just need more towels in the rooms. I liked the location and the amenities avaiable here. Thank you Hilton staff for helping my band.

I stayed a couple of nights at this Hampton Inn on a bus trip with my church and I must say that it was a lovely hotel. Breakfast was great. The staff was amazing, barb was sooo nice and kind, always smiling. The rooms come with microwaves and fridges!! The rooms were clean had had NO critters or bugs!! I recommend this property.

Beautiful room! The room was clean. The bed was super comfy with lots of pillows! I slept great! Breakfast was amazing! Staff was attentive to anything we needed. We stayed one night on our way to our destination.

17 yo daughter, traveling by herself, was locked out of her room. Megan, hotel desk clerk, told her credit card wasn't working & wouldn't let her into her room to get credit card! Checked into the Hampton, just after some nasty storms rolled through. The internet was down, so they were checking people in "old school". The staff was so nice and friendly that it didn't seem like any inconvenience at all. We had a huge, clean room. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty.

There are several restaurants, grocery stores, and shops all within walking distance....some right out the front door! The hotel was quiet and the room was nice and clean. We were only about 15-20 minutes from Cedar Point and it was pretty much a straight shot there without having to even get back on the interstate which was nice.

If I could have rated 4.5 I would have, but I rounded up because of the customer service. Initially, we got a room that smelled like cigarette smoke even though this is a non-smoking hotel. Fortunately, the great hotel staff moved us immediately and we had a great night stay. I understand that things happen. The new room and bathroom were both very clean and the staff was courteous. Location was quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

We stay in Richmond overnight during our yearly travel to OBX. We've stayed in several different hotels in the Richmond area and this one we find to be the best for cleanliness, friendliness of staff, quality of facilities, and great value.

Staying the in Ashland area, we always use this hotel. What sets it apart is the staff, very helpful, very friendly and always willing to help. They have a better than average breakfast here as well. We are usually greeted at breakfast by a cook making omelets and eggs to order and often the sales manager stops by to chat and see if she can be of help. This place was a great. A standard Hampton Inn & Suites but we happened to pass through on a Monday/Tuesday, and they have eggs cooked to order to Tues, Wed, Thurs mornings. Started our next travel day off well. All the other amenities, too: gym, pool, very friendly staff, etc. definitely recommend this place.

I love their open and spacious rooms. No kidding, when I retire I may just live here! Every Hampton I've stayed in has been great! Especially the one in New Bern, NC and in Richmond, two of my favorite hotels in the world. I'd stay at a Hampton any day over a 5 star hotel

This was a one night stop in Richmond. This property was very nice, well appointed and centrally located near Richmond, Ashland and Short Pump. Very pleased with the accommodations. I would recommend for business or family trips.

Was happy that the room was so comfy, nice view from back window, also quiet and staff very accommodating. A nice selection of shops and restaurants nearby. I liked the ability to buy snacks and toiletries in lobby, as well as a few wines!!

Staff (Barb) was super friendly at check-in. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Pool looked very nice. Lots of restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Firehouse Subs, Subway, to name a few. Close to 295 & 95 & Rt 1.

I was excited about booking my family's stay at this hotel, since it is fairly new. Unfortunately, we were have stayed at many other Hampton Inns and we were not impressed with this one. Awesome hotel! The staff is friendly and the room we stayed in was very clean. This Hampton Inn felt a step above the other Hamton Inn's I've stayed at. The free breakfast was great with lots of choices.

The rooms were large and the hotel seemed relatively new and clean. We slept 6 easily. 2 adults and 4 kids. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. The staff was friendly. It was easy access off of the highway. Breakfast was basic. Fruit, cereal, juice, buffet style eggs and French toast sticks, and make your own waffles. Breakfast was OK. Not as good as embassy suites. Overall, this was a nice place to stay on the way to somewhere else.

Everything was very clean, modern, and up to date. Bed was comfortable and pillows fabulous. Easy, convenient check in and out. Breakfast was wonderful, even had omelets made to order. Coffee was fresh and delicious.

Staff is warm, friendly and extremely accomodating. Rooms are outdated, carets in room and common area need cleaning or replacing. My room smelled like smelly old carpet, it was very uncomfortable. I don't recommend.

This was a hotel my family and I stayed in after a long day at Kings Island. We stayed only one night and compared to the previous hotel we stayed in the night before the room was much better. Anytime and everytime my wife and I travel we always stay at the Hampton. This Hampton was filthy the carpet was filthy and was filthy and worn, ceiling tiles were hanging in spots and had water spots on them in the hallways. I am a frequent traveler and this hotel stunk of body odor and staleness. It is being renovated so they shouldn't even rent rooms on the floor being repaired and updated. The worst hotel I have stayed in in 20 years and that accounts for 2500 nights since the previous worst hotel. Hampton Hotels should be embarrassed with this one.

The hotel is going through a major overhaul so if you are bothered by the way things look and smell - don't stay here. The renovations were ongoing all day long. Are the Hampton breakfasts all this bad now, or is this just an isolated incident? Stay away from the rooms near the elevators such as 203, 303, etc. Very noisy! The building can be hard to find after dark!

The hotel room was extremely dirty and housekeeping did nothing in the bathroom each day other than replace towels. Coffee pot had large amount of dust in water well. Desk chair stained with sweet. The room had not been properly cleaned in a long time other than superficial dusting and vacuuming. The hotel was being remodeled but none of what I described above had anything to do with the remodeling. Will never stay at this location again.

I stay at this hotel when I set up as a dealer at the Richmond Coin Club on Northern Blvd. I'd rather stay at a quiet hotel that serves a hot breakfast and has ample parking for vehicles that tow cargo trailers. There are a handful of decent eateries and coffee shops close to the hotel, so that is a plus. The only minor detail is the AC/heat unit, that thing was extremely touchy. We had an extra large room with a pull out sofa that was perfect for our family of 5. The woman working the complimentary breakfast was great...constantly replenishing the food and even made waffles for my kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The room was very clean and comfortable beds. The staff is courteous and helpful. We had a great experience. The complimentary breakfast was good with a variety of hot items on the bar. The breakfast bar was one of the best we have ever been at with clean tables and comfortable chairs; the food was really good and a lot of different items hot and cold.

I noticed that the maintenance staff overlook certain things in the room causing it to be not fully cleaned. When I arrived, there were towels from the previous stay left in the bathroom and was not rectified during the course of my stay.
