Outstanding hotel that is very clean and very helpful staff. With an upcoming family wedding in the area we are again looking forward to having our family and friends enjoy the Hyatt Place. Heidi, the marketing coordinator, has gone above and beyond with her professional service to make the upcoming event and reservations so easy. The hotel also has a great breakfast to enjoy.

We ended up here as the Hilton Garden Inn across the highway was overbooked when we arrived. We normally prefer the Hilton brand but the Hyatt experience was a very good one. This particular hotel is in a good college area not too far from the highway and has everything you need in walking distance (we ate at a college pub around the corner and enjoyed it). If you need to sleep over anywhere near Mary Washington University or Fredericksburg VA, and you're not a fan of B&B's, this is a great choice. The free breakfast is a cut above other hotels of similar class. And most importantly, the rates are less than most chain hotels at the big Interstate exits... Read more

When I asked to be moved to another part of the hotel, they said they were booked. When I left the next morning, the front desk asked how was my stay, I said the room was ver... Read more

The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfy, and the staff is generally obliging. HOWEVER, a maid stole my medications for chronic pain and management stonewalled me about it. There is no room service. Guests, however drunken and rowdy, are permitted to occupy common spaces.
