Everything about the room was in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom in great shape, tv good quality, and the room well sound-proofed. Breakfast was also good. We picked up a great rate on Hotwire and would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are big!! The front desk staff was amazing, Jintea! Was so sweet and attentive.... My sister was sick on our vacation and she took the time out of her busy schedule, to check on her. I would recommend any and everyone to stay here. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night. Not the beat picture but I hope my review helps.

My family and I stopped here for one night on our way home from SC. It's clean and updated, and the mattresses are pretty comfortable. The AC worked very well and the shower was great. We arrived around quarter to one in the morning and the staff member on duty couldn't have been nicer. Also a great location right off the highway.

Just a stopover on our way north, but the place was excellent, from the condition of the hotel, the room and the breakfast! I like the two top sheets on the bed, which was very comfortable. Good quality TV and a great cheese omelet for breakfast.

This HIE is very nice and modern. All of the furnishings are very updated. My king room was also very spacious. There are a few shortcomings to be aware. They are: 1) Parking up close to the building here is limited. The Clarion hotel next store is under the same ownership so you can park over there but you can't see your vehicle if it is parked on the backside of it. It could also be an issue in inclement weather. Luckily, it was not raining when I arrived and departed. 2) The wifi ... Read more

McDonald's built their business on a consistent positive customer experience. I think that HIE uses the same philosophy to ensure a positive experience for the traveling public. Nothing over the top fancy, but you can expect a pleasant check-in experience, a clean, comfortable room, enough electric outlets to charge all your devices, free Internet, both wired and wireless, and a better than average breakfast buffet. This property hits all the right notes. The hotel shares a parking lot and out... Read more

My husband and I recently lost my mother of cancer that we both had together cared for for 9 years. We traveled often while she was still capable of doing things for herself; and then came the diagnosis and the cancer quickly spread. After several weeks we decided to once again travel and thus stayed at this location during our several vacation stops. The 1st 2 days were excellent and we had absolutely no complaints. We were not in the room much at all except in the early am and late evenings. ... Read more

I want to pass along some positive feedback on your breakfast crew Deana and Emelia. My family of four just completed an overnight stay at your hotel. Deana and Emelia made our stay a wonderful experience. These two ladies hustled nonstop during your breakfast time on Sunday, June 19th (yesterday). I??m an early riser. So I came into the breakfast room shortly after 7am. Deana and Emelia were providing wonderful, fast, efficient service to all of your guests. My wife and teenagers are la... Read more

Located on 17 near stores and restaurants. Nice building with nicely equipped rooms. Manager Moe and Jintea at the front desk are very friendly and are eager to help customers. The property could use more parking when they are at high occupancy, but the fact that they are often at high occupancy speaks for the quality of the hotel. Also the team will guide as to using adjacent lots to park in. Good breakfast as well with the normal IHE Breakfast.

Hotel was perfect for us! Suite was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had hot and cold options. There was an indoor and outdoor pool, so the weather wouldn't matter. Staff we encountered was very nice. Location is just outside main city limits but still within 10 minutes to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for 1 night because I had to visit a customer in Fredricksburg. The room was big and clean -I did find someone else's hair on my bed - but I ignored it and pretended I didn't see it :), bed was comfortable and the internet was free and workings fast and perfectly. I didn't try breakfast but there is a good coffee maker in the room along with a refrigerator and a microwave. This is not a fancy hotel but definitely a good choice if you need to stay here.

We were here last minute (as usual) for my mother's funeral. The first night we stay here we encounter ants all over the bathroom floor. We see were they are coming from and we call the front desk. They say they will send a guy up there with ant killer. Why would a hotel have ant killer anyway? They must have know about this problem. 25 minutes later, somebody comes up with Ant killer and sprays it in the bathroom. The next day we find ants again, we call the front desk and ask to be moved. We booked the room by phone about 10 min away while on 95 and this one is off exit 133. This is the hotel chain that we like best for the value and comfort, in the low-to-mid price range. For the most part they range from 3 to 5 stars for me, but this was the best one yet. Our room was spic-and-span and had a contemporary look. Checked in close to 9 pm and found parking. Check in was fast. They ran out of folding beds so get there early if you need one. Gave us plenty of extra sheets and b... Read more

We were just traveling through and stopped here at 1:30 AM without a reservation. I was very happy with the rate, considering the relative proximity to Washington, DC. The room was a pleasant surprise - quiet, with comfortable beds. Each side of the bed had two pillows, with embroidered pillow cases indicating "soft" and "firm". What a nice touch. On our trip to Myrtle Beach SC, we stayed at this hotel going down and coming home (8-16. 8-22-2016). Our room cost was about $120 both times which I feel is fair, especially when they give you a full breakfast every morning. The rooms were clean and large. We had 5 adults (kids ages 16,18,20) so we needed a room that had a pull out couch, which they had. This I feel is an important fact, because while searching for a place to stay, this is the only place we found that had something like t... Read more

The bed was comfortable king, the comforters are pretty heavy if you like that. It is tucked away, just off the highway. Got there later in the evening and the check in was uneventful. wifi worked well. The breakfast was pretty good, we do gluten free mild free and there were still choices, more than a continental breakfast, Eggs, sausage was turkey which we liked. They had booths to sit in which cut down on the noise blaring from the TV. Clean and comfortable.

Wow. Where do I begin?! We stayed at this hotel for one night on our ride from FL to NJ to drop our son off at college. I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt, we won't be staying there again. The staff was friendly, I must say. They were probably the only nice part of our stay. The room was rundown for a Holiday Inn Express (I usually feel comfortable choosing a HXpress). I enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Staff was efficient, friendly overall, place was cleanly. I enjoyed 24/7 fresh coffee I've become so accustomed to. I did not partake in the breakfasts offered, use the gym nor the pool. Main downfall was the difficulty in finding parking. They do not have enough space to accommodate their guests without spilling over into shopping center parking. Overall, I would recommend a stay here.
