My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our visit to Washington D.C. The great thing about this hotel is that it's surrounded by lots of trees. It's so rare nowadays that you can watch out the hotel room window and see only trees and not high buildings. Although this hotel is not located in downtown, but going to the museums and art galleries are very convenient as the hotel offers a shuttle to and from the subway station on hourly basis. Return trip to the Mall is only $10 per person. That... Read more

What a surprise it was to find a highly attractive rate inclusive of breakfast for Mother's Day Weekend. My wife and I enjoyed the weekend with my daughter who enjoyed the nice swimming pool. There was a lifeguard on duty. This space also included a hottub, which was busy, changing rooms, and the fitness center was adjacent. In warmer weather, the pool opens up to an outside swimming area. Worth another visit. We needed a fridge to cool medication over night so we called and one was brought ... Read more

The check in attendant proudly told me I had been given one of the 'renovated rooms' but I have to say that I just couldn't see what, exactly, had been renovated! I thought this place was just OK. It smelt and felt like it needed a good scrub. Would not choose this one again for the money.

Comfortable rooms with a nice bar, good selection of brews and reasonable restuarant makes this a great hotel for a business trip nearby offices. There is a decent running/walking track through nearby fields (you may get a glimpse of local deer) and neighbourhood, and it is a short walk to nearby office blocks. This hotel isn't reall near anything else, no metro station, no decent shops. So be prepared to get cabs or drive to anything other than work.

I love the big flat screen TV and the long counter area to set stuff. We had a few friends visit us in our room and we were all very comfortable. Checking in was friendly and efficient (free wifi if you are a Marriott Rewards member, a nice touch). Room was OK -- clean and things worked as they should (mostly). I stayed here for a business meeting and it felt a bit sterile like a conference hall. I expect that this specific location was built for that purpose? I has a large parking structure that has a bit of a walk to get to the hotel lobby. The rooms are nice, even for a Marriott property. The business lounge staff was friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a top quality hotel in the Marriott chain look no further than this. This is a fantastic hotel! It is located about 20-25 minutes West from downtown Washington DC. The hotel is located in an up and coming technological area and this hotel matches the area it is in. The hotel itself is very modern and upscale. Terrible gym. Main gym isn't 24/7. Who doesn't have a 24/7 gym now? Outdated lobby. Never can get concierge level even with platinum. Concierge lounge has tiny coffee cups to go. Inconvenient. Food scarce at 845. No replenishment.

I haven't stayed in this hotel in years so I was pleasantly surprised at the upgrades. The staff at the front desk was incredibly helpful....I misplaced the card of the young man who helped me, but he definitely understood customer service. Since the hotel wasn't at capacity, he asked what was important to me and assigned a room accordingly. My meetings were in the Tysons Corner area, but the hotels there get so pricey that it was worth the 15 minute drive to stay in Falls Church.

Stayed there over the past weekend and couldn't say enough in how well trained and professional the staff was all the time. From the front desk staff, to the restaurant and concierge on the 16th floor, they all were very nice and made things happen for us. The rooms are very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The only reason why I didn't give this place a 5 star rating was because the toilet bowl and plumbing kept making this ridiculous gargling loud noise from 5am till I would've have to ... Read more

I was really surprised that there was no free breakfast in a place Iike this. You can tell it's really about making money and not about throwing in some perks for guests. Breakfast buffet for $16.90. That's a Lil steep for the breakfast that was offered. Maybe worth 10 but not 17. You also have to pay for wifi. U only got wifi free if you were in the lobby. Which I thought was outdated for a hotel. I witnessed a sign being vandalized and the staff didn't even bat an eyelash when they were m... Read more

If you are looking for a hotel in a populated area, in the center of sites, restaurants, and shops this is not the place for you! However, you might have a change of heart once there. The hotel is literally located in the middle of a park, lush, grounds, walking trails, and ponds are a hop and a skip away. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, and a hot tub which remains open until late at night. The beds are quite comfortable, and the views of the landscape can be admired from rooms on the ... This Marriott should be listed as a 5 star hotel. The hotel is spotless, the staff is very friendly, the food for lunch and dinner is not like your typical hotel food, it's actually very enjoyable moderately priced and the staff in the restaurant is top notch. The hotel room is your standard Marriott room, comfortable beds, very clean, and a nice size. My only complaint with the hotel is the breakfast buffet is absolutely inedible, one more the only thing I ate was fruit because the eggs wer... Read more

Second stay in this property. We got a great rate on the Marriott website. Quick check in and headed for our room which was very nice. Good size room and bathroom with good counter space. Room had a fridge and safe which was a bonus. Comfortable bed too and quiet. No restaurants around the hotel so ordered dinner at the bar. Sandwiches were ok but the menu in the room stated that it came with a pickle and chips but they actually came with fries which looked like they had been sitting around for ... Read more

Another successful D.C. weekend. I chose this location for travel reasons. normally I fly in for this event from BOS but since I was driving this time around staying closer to the airport was a no brainer. That being said. This location is very peaceful nestled in an office park right off the interchange where I495, Route 50 and Route 66 all connect. Free parking inside or out. Very clean, modern property. The hotel staff is very knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and friendly. They do provide a fre... Read more
