Not only were the rooms lovely and clean, but the service at the hotel was truly exceptional. We arrived the night before the Inauguration, and when we mentioned we wanted to avoid DC on Inauguration Day but stay in the area, the lovely folks behind the desk recommended Old Town Alexandria, gave us walking maps and driving directions, and later, upon our return, asked us how we enjoyed it. The recommendation was spot-on. We had a wonderful time. The next day the day of the Women's March, the... Read more

This stay spanned 5 nights. The service - from the front desk, to the bar/restaurant, to the concierge were as expected; flawless. Leading the team was Roberto Perez, a manager who is hands-on and typifies this Marriott Property's commitment to ensure its guests are comfortable at all times. The hotel itself appears recently updated; the rooms and common areas were new and spotless. The gym and pool are more than sufficient for a lengthy stay away. The food is notable and the location is co... Read more

Stayed based upon the information that the hotel was recently remodeled and the low price. 1st off the hotel is no longer white, its some sort of flamingo Florida pink. Carpeting in the hall ways were new as was much of the furniture in the room, however the furniture is really not what i have come to expect from Marriott. the room was small (we tried a couple of different ones). The most importing thing as we were just sleeping here for 2 nights is that the room was clean and the beds were ... Read more

This time I needed to find a convenient location in Northern Virginia for one week and located this property nestled in the rolling hills of Falls Church. They have a wonderfully large covered main entrance. If you need a luggage cart and no one is there just go to the front desk and they will provide bell service. Be sure to have already signed up for Marriott Rewards so you can earn extra points if your staying for awhile by not using housekeeping until check-out. Plenty of parking in the fron... Read more

I participated in a conference, and we had our training at this location. The staff was very professional, and they met my expectations. The restaurant had reasonable prices and the food was pretty good. The food was a good option since I or my group didn't feel like leaving after a long day of training. From the front desk to housekeeping did a great job. There were no problems, except I had a hard time getting out my comfy bed each day. A nice hidden hotel.

The staff was very helpful, giving us rooms close together and rollaway beds, and also helping us with transportation to the Metro with their shuttle. The restaurant was closed for dinner, but we were able to get hamburgers at the bar and the staff there was very helpful even with the overflow crowds.

Came here with my daughter and a friend to attend the women's march on D.C. The price was very good esp compared to more expensive hotels. The location was outstanding and not far from the Reagan airport. Our room was so comfortable and I slept really well. The restaurant had delicious breakfast food. A shuttle is available to take you to nearby shopping (Mosiac) and the Dunn Loring Metro station. I would stay here again.

Not a great location and really expensive for what it is. I am for the Inauguration and I was surprised by the poor service and lack of attention. The Manager at the Reception gave me a serious attitude when I asked for access to the Executive Floor which I typically always receive. The restaurant food was decent for the price, I liked their onion soup and wedge salad but the service was really slow. Will not come back for another stay.

We stayed at this hotel over New Years eve and would highly recommend it based on elegance, location and friendliness of the staff. We were greeted by a very friendly and professional receptionist, which is alway welcomed when first arriving to any hotel. The room was nicely appointed, but did not keep up with the elegance of the lobby and public areas. We found the room to be slightly plain and lacking storage space for the two of us, staying over a weekend. The room could definitely do with... Read more

I'm a Marriott fan, and have not stayed at a property that wasn't fantastic. This property is lovely, but my hotel room was a little disappointing, with the exception of the huge flat screen TV in the room. The hotel room missed the details. I stayed on the 16 floor concierge level. I noticed the room was designed ackward. The TV was positioned to the left of the bed, so you were required to either lay on your side or sit on the side of the bed to watch TV. There was a small couch in the r... Read more
