Exceptional facility and staff. Highly recommend for business travel. Room was clean, bed was remarkably comfortable, and bathroom was immaculate. The staff at the Hyatt are one of the most professional and helpful crews. Fast check in and check out, and available for questions.

We stayed with family for 1 night, while visiting Washington DC. Found the room to be nicely maintained & really specious. Breakfast is fine if not great. Surroundings area has a lot of green spaces, which add to the character of the property. Good part is they offer free WIFI for 12 hours & it works really fast.

Great hotel! We had a panoramic view room and were in the area for only a night for a family bereavement. At the end of the day, this hotel provided the most comfortable stay and sleep. The room itself, the amenities, the bedding were absolutely comforting after an exhausting day. The staff checked us in with a smile and checked us out with a smile.

We were visiting the city with our 4 daughter and my mother. The rooms were nice and clean. Hotel was older but very well kept and clean. Friendly staff and nice pool with a lifeguard which was nice with the kids. The hotel even kept the pool open longer to accommodate. Planning on returning in the summer!

Stayed for one nigiht. This was a good booking! Well configured rooms with living and sleeping area. Comfortable bedding and a nice big television. The parking is ample but the car ended up kind of far from the hotel, I guess they were crowded that evening. All in all, a good value.

Spacious room, very good location, friendly staff. But thats where the positives end. Not only does the hotel need a makeover, it needs some sort of major sound proofing. Sounds coming from everywhere...the outside walls/cladding every single morning, the glass window, the sinks and pipes, doors banging, etc. It was endless.

The staff was unfriendly, and not helpful. First time we ever stayed at a hotel were the pool is not open during the day. Shocked to see it was only open 5-10pm. The light in the room flickered when turned on, the tub drained quite slow, and the sink dripped. Amazing from a luxury hotel.

Just returned from a long day of work to find out that the rooms facing the sun get very hot in the summer. The room was unbearable. Maintenance came up and told me it's normal on a hot day because the Windows bring in the heat. I was told it would get cool when the sun goes down. Tried to change rooms with no luck because they are sold out. Very unfortunate because the hotel is nice but I can't deal with heat in my room when I have to dress in suits. Last time I stay here during the summer... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel several times and had good experiences. This time, after returning from work at 8pm, the room was very warm. Maintenance came up and told me the a/c worked fine. Told me the issue was that the curtains were open and that all of the rooms were hot. During that time 2 other rooms reported a/c issues on his walkie talkie. If the problem was the curtains then why wouldn't housekeeping keep the blinds drawn. I walked downstairs and ordered a fan and went to the restaura... Read more

Nice hotel except that main entry is small and non-descript, allowing little room for guests to walk by those waiting for elevators. Somehow Hyatt must expand and renovate this area to be more comfortable and attractive. Parking lot signage directing you to main entrance also needs to be improved.

The hotel staff was great! Check in was swift and the room was very nice! A great value for the price. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs and we even had room service the next morning for the first time. It was located conveniently so we were able to make it to a concert at the Jiffy Lube Live venue easily that evening.

Reserved a king suite w/breakfast for two and free wifi. Instead I was assigned to a small king room for 4 nights with no adjustment in cost, except for the food. Room and water temps were hard to regulate, parking can be very difficult at times with no lines to define parking spaces. Load noises in hallways until 3AM.

We reserved our separate rooms at least two months in advance. Because of that, we were able to take advantage of the breakfast included special for only about $4.00 more than the room. I stayed for two nights for a friend's wedding. Her block of rooms were approx. half off of the list price. I sure hope the list price was for the renovated rooms! Half off made this room very affordable, even without considering it was 1) near DC and 2) the July 4th weekend. The hotel info says the renovation will be completed by fall 2016. The room I was in was a good size. It had a king bed, a sitting area with a sofa, mini fridge, coffee machine and desk. The TV sat on a dresser that serve... Read more

The room looked very average. The beds are not at all the typical Hyatt Regency class. It looked as if it was taken over from a different brand and just renamed Hyatt with cosmetic changes. Even Holiday in would have given better bedding than this particular hotel. The only good thing is the good house keeping folks, kitchen cooks and bar. It has been quite a disappointment. <===> Hyatt, do you even listen?

I definitely was surprised that this was a Hyatt. I would definitely put this on a level of a 2.5 star hotel. I was disappointed that the pool was undergoing renovations upon arrival, but we were given the option to go to a neighboring hotel that had an outdoor pool. The Fairfax area has a free shuttle to take to metro. This definitely was a plus. Still a lot of work to do to in order to meet Hyatt standards.

So this property was in the process of being renovated. The entrance and lobby are fantastic and well laid out. The rooms...well the rooms on the guest room renovation card look fantastic. I would have thought that with diamond status, I would be in one, however I was not in a renovated room. They are not within normal Hyatt standards.
