This is our go-to stop, traveling with our dogs from NH to Daytona. It's an ideal location being about the half-way mark, but more importantly, a great place to stay with the long road outback to walk the dogs! It's away from the traffic adjacent to a large cotton field. Very friendly & very clean!

This hotel is a short distance from the i-95 S on-ramp. It is in great condition with a nice lobby and sitting area. The dining room is large and the breakfast food is good, it also has a very nice indoor pool and fitness room. There is a good Pizza & Pasta restaurant, and a good Mexican restaurant next door. The only downside was the full size bed was uncomfortable.

Spent 1 night here while driving from Orlando, FL to Alexandria, VA. Was able to get a last minute room and we picked Hampton Inn because they are reliable, you know what you will get and this one was no exception. Clean, comfortable room. Great (and free) breakfast in the morning. Convenient location near I95. Excellent spot to stop for the night if you are making the drive on I95. Highly recommend!

I gave this 3 stars in comparison to other chains, but if only compared with other Hampton Inn's it would be a 1. I was so tired of driving and had to get up early and do it again in the morning. Front desk attendant just asked my name, handed me the key cards, and pointed to the elevator. I stood there in disbelief until she noticed I hadn't moved, and then I asked that since I was a diamond member couldn't I have a snack from the case? She gave me the nuts when I asked for the chocolate. ... Read more

Although a short stay it made impression on us because the staff (I wish I remembered her name) was very accomendating to our needs especially making us feel comfortable and allowing us to park in the entrance with the cameras. We stayed at this hotel twice as a stopover on a road trip and it was perfect for what we needed. The hotel is directly off I-95 and is behind an Exxon gas station. There are a couple of small chain restaurants directly across the street (a Five Guys and one or two other places) or a quick 5 minute drive across I-95 will take you to a shopping area with a couple of restaurants. Normally you get what you pay for. We travel with a dog. Our general experience with hotels that accept dogs had been mediocre at best. The Hampton Inn in Emporia is the exception. We got a very inexpensive rate so didn't expect much. This hotel was updated, spotlessly clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was classic comfortable and clean Hampton with nice attractive public areas. Would have been 5-star except for the sad breakfast. OJ was flavorless, had to wait 20 minutes for underwhelming cheese omelette, and the pastries we tasted either had no flavor or tasted far too sweet. Obviously some people probably love them, but for us it was just disappointing.

Very nice stay. Room was clean. Check in was very easy. One thing why aren't pets put on the first floor. It's just easier than the fifth floor. Really enjoyed our stay and breakfast was very good Definitely recommend

We stopped at this hotel last minute driving back up north from Florida. It was very late at night and they were able to accommodate us and our small dog. It is an immaculate hotel and very new looking. The rooms were big and had refrigerator and microwave. They had nice toiletries. The room was very clean and no odors. The beds and pillows comfortable. They had a nice complimentary breakfast and also had coffee 24 hours available. They had "goody" bags to give out, also. I would defini... Read more

Fantastic location, pet friendly, clean, we'll run and above average complimentary breakfast. Could not be better! We stop here at least four times a year on our way down to Florida. We have a pet which makes this place especially great, but frankly we'd stop here even without a pet.

This Hampton Inn was great. Clean room, comfortable bed, fluffy towels and great wifi service. The complimentary breakfast was very good with many selections. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great, right off I 95 and close to several restaurants. We liked it so much we booked another stay for our return trip. Definitely would recommend.

The hotel was nice and the location was great for my travel purpose. It's a pet friendly hotel and that is great since I travel for business, a lot. So not having to pay a pet fee is a selling point for me. I would definitely stay here again and if you travel with pets, you may want to check it out.

We were impressed with our one night stay. Very clean, comfortable bed and great pillows. The breakfast is really great, quite a variety and fresh. We were with friends that have dogs and they stay for free. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is one of the nicest Hampton Inn's that I have been to. It is pet friendly and the woman at the desk was so very friendly and sweet. This is a stop I made when heading down to Florida from the northeast. The room was very clean, the bed was more comfortable that mine at home and they have a wonderful free breakfast with sausage, waffles, eggs, omelets, a variety of cereals, yogurt, juices and excellent donuts. The hotel was full when I was there so it must be a popular spot with ... Read more

The overall stay was wonderful room was clean the only recommendation that I do have would be to add sheer blinds or curtains to the rooms to allow for privacy and sunlight enter the room, the staff was very pleasant would more than likely stay there again

We never had a bad experience with the accommodation. Hampton Inn rooms are always clean and have good bathrooms. It seems like all their hotels have the same standard for the room but I am sorry to say not for the breakfast. Some hotels have eggs mixed in with cheese (not this one on this day) which might be fine for most but I am lactose intolerant so I cannot eat this. This hotel served sausage in a sauce that was terrible. Just mush. You will be better off finding a less expensive hotel an... Read more

I picked this location as a stopping point. I needed a pet friendly hotel and wanted something nice that wouldn't break my budget. This Hampton was superb. The facility was great - clean, bright, cheery. They allow pets at no additional charge and had a complimentary breakfast as part of the stay as well that was quite good with lots of variety. Overall this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had and I travel 250 nights a year. I highly recommend this hotel.

Checked in on Halloween, got there at 5 PM, only one clerk on duty. The line kept growing, the young lady was overwhelmed and did not recognize or thank any one for being and HHonors member. I would not have know if she had an idea if she had not offered a snack and water cause I am gold. The room was clean and I liked the body wash as an amenity in the room which I had not seen before in Hampton Inns, it was a nice extra touch. The breakfast was as normal for a Hampton Inn.

GREAT Hotel in Emporia Easy off and on 95 when traveling - nice staff, clean rooms, lots of outlets in the room for charging tech. The Mexican restaurant across the parking lot has a large selection, reasonable prices and killer margarita's (important after 725 miles). This is our new "go to" hotel while going to our southern home - breakfast is served early and is ample with several choices for us of us with celiac.

The accommodations and staff are always great. And travelling with a pet is so nice here: No charge for pets, and the rooms are immaculate. This is the place we always stay when traveling to Florida. The location, nightly rates, and staff make this hotel an excellent choice.

Stayed here last Friday as a layover on my 2 day trip from FL to NY. Right off of I-95 where it intersects with Route 58 which takes you east to the Delmarva. Check in was online. Front desk staff apparently doesn't know how to smile. Same with checkout. Not even a welcome or a thank you for staying. No acknowledgement of status as a Hilton Honors member. Room was nice, clean and bed was comfortable. One complaint. The prime parking spaces on the east side had about a dozen spaces block... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn Emporia on a trip from Pa to SC. We have stayed there before and have always been pleased. This time, the room was just OK. The couch was dirty and worn. Tiles in the bathroom could have been better. Just an overall look of tiredness. In need of some TLC. On the way back up north, we didn't stay here. Instead we drove up to Petersburg Va and stayed there instead. Please renovate the property. Not up to Hampton Inn status.

This is a nice motel that could be a very good one with a bit better management. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes while trying to make a reservation from my phone. Then, upon arriving, my husband, a Hilton Honors member, waited at the front desk for over 10 minutes for a desk clerk to show up. She explained that she had to take something upstairs to a guest. In addition, there was no soap in the lobby ladies' room. However, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is plentiful and in a very nice s... Read more
