This hotel was acceptable on all levels. Clean room, common areas & updated looking. Staff was efficient but mostly disinterested. Breakfast was the normal Hampton Inn fare. Everything was GOOD a good place to stay on business.

If you have read my reviews, you will notice that the Hampton Inn chain are the "go to" hotels for my family when we travel. I was disappointed in this one. We began our search for a hotel for one night on Trip Advisor while on the road. We tried the Marriott based on the recent review mentioning loud AC units at this property. Booked this location last minute when on a road trip. Was just too tired and running late to make it to Greensboro. First, let me say that the staff and service were wonderful. Very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Top notch. The room was clean (except for the carpet - see.comments below!) and bed was comfortable. Internet & breakfast were both fine. I love pulling in to this Hampton Inn after a long drive. I know everything will be in order and taken care of. The breakfast is solid. The fitness center is small but always in working order. The staff is cheerful and helpful.

Pleasant & professional front desk and cafe staff. Very attentive to my travel teams needs and comfort. Location was good and very close to where we needed to go for our business. My entire team enjoy their stay and it made us prepared for our business We stayed 3 nights and 4 days.

We needed to be close to other family members and this was the best choice. We were welcomed by a very sweet lady who made our long drive perfect with her smile. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was okay, but the toilet was too low and difficult to rise from for someone with bad knees.

They wouldn't allow the first 2 couples to check in even though their names had been provided in advance. We were charged for 2 rooms even though all rooms have receipts from the 3 couples for each of the rooms. We spent half a day chasing all the information down only to have the hotel staff rudely tell us they would do nothing until a credit card was provided for the room they said had not been paid for.

Best hotel and service I've stay at in a long while! Customer service was excellant. Breakfast was very good. The bed was so comfortable I did want to come home to my old bed. I'll be back to this hotel. I was impressed and I stay at hotels a lot .

The room. Was very clean but the air conditioner was broken.. 4 times we went to the desk clerk to let him know .. Finally he told us the hotel was booked for the type of room we had.. I was totally miserable because of the heat! But again the room was clean!!!

This hotel isn't up to brand standards. The hotel is showing it's age. Rooms have unpleasant odors. The second room they gave me smelled like cigarette smoke. I realized that it was worth the trouble they probably all have some bad odor. Breakfast area is tiny. Not enough room to seat all guest at breakfast had to wait for people to move before you could get your breakfast. I won't stay here again. There's a Holiday Inn Express across the street. I'll try there next time.

I stayed at the Hampton this time since I am a gold member with Hilton Honors. However, in comparison to the Marriott located in the same vicinity the Marriott is the better choice. The room I had was a room with a whirlpool yet after filling the tub found out it was not in working order. Wish someone had advised me it did not work. Breakfast was ok and room clean yet a little worn. I will definitely go up the street to the Courtyard Marriott on my next visit to Danville.

Not bad, not good, typical ha ton inn experience. Very nice pool area and big room on the plus side. On the negative side, Internet is slow and breakfast is ok at best. Staff was helpful and nice workout room is available. Plenty of chai restaurant recluse by at the local mall.

I travel a lot for work (diamond elite today) and needed a place to stay while. In Danville. This Hampton is old style, including no automatic doors. Front desk person was excellent and helpful with recommendations for dinner. Very friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable but a/ c had some issues. All in all okay for a place to stay, albeit a tad pricey for what you get.

In this world of microwave service, sometimes the personal touch gets lost in the mix. This hotel is a refreshing option for those like myself that travel for business and get little time to enjoy the room. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds. I'm booking for next month now!

We spent one night as we were on a road trip with friends. I booked it from my cell phone about an hour before we arrived. The place was clean, they were ready for us and it was a pleasant stay. This hotel is always kept impeccably clean, so there is never a worry about mildew, bedbugs, dirty corners, etc.? It also comes complete with the most friendly, respectful, snd courteous staff you'll ever encounter. I highly recommend if you're in the area.

If you need flexibility in your travel plans, this Hampton is not the place to make a reservation. They would not allow any change to a reservation on the day of the stay without charging us for the full night stay even when we requested to change to another Hampton property. I originally looked online when looking for a hotel and the Hampton Inn looked like a good option. Let me begin by saying that the staff are the best. They are friendly, helpful. Frankly, they deserve a nicer hotel in which to work. The hotel itself needs some work. Our room was just average, and the furniture was old looking and outdated. My husband and I recently stayed here and had a nice stay. The staff was exceptional! They young lady at the front desk was very helpful with a suggestion for somewhere to eat. I was very pleased with the staff. Often when you are at a hotel or restaurant you hear the staff complaining to each other about others, guests, or their jobs. This is an older, basic Hampton, but it is in good repair and kept very clean. Breakfast is what you expect at a Hampton, which is good. It seemed the property holds itself to a higher standard of maintenance than some I've stayed in. Quiet. Family place, so there are children, but no problems with overly rambunctious behavior.

Danville is a small town but the hotel provided everything I needed for this stay. The location was convenient to getting to restaurants and the downtown area. And all the staff members greeted me with a smile and an offer to assist in anything I might need. It was a get-away to meet friends and I'm glad we selected this hotel.

Although the beds are very comfortable as is typical of other Hampton Inns the quality of the other hotel features do not measure up to what you expect when you stay at this brand of hotel. The rooms need to be updated and additional staff is needed to work the breakfast area.

It was a very good hotel...we had no issues. The grandchildren went swimming in outside pool _ water was clean and dry towels were available near the pool. Hot breakfast both morning, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, omelet and pastries.

Nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Limited hot breakfast compared to other Hampton Inns I've stayed at in recent months. There were a few people who wanted waffles but batter dispenser was empty.

This room was outdated and small compared to other Hampton Inns that I have stayed in. It was reasonably clean. The mattresses were older and not as comfortable. They have an outdoor pool across the parking lot. The breakfast is the same as at any Hampton inn.

This was our second visit to Hampton in Danville. Both were for multiple nights. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times- including providing a roll out bed at 10 pm one night for our daughter, who we were visiting, when she decided to stay with us. Stayed recently on a business trip to the area. The rates were reasonable, and the staff very accommodating. The room was nicely appointed and the bed very comfortable. Wifi worked at about the same speed as most Hilton properties. I will try to stay here again next time I am in the area.

I have stayed here before and it is not a bad hotel, it is a little bit older (but well maintained). I wish they would update it or start fresh in Danville. However it is the only Hilton chain within 15 miles or so of downtown.

Normally its a toss up between Courtyard and Hampton Inn. I should have stayed at the Courtyard. This by far was one of the worse Hampton Inn's I've stayed in. Temperature in hallway was 97.5 degrees. There is a vent near the elevator, it was blowing air with temp of 107 degrees!!!...and when I complained to the front desk "Barbie"...she looked at me as if I was crazy...

For the price it is a great value. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the hotel was at a good location to food and shopping. Overall I was pleased with the stay. I would stay there again and recommend it to others who may stay in the area

The Hampton Inn is exactly what you would expect in with this chain. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the rate was as expected. There were a few hiccups: the air conditioning was out on the third floor which made it like a sauna going to and from your room and there were no cookies (:(). However, The stay was made much better by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They were all superb! Overall I would recommend a stay.

I stayed here for a week due to work instead of the Marriot next door but I regretted it. Although I had one of the larger rooms, it was very old, the couch had stains, and the TV was clear across the room form my king size bed - which can be challenging. First time staying at this location. We were in town attending the Martisnville Nascar race and we had stayed at another chain for years and had grown tired of the hotel since owner/mgmt. doesn't seem to care about upkeep but according to the prices the think it is 5 star..So this was a nice switch, a really nice switch!!

No issues as room was clean and comfortable, Staff was helpful upon late arrival ! Exercise room could use updating or try to offer a discounted price at a local gym for guests. Breakfast area had no issues, though personnel could not be located to restock certain breakfast items during certain times of morning. (3 day stay)

On Thanksgiving weekend, booking weeks in advance and having received an email confirmation and pre check in as a Hilton Honors member, my family arrived with no rooms for us! While they did find rooms, they were not the ones I booked. I had to share a double bed with my 6'5" husband, as the king bed room I reserved was no longer available. I have stayed here many many times. But will not again. Holiday inn express is right across the street.
