Was in town for VT graduation. Place was spotless, breakfast bar was fresh. Nothing stale or dried out here! Coffee was always fresh. We had a double King bed room. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. I was out 5 seconds after I hit the pillow Staff was super nice and very accommodating. They knew where the best food was, anything you wanted to know, they had information or personal experience The Lounge area had a huge TV and enough room to observe a heated game of cards All in all , an awe... The hotel is well run. The staff is good natured and accommodating. I have stayed at nearly every hotel in the area, this is the place to stay in Blacksburg. Our room was excellent, as was the mattress. It is centrally located and eating establishments and shopping surround the facility. An excellent choice for a great stay in Blacksburg.

When traveling I always use Hampton Inns because I have come to trust the consistent cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of the hotel staff. I haven't found this to be the case with other chains. The breakfast selection is good and plentiful. I do hope they transition into having pillow top mattresses in all hotels.

As I told the front desk staff, we stay at a lot of hotels, and we've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inn. This one nailed it, with attention to detail. The room was big, with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom had 2 extra towel hooks. Don't you hate hanging your towels across chair backs and over the door because there is NOWHERE else! the other frequent frustration I encounter is finding an outlet to charge my phone, kindle, whatever. This room had a small unit on the bedside table with 3 outlets... Read more

We stayed here with our German Shepherd for one night on our way home. It was clean and the staff was efficient. Most importantly, my husband has a bad back and the mattress was of good quality and allowed him to have a good night's sleep followed by a pain free morning. We also liked that there was ample space to walk our dog after a long day in the car. We will definitely stay here again when traveling in this area.

We found ourselves traveling with our two dogs and were glad to find the Hampton Inn - Christiansburg. It is a very clean, family oriented hotel, offering free breakfast. Many people, like us, had pets - so this seems to be a known destination for people traveling with their dogs and cats. Despite that, the room and grounds were meticulous and odor free. Would stay here again.

First time I stayed at a Hampton Inn and will most definitely be my last. The bed and pillows were terrible. The bed was springy and I can't even describe the pillows. The sheets and comforter repeatedly fell off the bed. On the upside of this review, the breakfast was excellent (with waffles), the staff were terrific and efficient, the hotel was very clean and updated. Close to shopping and restaurants. I would rate them as "excellent" if they would get a better mattress.
