This was the second time we have visited the Hampton Inn in Chincoteague. Both times were excellent. This time we were staying 5 days and checked in early on a Thursday afternoon. Check-in ,with Evie at the desk, went without a hitch. She was friendly, efficient, and made things go so smoothly. The room was up to Hampton's exacting standards and was very clean and comfortable. We have stayed in many hotels in the Hilton chain, but this is our favorite by far. It is spanking clean, has a beautiful location, and relaxing atmosphere. The thing that makes this hotel special, is its people. Everyone you encounter, from those at the desk to those who keep everything shipshape, to the Manager, is friendly and helpful. They are genuine in their interest. We can't wait to return.

Stayed there twice in 2015 and loved it both times. The breakfast was wonderful and the dining area so nice. So many places to walk to and drive to close by. This the nicest Hampton I have ever stayed in. The staff only made the hotel better. Every one of the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located near the downtown area and the road to the Assateague Wild Life Preserve. There are plenty of very good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and a short drive away. And of course, it is close to Mr. Whippy's ice cream parlor!

We had stayed at the Hampton several years ago and had fond memories of our stay. We decided to try it again and were happy we did. It offers nice rooms and is well maintained. The location is hard to beat. Bay front with a nice outside dock area. Sunset is a great time to enjoy a beverage on the dock. The free breakfast is above average with fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage etc. There is an indoor pool. The staff were very nice.

They won "Best Hampton Inn" from Hilton, and you will see why. It is our place of choice in Chincoteague, hands down. It is right off the bridge into town, and is walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Free parking, of course. Easy access to the road to the Refuge, ponies, the lighthouse, the beach, hiking, and great photos just waiting for you to take them.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Not only did they let us check in early (10am), it was super beautiful. The staff was so friendly, the room was clean, and plenty big enough for our family of 3. For a wonderful time in Chicoteague, VA., consider a stay at the Hampton Hotel. The inn is superior and has plenty of extra pluses, such as an excellent breakfast selection that includes waffels, bacon, eggs, yogurt, a variety of cereals, fruits, and beverages. We stayed in a waterfront room with two older kids. The room was extremely spacious and clean. The pool was warm and the kids spent a lot of time there. Spent the first evening on the deck feeding seagulls, watching a bald eagle, and watching the sunset - simply breathtaking!
