There are some great restaurants in the area, including the highly recommended Carmello`s of Charlottesville. They serve northern Italian fare, and have many wonderful reviews for their service and quality of food. This restaurant is more on the pricey side.  For a more casual dining experience, try the Cookout Restaurant, where you will find an assortment of fast food items, from hotdogs to burgers to a bacon-cheese enchilada.
