My family and I had a wonderful stay at this TownePlace Suites Chantilly Dulles South. Our room was a two-bedroom (Queen) suite, which was ample space for our 3 generation family. The living room was appropriately separated, and the bathroom and sink were also in spaces of their own. I was deciding between a four or five star rating (since a 4.5 stars was not an option), but the incident that bumped it to five stars was the breakfast experience, which was great in terms of food and service. ... We were not impressed with this hotel. If you need a place to crash and get out this will do. Getting the temperature in the room to adjust was a little of a task. There was a slight order in the room, Thank goodness we carry Lysol when we travel.

We only stayed one night, but the bed was comfortable, the room spacious and clean, the breakfast okay, the staff very courteous and friendly. The only downside was the lack of wall insulation ... We could hear our neighbors tv all night long. More insulation would have given this place a 5 out of 5.

My son and I stayed here while in the area for a few days. The property is a bit old, but reasonably comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when in the area.

This hotel is a few minutes away for Air and Space museum, which I think it is the best Air and Space Museum. Suites have sofa bed and a queen bed and it is great for the family. As most TownePlace, free parking and hot breakfast. seasonal pool. Nice people there.

Great location. Had a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen. Lots of space. Pool wasn't open yet--but I saw other pools at other hotels open. Wonder if there was an issue. Our suite needed a little maintenance- but nothing major. The breakfast was ok--same thing every day. Although I'm sure I saw different cereals in the kitchen! The sitting area for breakfast is small--so get there early. Also in order to get a good rate you must stay 5 nights. Only one elevator--so if you don't like to walk r... Read more

My son and stayed there during a recent visit to DC. The suite was very comfortable for what we needed it for and it was very close to shopping and amenities. The room has a kitchenette with dishes, etc. which was convenient. The only complaint I had was that we were on the second floor and we could hear the people above us walking around until very late at night. We had to get up early in the morning, which made it frustrating. Had I realized this, I would have requested a top floor suite so ... Read more

I have been here a couple of times for extended stays for work. The breakfast is not much to talk about. Only major complaint, the Wifi is the terrible and slow. The front desk people have been helpful. But the 5 stars goes to the room service personnel. These people work so hard and are the nicest people. In particular, Gloria Maribel Ruiz has been the best! Please give her recondition for her excellent daily service.

the TownPlace Suites in Chantilly has been my 200 night a year rest stop for the past several years. The building itself has a few minor issues that need work, but they are actively working year round to keep the facility nice and functioning. The space available to me in the 2-bedroom is a huge plus, as is the full kitchen. The hotel is very convenient to the local area, with lots of amenities near - from grocery to shopping to local restaurants (as well as larger chain ones). The staff ther... Read more

The first picture you see on the web site is a beautiful swimming pool - that has a tarp over it and a padlocked gate when you pull up. When I was at the front desk a regular customer added it has been closed since Labor Day 2015 and there are plans to "fill it in". Why show a picture of something that isn't there - SINCE LABOR DAY - on your website? Was traveling with our 8 year old grandson who was significantly disappointed. Had to drive to the Courtyard and Residence Inn to use their pool.... Read more

Using TownPlace Suites Chantilly as a home base for an extended period. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. They are well equipped with a full kitchen (Stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave) and serving pieces for 4. The front desk staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Housekeeping, especially Gloria Pineda, is attentive to detail and I find my room in great condition when I return from work each evening. TownPlace has a great price point, especially for long-term commitments. F... Read more

Other then the pool not open, we really liked our suite. We didnt get off to a great start with the level of customer service because we had requested a different room then we got and they wouldnt change it. This was a great location to stay out of the expensive area in DC. I would suggest staying here and hope they get the pool fixed.

We were lucky enough to secure a room at the neighboring Residence Inn and checked out as quickly as we checked in. Rooms are old and dingy, clearly in need of an update. The hallways were dark and scary. The doors which were labeled as requiring a key card to enter were clearly broken/unlocked. The pool was pad locked and closed..permanently. I would not have felt safe staying here. Run...don't walk to the Residence Inn (also a Marriott property). It is a night and day difference.

I had a five night visit in the area. The room was clean and everything worked fine. Wifi coverage and operation was very good. This was a two bedroom unit which was nice because I had a lot of stuff with me on this particular trip. Front desk staff members were always nice and helpful. Breakfast was available at no charge each day but I stocked the fridge for the majority of my stay. One item that could use some attention is the access door on the east end of the second building. It does not ... Read more

We have the pleasure of staying at this hotel at least 2-3 a month. We are elite Marriott customers and I must stay that by far this location has been the best accommodation for us and our busy 5 year old. From the easy check in process to the assistance of all the staff, I must stay that we always have a great time here. I'd like to personally thank Tawny, Jeff, Wilson, Kenny, Audrey, Emily and Renee for always helping us with every single request we have (and we have many). I cannot think ... Read more

Towneplace Suites is quickly becoming my favorite MARRIOTT economy brand. This s property is in the standard configuration with familiar studios, one room and two bedroom suites. There is a well equipped kitchens and plenty of storage and work space for longer stays. The location is within an office park but there are plenty of restaurants of various cuisines nearby. The property is in the landing path of Dulles airport but surprisingly the rooms are quiet. (See picture) The only problem is this... Read more

For the price, this place is definitely the best value for what you get. It doesn't have all the frills the expensive places have, but it's like half the price. It has a kitchen that allows you to cook like you're at home. And if you don't want to cook, you're close to a lot of restaurants. Room is definitely big enough and you have a desk many times for your computer. If you have a need, the employees will work to satisfy it. Breakfast isn't just muffins and bagels. You can eggs, oatmeal,... Read more

Am a Marriott Platinum Elite member for the 7th year now. Used to stay at this property a lot especially on points. Nice staff, great value for points, good and clean hotel with excellent TV channels. Returned back after a long time, unfortunately, I arrived early in the morning, very tired and I was willing to wait, as I do, when the front desk asks because I trust and I value the quality and the expertise of Marriott brand staff, high or low. Renee, the auditor, made my visit memorab... Read more
