Great restaurant, nicely furnished, helpful staff, good cookies and coffee, breakfast cooked to order - had omelets, bacon, juice, pancakes. Regular price is 10.95$ but if HH gold can receive for free. Great value.

I always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn when traveling to Abingdon, VA. Even though they have adequate hotels in Abingdon, the Hilton Garden Inn in Bristol is superior for less cost than the Abingdon hotels. And it is just down the road from everything: restaurants, movies, shopping, etc.

This Hilton Garden was a really nice hotel for our family gathering. There was a smell of mildew in both rooms but the room appeared very clean. I would suggest the hotel to friends. The city was beautiful and inviting. The landscaping was excellent too.

Stayed there after a long day of driving. Kind of an odd place for a hotel like this. On one hand it is very nice, clean and well appointed. I'm not sure the model works in Bristol, a full restaurant and bar at an exit of I-81 with plenty of other locations like Outback. The night we stayed there was one lonely looking bartender. It is also arguably a little pricey for the location, especially since it does not include breakfast, in contrast to other quality chain hotels around it. If you s... Read more

Treated like the "tired puppies" we felt as though we were. Lovely room, great staff, convenient location with a majestic view! Literally a few steps from an also new Cracker Barrel with a traditional breakfast more reasonable than the hotel buffet.

When we can, when choosing from the Hilton brand hotels, we opt for a Hilton Garden Inn. Why? The beds are consistently very comfortable and the breakfast is great. This hotel met the mark on both counts. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean especially the bathroom. Sparkling clean. That is what I want in a hotel. My only issue was that the bathroom door would not stay open making it very hot inside. I used the iron to prop the door open- old school!

It was great to be in a Hotel that didn't look worn and tattered. Decor in rooms, lobby, etc. was really nice. The bar was a bit pricey but not a big surprise for that. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant but I heard it was good! They had complimentary coffee all day.

Hotel was located right next to a Cracker Barrel. It was secluded but close to interstate 81. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the lobby. There cable service is a little lame. I would have like to have seen satellite tv. But other than that I had a great stay!!!

Lovely, brand new hotel on top of a hill overlooking much of bristol and the interstate. Plenty of parking, check in was a breeze and the room was clean, well maintained with two queen beds, large tv, table, fridge and microwave. Despite the proximity to the interstate, little road noise reached our window (facing the parking lot rather than the interstate). Linen was well maintained, plenty of hot water and toiletries. Pool on site (we didn't use). Hotel bar with fairly good wine list and a fe... Read more

Well worth a stay at this hotel if you are passing through or visiting the area. On our way to Nashville we were forced off the road due to tiredness and usually in such situations you get a lousy late night reception and a crappy room. This was not the case at Hilton Garden Inn Abingdon VA.....amazing staff and great rooms for the price.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this location. We rented two rooms as we are a large family. The only issue was the cleanliness of the rooms. We were moved several times due to negligence on the part of the housekeeping staff. However, we were given free breakfast vouchers for the following morning and it was a big hit with the whole family. Make sure to get a room away from the main highway as it is VERY loud at night.

I stayed for one night. This is a new hotel. I believe about 15 months old so fresh paint and new decorations still look great. I had salmon for dinner which was really good but the lava chocolate cake was just ok. I walked next door to the Cracker Barrel for breakfast. The sunset over the mountains with a light breeze was the best part of my stay.

Stayed on a weeknight. Our son has some dietary restrictions. Waitress/manager of the restaurant in the hotel was outstanding. Regarding his special requests, her response was, "If we've got the ingredients, we will be very happy to make you whatever you want." Now that is SERVICE!

The rooms are very nice and clean. Hotel has a nice pool and fitness center. It does not have a complimentary breakfast - it is a flat price, which is an issue if you just want a bagel or something. Cracker Barrel is next door though. Overall, I was very pleased and would stay here again.

Just far enough off the road to not hear the traffic, but close enough to quickly hot the road or town with ease. Hotel and staff always well dressed and clean. I have stayed here multiple times and each time you can tell the staff keeps improving on its services but has never been below the bar of expectation.

We needed a hotel in Bristol because we didnâ??t want to drive all the way to Gatlinburg. We selected this hotel because it was new. Great service, clean, bright rooms, and a great made-to-order breakfast. Only complaint was the non-breathing plastic-threaded bedspreads that seem to be popular in these Hilton value hotels. They're hot and uncomfortable. Ask for a blanket instead, and it's a good experience. Other than that, a great hotel.

This hotel is very convenient to Interstate 81 and also the Bristol Motor Speedway. The night we stayed (Thursday), the hotel was very quiet. The room (#101) was OK but too close to the front desk. The breakfast was very good and the chef brought our food to us and then checked back to make sure it was OK.

While the lobby & room were nice enough, the hotel is illuminated by lighting designed to allow the building to appear as a beacon on a hill to motorists passing by on I-81.
