Room was clean. Requested an extra blanket but clerk had none nor a key to the linen room. Breakfast was OK.

This is a good place to stop to and from FL with east access from I 95. This is a very basic option, no frills with a nice price. My room was quite spacious and clean. I will probably check in again on my return north.

The absolute worst ever ! From check in on. The room was absolutely disgusting I wouldn't even shower there. You could barely see out the windows they were so dirty. I know they don't care about reviews but if You read this sleep in Your car not the room

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a cheap clean room near Kings Dominion, the Days Inn isn't bad. The breakfast was sparse, but it is in walking distance of Waffle House, so we opted for that.

0 stars!!!! This was one of, if not, THE WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. When entering there was a smell of cleaner/smoke/musty mixed together. Toilet was dirty with poop and pee stains, walls were stained in the entire hotel with who knows what, the water in our shower did not go down, there was blood on a (supposedly) clean towel, our phone did not work, free breakfast is a joke, and when leaving and making sure we got everything out we found someone else's underwear under the bed. OH MY GOD!... Read more

Very very dirty. Not large truck / trailer friendly. Very difficult to maneuver a turn around with uhaul and trailer. Just discussing overall. So dirty. Slept on our own sheets over their bedding and left them there in fear of bringing something gross home on them.

If you set your expectations appropriately you will not be disappointed. The location is convenient and the bed and pillows okay, the shower adequate and the room setup with all of the necessities. The quality is equal to the rates. With this said, you should be prepared.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years but I believe it's my last time staying. We saw a roach in the bathroom floor on the first night we checked in and we killed it without saying nothing to the front desk plus next to the bed a child left one sandal behind, how well did they cleaned. Plus on the second night, we opened the door and there where two roaches on top of the bed, now that's when we complained and they gave us another room but the bathroom walls had cracks all over. the room wasn't bad. it was clean. you can tell its an older hotel. free breakfast wasn't much to choose from, decides to pass on it. just needed a roomful the night while traveling. it would have been helpful to have a list of channels for the TV. couldn't find something to watch.

The couch in our room was stained and there wasnt much information about the internet access. However the staff member who checked us in was sweet and helpful. On our second n8ght there our card wouldnt work in our door and when i went down to have it fixed the staff member on duty was abrupt and rude. Overall the stay was acceptable for the price but not positively memerable.

Unexpected and poor appearance of guest room. Walls and floor badly stained, Rowell rack came down from reusable and worn out screw holes, toilet and sink clogged on each drain and flush, cable jack dismounted from wall and just hanging down, terrible tv picture quality, breakfast was not appealing. I will never stay here again. However, the front desk staff was very friendly and courteous.

When you choose the cheapest place with free breakfast, you can't expect a lot. The "continental breakfast" was toast (with jelly and peanut butter), flake cereal, oatmeal, bananas, milk, coffee and juice (apple and orange). The room was clean, the tv worked. The floor of the tub could have been a bit cleaner, but wasn't awful.

Everyone that I encountered was very nice. The location right off of Interstate 95 was great and food and gas was close by. The room was clean, but it definitely could use some updating.

The staff were friendly. Had a room on the 1st floor right outside the pool. The interior of the room is old, worn-out and dated; desperately in need of a major renovation or tear-down and rebuild. The door to the bathroom had several large poorly patched areas; however, the bathroom was clean and tidy with a curved shower curtain rod and a nice new shower curtain. The sink filled up with water each time it was used and would slowly drain, very inconvenient. The bed was acceptably comfortable. V... Read more

I enjoyed this hotel very much until midnight when chirping sounds appeared. We spent a long time searching for a cricket and were very tired and on the move travelling without a bit of sleep. When I told the day clerk she said she would mention it to the maintenance man which was of no help at all to us. I think as a courtesy she could have offered us a discount at our next stop. We had no idea that smoke alarms did this. Otherwise the accommodate was very nice.

This was a very bad Motel. The rooms were really old and not well maintained. The room smelled when we arrived and it still smelled when we left. The lady at the desk was nice and took good care of us. The breakfast was adequate, but far from being good.

I'd driven as far as I could and absolutely had to lay my head down, or end up road kill. I have no complaints...! I pulled into a gas station, used the app to find a close by hotel, the price was right, so I booked it. Continental breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. Overall, if you find yourself in Ashland, right off of exit 1 on i95, you won't be making a mistake by choosing this motel. Clean, up to date, and reasonably priced.

I didn't get to the hotel until 1am after driving 8 hours and the lady checking me said I ordered a smoking room when I thought I ordered a nonsmoking she questioned me didn't they go over this with you earlier when you called I said no and she proceeded to tell me it would be difficult to changes rooms because she would have to move the rolling bed. So I was tired and said I just want somewhere to sleep and stuck with the smoking room which was clean. Also this hotel does a preauthorize charge ... Read more

Arrived late. Drug deals took place in the backside while we were checking in to the hotel. Room smelled like urine, sheets not very clean, gang of kids outside our door hanging out at 1:30 in the morning. It was a very bad experience overall. Not what I expected or am used to from a Days Inn.

There was so much hair in that room. We didn't take a shower because there was so much hair in the tub. When my son turned on the sink to brush his teeth, the sink was clogged and hair filled the sink! Disgusting! I was leary to sleep in the bed. Even the receiver end of the phone was nasty. Also filled with freaking hair! Cheap hotel but won't stay there again!

Needed a room for the night, as I was on my way down south. I trust the Days Inn brand. This property was along the way. Check in was short and efficient. Room was clean and not funny smelling. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Checkout was jsut as efficient. I love it when a plan comes together. See you on the way back.
