[1] Follow the Dulles Access Road towards Washington, DC to Route 66 East.
[2] Once you are on Route 66, follow this to exit 73 for Rosslyn/Key Bridge.
[3] Continue straight to the second light and make a right on North Fort Myer Drive.
[4] Follow North Fort Myer Drive through an underpass and then over a bridge, which crosses Route 50.
[5] DO NOT EXIT ROUTE 50.
[6] Continue straight and take the next right onto Arlington Boulevard.

"I think many people's comments sum up our stay very well. It is an older apartment building converted to a hotel. The rooms are fairly spacious, with a decent little full kitchen. Checkin and out was quick and painless, with a pleasant staff. The lobby is quite nice. We did not pay for a continental breakfast, but also could not figure out where they do that. We had some coffee from the coffee/tea set up in the lobby. The rooms could use some remodeling, and the furnishings are not super up to date, but everything was clean and nice. We liked the convenience to the Metro, but that is something of a hike up the hill. After dinner, just a few blocks away, we opted for a cab to get back to the hotel rather than walk it in the dark (through a neighborhood and over the highway footbridge). In the daytime we felt perfectly safe, just not sure at night. It was mildly irritating that the shuttle does not run on weekends, I think they focus on a lot of business travelers and provide that service for them on the weekdays only. We used the DC bike system, and there are several kiosks nearby. Note to cyclists: the bike path from Arlington Cemetery to the hotel is pitch black at night - very exciting indeed. The pool is summer time only. For a convenient inexpensive stay in DC/Georgetown this is a decent place, no frills and nothing super fancy. This will appeal to people for the value. We were a little concerned by the bed - and what appeared to be a noticeable sag, but it slept okay. We will stay again. I would not recommend it for a higher end romantic getaway, it has none of that feel or atmosphere. It would be nice if there were king beds available."

"We chose this because it was close to the Mall and metro, and for the same price as a regular room at any other hotel we booked a 1BR suite. The manager cleared up a minor confusion about the booking quickly and we enjoyed the stay. The shuttle to the metro stop was more frequent than I expected, the room was huge, and the a/c unit while not quiet was no louder than in many other mid-range hotels I've stayed in. The staff were quite helpful regarding nearby stores and services."

"bad experience-we had a room reserved with 2 queen beds,upon check in they told us they have upgrade us and gave us a room with 2 double beds.so much for the upgrade.the airconditioner in the room was blating loud,we could not sleep all nite till we shut of the air.and on a sunday morning their breakfast is open till 10am.that was unusual because most hotels on sun serve breakfast till much later.so we lost our breakfast too.the staff was not pleasant at all.i will never again stay at that hotel again."

"My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised when we checked into The Virginian Suites for our weekend visit to explore DC. A nice 7-10 minute walk to the metro eliminates the need for a car and the hotel itself was very clean with great service and knowledgable reccomedations from the front desk. We had a great view from the 8the floor, a full kitchen with plates, wine glasses, etc and and oven that worked great to heat up our leftovers. Plenty of space, comfortable bed, nice TV, and again a great view and location. We will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was hard to find, but once there, we were very pleased. There is no pool (except summer) and no breakfast provided. Also, we were disappointed that we had to pay to park in the hotel lot...we have never had to do that before.
Their list of directions is not totally accurate. They said only 15 minutes to walk to Arlington Cemetery, but that was not nearly long enough, and when we got there, it was to a back gate which was locked. It was another 15-30 minutes to actually get inside. They give directions to get to the Metro, but none to get back to the hotel, and we were wandering around totally lost, late at night.

The room was nice, most of the personell were friendly, but I did have a problem understanding the foreign accent of one of them. The location close to the Metro was good. It was great having a kitchen so we could fix our own breakfast."

"I feel I got a good deal, I wasn't looking for something luxurious or overboard. The studio suite was very spacious, if I more people were with me I could've easily accommodated more people inside. Only thing I didn't like is that the second night I decided to stay they charged me a higher rate. The lady serving breakfast as of 07-16-12 from Nepal was very nice to us.
