I've been traveling to the Washington, DC area a lot recently and have had a variety of hotel experiences before I was able to get repeating reservations at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City. I've had about six stays, with each stay being four nights. As others have said, it's an easy place to stay and it is an oasis of calm in a pretty busy part of the DC Metro area. I've had a few minor issues during my stays and each time I have taken the time to address the issue to the staff, it has b... Read more

Another excellent stay at a Ritz-Carlton. Me and my family had a wonderful stay thanks to the exceptional staff and service at this hotel. Without a doubt some of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. The hotel is very clean and you can tell by the attention to detail that they care about the guests and the hotel. Check in was a pleasure and easy. Our room was on the club level and it was very spacious and well maintained. The Club Level was amazing. Plenty of snacks... Read more

This is our second time staying at the Ritz in Pentagon City. We came for my brother's graduation at Georgetown and stayed the weekend so we could tour DC a bit. We wanted a place that was a good location to both, kid friendly, transportation friendly (though we had a car) and had an indoor pool. Pros: FANTASTIC hospitality. Really easy check-in. Genuine smiles all around. I came with my 4 year old, and my mother and I'm pregnant so we needed somewhere that was going to be great for all of us. ... Read more

There wasn't pool access during the day (indoor pool was open from 7am-9am and 430pm-9pm) so if you're going to relax, I'd suggest the Marriott since that is where they offered to let me go. I think they should probably upgrade their mattresses too, I slept like crap on theirs. Other than that it seemed elegant, their Fyve restaurant was decent. Very friendly bell boys/valet.

Had a week's worth of business in Arlington and as my preferred hotel was booked solid already, I decided to give this hotel a go. The staff was attentive, the room on the 11th floor was quiet, the temperature in the room was constant throughout the night, and the bed was very comfortable. I woke up each morning rested and ready for the day. That in itself, was a major contributor to a successful week!

Everything from the staff (most important), the rooms, the extra little snacks/drinks in the lobby, the location and even the valet service was beyond exceptional. I stayed here for a wedding 16 years ago and recently returned for a 2 night stay. The location is nice if you want to stay near the Pentagon or Reagan National. This is not the most luxurious Ritz but the price reflects that. It is nice to have Metro and Mall access. The service is very nice and for that reason I would go back.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Classy, comfortable, civilized and elegant come to mind. Yes it is not as modern as many hotels (the in-room safe uses a key??) but that just adds to the charm. From the cookies and infused water in the lobby to the ability to walk 50 yards to the Metro, to the doorway to the mall, it has everything you need. The icing on the cake however is the staff. This Ritz Carlton was a good value for the weekend package rate which included breakfast and valet parking. The location of the hotel is convenient if you are interested in local places in Arlington. We stayed here the end of June 2016. The service was impeccable. The kids loved the pool. Lots of restaurants and a mall right next door. We found that for a family of four it was actually cheaper, and more convenient, to Uber everywhere rather than take the metro.

Wonderful experience and thoughtful service. All aspects of our stay were excellent. The turn down service was a great touch and the concierge was very knowledgable and helpful. The room was large and spacious.
