This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations as I got a fantastic room with a great view. I came to DC with a car and the Sheraton Pentagon City came up in a Groupon ad for $89. It was available for the same price on other sites but when I checked in right at 3 I found out that the Groupon package adds free parking (normally $24 a night) and free in-room wifi (I think $12 or $13). So it is worth booking through Groupon to get that extra value. I also thought I might get a lesser room because of G... Read more

My first trip to DC, and picking this hotel helped make it an enjoyable experience. Hotel provides free shuttle service from and to airport and allowed us to store our luggage with them while we enjoyed our final day touring the city. The shuttle also took us to the metro station where we jumped off to all our trips into the city. Restaurants and CVS were right across from the Metro station which was also located right by a mall, so everything was very convenient. The hotel had a view of the... Read more

This is an older property that is not very updated; however, it is clean and well maintained so I had no issue with that. What I did have an issue with is the outrageous prices they charge in the business center. When I checked in I asked how much printing cost and they told me it was free so I decided to skip my FedEx Kinkos run, hit the hay, and wake up early to print for my meeting. Big mistake. Only the first five pages of printing at the Sheraton are free, anything after that is FORTY cen... Read more

Stayed here for a little over a week. The hotel is not bad, they have a nice bar, nice restaurant, and a event center that seems to be always busy. The staff was very helpful (for the most part, with the exception of one or two) and the rooms were great with a great view to the Air Force memorial and the Pentagon. The only thing about this hotel that I did not like was the location. It sits right by the freeway and the neighborhood around it is questionable. If you are looking to walk somew... Read more

I can't think of a better hotel to stay in over the Memorial Day weekend. We checked out today after an exceptional stay. The Potomac restaurant was good, the Manager Al is exemplary and carries an above and beyond approach throughout the day. The rooftop pool and sun deck was very enjoyable, the lifeguard Kirt was always attentive, friendly and excellent in keeping the area fresh, clean and every chair with towels. The hotel manager Tony is great. He stopped at nothing to ensure we had a terrif... Read more

I recently ran an event at this hotel and was overall very pleased with my experience. I really wanted to give a shout out to some people who did an amazing job: Rosario and Beatriz in the restaurant were AMAZING! So helpful and always with a smile on their face. Yin with banquets: again, extremely helpful and friendly. He made my job 10x easier. I did have an issue with Henck at the front desk who was rude and unaccommodating when it came to helping our guests with parking. The rest of the fro... Read more

Got a deal for the 2015 Memorial Day weekend and flew to Ronald Reagan airport in Arlington. The hotel provides shuttle TO and FROM the airport as well as TO and FROM the city's trains stations, malls and downtown. This is the best thing about the stay at the hotel. Other than that it has got a gym for the visitors. The parking although is chargeable. But if you are not driving the shuttle takes care for the transportation. The concierge is well behaved and helped all through the stay. Had a ver... Read more

We stayed in this Hotel in May 2016 for 3 Nights during our USA Trip and our stay in Washington DC. As we reached Hotel for Check In at around 04:00 PM, we were Checked In really smooth and fast. There are no bell boys in the Hotel to help you with the luggage but it was fine for us and we did not had any problem with that. We reached our Room on the 11th Floor and found the Room Quite Spacious with a large LED TV and a wonderful view of the Pentagon. The King Bed was large (though it was a Old... Read more

Lovely hotel & friendly, quick service. Nice restaurant & bar in lobby, although a little pricey: $18 approx for a burger w/salad & a sweet tea. Starbucks in lobby: a.m. only. Free airport shuttle w/limited hours. Comfy room & bed, very pretty. Would have liked there to be a mini fridge & microwave.

What a great Hotel! My daughter planned this trip for me so that I could experience DC. This hotel was the icing on the cake. Staff was very accommodating, the view from our room was to die for, the pool and guard was awesome, shuttles and drivers made it easy to get to places, the room was incredible. For a family from KY, we thought we were in heaven! Thank you Sheraton Hotel for making our stay such a pleasant one!!!

OK, I get it. Just because one shells out almost $300 a night for a hotel room that does not necessarily guarantee a pleasant experience. Our stay here was not an unpleasant experience either, although I do think this hotel falls into the 'slightly below average' category. The thing is, not one single employee stepped up to interact with us in any memorable way - you know, to make the hotel feel anything other than ordinary and mundane. Then I realized, 'They don't care.' A room in the DC area ... Read more

In short, this hotel is full of badly managed people and it doesn't live up to the Sheraton logo. Here is a slightly longer version: You wait at the airport for a hotel shuttle that "runs every 30 minutes." One hour later, you see countless hotel shuttles come and go, and finally call to check where your shuttle is. " will be there in five minutes..." About 15 minutes later, the missing shuttle pulls up, the doors open and the driver lets out a greeting in the form of a passive-ag... Read more

The room is good and cleaned, equally important is the price is best offer with the good services . SO I feel so wonderful and enjoy my trip at Washington DC and ash to go again as soon as possible.

We planned a fun weekend for the family and found this hotel and it looked great at first. When we got here though the carpets in the rooms are nasty. Then we went to move the blanket on the bed and saw just how disgusting it was. Can't hide it in a white blanket. Immediately looked at the other bed and same thing. I'm honestly so grossed out from it I will NEVER stay here again!v I was scared for my 6 year old daughter to touch the floor.

My family arrived late at Reagan Airport and decided to stay at this Sheraton because it was close by. Shuttle service was very slow but this was possibly due to it being 11:00pm when we arrived. Upon check-in the elevator didn't work and then our room keys didn't work. There was only one receptionist on duty. My husband spoke to the manager who was standing there but he didn't help. He directed the poor receptionist to leave his desk and assist us. The receptionist deserves a raise and the... Read more

This is an older Sheraton property on the top of a hill overlooking the Pentagon and with good views of the city and Arlington provided you get a good room. The property is fairly old and the design is "classic" let's say. Rooms are clean and they take care of their SPG elite guests. Free parking, Internet, drinks and breakfast. I've never had a bad stay here and if they modernize the hotel a bit it could be tops. Starwood has a lot of properties in the area so I would say if you can get this pl... Read more

The hotel advertises how close it is to tourist sites. But its not close to a metro stop, and you are dependent on a shuttle that they run twice an hour. So we are averaging an hour travel between shuttle and metro to get 5 miles away. Additionally, the hotel has nothing convenient around it. You have to take the shuttle to the Pentagon City metro stop for drug stores, shopping, anything convenient. The staff also tends to give an air of being annoyed at tourists asking about shuttle service an... Read more

We booked this through Priceline, and were initially happy with what we thought we were getting. For some reason, we ended up with a "basement" room, with a window that overlooked the smoking section. We did have access to the hotel tower to look out over the Pentagon, and DC. Our location as convenient to the Pentagon City Metro station, with hotel shuttle or bus., so it was very easy to get to many of the tourist areas of the area. Given poor location, worn condition and excessive pricing of rooms, food and beverage, this hotel is not worth the cost. Hotel is dated in room appearance. Food is average with average to below average service and excessively priced. Alcohol drink prices beyond draft beer are absurdly priced. Room costs with all the extra charges and taxes are close in price to the 5 Star Willard and W hotels in DC. This hotel is away from everything which requires a car or a taxi to get around.

Got this hotel for a great rate as a secret hotel on Hotwire. I wouldn't pay full price for it. Loved the shuttle drivers, they were very helpful. Bathrooms are tiny. No exhaust fans so you smother. The lobby is wonderful, but the rooms are outdated. They need major upgrades not to mention a fan in the bathroom. I love the shuttle being able to take me to pentagon mall and come back in a hour or 30 mins. I wouldn't say housekeeping is all that friendly when you have to call them to correct something.
