I must say this hotel really has it all, at least for what I need on a DC business trip. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, especially for longer stays or solo travelers who need to feel more "at home" than a standard hotel room makes you feel. All the staff I encountered were both friendly and helpful, and I really felt welcome here. The free breakfast buffet is a little small, but perfectly sufficient, and they have a community happy hour in weeknights. Finally, the location is ... Read more

I like Residence Inns. it is comfortable to have extra room and a kitchen to prepare or heat up meals. Even a studio room is more spacious than a hotel room. Some of them are dated, some newer. This property is really nice. The studio room was very reasonable and across the river in Arlington, the rooms are cheaper and the parking is $17.00 instead of the Dupont Circle/Foggy Bottom/West End, $42.00 to $50.00 Close to Metro, great selection of restaurants within a short walk. The front des... Read more

Had a great stay last year with a small group. This year we were less than pleased. The front desk staff (some of them) were very rude to members of our group. We also received complaints from the front desk that could not be corroborated by other members of our group that were on the same hall during the alleged incident. If you are a single business person - cool. Clearly not a good place for families or groups

This hotel was very close to a metro stop making it easy to play tourist. It was clean, reasonably priced, had a wonderful breakfast selection that was included in your stay. WiFi worked. Staff was polite and helpful in answering questions. And they kept my bags my last day there so I could sitesee since my flight wasn't until 10pm.

We stay here because of its terrific location and because it's like being home. The rooms and suites are beautifully furnished with everything you need. All have a fully functioning kitchen. The one bedroom suites have 2 TV's and a pullout couch. Staff is always extremely accommodating. Breakfast is amazing! Food is fresh and wide variety offered. Gym and pool are bonuses. Walk to dozens of restaurants, shopping, Whole Foods, and the metro. On Saturday's, visit the Farmers Market located very... Read more

Very polite and helpful staff who would go the extra mile for the guests and the hotel- I have also seen some of the staff working overtime or coming in to help out outside of their working hours. Convenient location to the metro, clean. If you have a room facing the courtyard, just note that you can sometimes hear people talking in the courtyard from your room.

Back again for my annual 2 week stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, last year the hotel was booked during my meeting time and I stayed at the sister property in Balston. I was glad to be back in the Courthouse area. As usual, the service here was great, the room clean and fresh, and the bed so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning. The wonderful breakfast buffet left me full and satisfied (love those waffles). Since I was last year, there seems to be some carpet/painting upgra... Read more

It was delightful to stay at this hotel! The room was clean and well-appointed, the staff pleasant and accommodating, and the location is very near to a variety of restaurants and the metro. Less than 2 miles away from Arlington Cemetery and the Marine Corps War Memorial.

This hotel is right next to the metro and not a very far metro ride from all the stuff you'd want to see either. We stayed in NOMA in 2014 and it was just as far, if not farther, from all the attractions, and of course we paid twice as much bc we were in DC. The continental breakfast is, hands down, the best continental breakfast I've ever had. They made a slightly different breakfast every morning. The staff is very accommodating and even sweet. They have parking right on site and and even an e... Read more

Located on the same block as the blue line metro station and surrounded by cute dining choices, you really can't beat the location of this hotel. As you'd expect, it offers the usual free hot breakfast and MTW wine and snacks in the evening. There's a nice outdoor spot to eat. The laundry room is spotless and has more machines then are ever fully in use. The staff is genuinely friendly. The kitchenette is fine. No street noise on the cafe side of the building. Everything was clean and updated i... Read more

I am a Marriott member, but lately have been staying at Hilton more often due to work. I have to say that Hilton definitely offers their members more special treatment - there is none of that here... Also, I thought the front desk could have been more friendly. The person we had was very aloof, made it seem like this job was beneath her and I felt like she had better things to do than answer my questions. Loads of opportunity to improve in this space. On the upside- room was nice and the break... Read more

Surrounded by shoppes and restaurants, movie theater and a very safe area included in this clean, lovely stay. Paying for parking is not expected at these rates, but the area seems to dictate this add'l fee at all hotels and stay locations. Definitely not what most class hotels provide to their clients, but oh well.

We used Marriot point for the 2 nights we were there. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. We didn't really use the kitchen. There is a Keurig coffee maker and they provide 2 pos of regular coffee and 2 decaf. They even give you a bag of microwavable popcorn! There is a fill the fridge option if you want groceries. The breakfast was fine--eggs, meat, cereal, waffles, pancakes. Staff was friendly. Loved the patriotic decor for July 4th. Wifi worked well.

This hotel was clean and was in a good location for shopping eating and renting bikes. I liked the room and the breakfast was good. The pool and spa were good the kids enjoyed them a little small but clean. The service was not that good two nights in a row I called for things and did not get them first was ice, which I would have gotten myself if they had an ice machine and buckets. The second night was toilet paper luckily we had two bathrooms In our suite so u used tissues.BUT I was not happy... Read more

This is a great location. The staff was very welcoming to my family and I. They were very helpful in providing us with a great experience. The room was very clean. The room included a fridge, dishwasher, and kitchenette. They also included a hot buffet breakfast, great pool/whirlpool. The hotel also had various themed activities each night which we also enjoyed. The Sales Coordinator, Oscar Lazarte, was excellent in making sure that we were comfortable. Thanks Oscar! I am a big fan of the Residence Inn experience for good reason. Everything that you need to get comfortable is close at hand. The evening mixers are a great way to settle in. There is a plaza just out the back door with everything from bars, barbers, dry cleaners etc... I could go on forever. I thind it is enough to sya this is one of the best stays I have ever experiened

We were very impressed with this hotel. It is convenient for restaurants, shopping and close to a metro stop. 16 minutes from airport. I asked the front desk how old it is and found out just 5 years and this past year went through a full renovation. We will stay here again!

I stayed here for 2 weeks on a work assignment and I have to say that this is a great hotel in a great location. The rooms are your standard 1 and 2 bedroom suites with a kitchen area. Well kept, room was in great condition. There is free breakfast and don't miss the mixer at night. Staff at this location was fantastic, very friendly and helpful at check-in, never failed to see hello when I walked through the lobby. The location of the hotel is an added bonus. Over the past 15 years I've travelled into DC every week for work. I have tried other hotels in the area, but inevitably end up back here because of the great management, friendly and always helpful staff, cleanliness, the absolute PERFECTLY centralized location, the full kitchens and recently renovated rooms (which really wasn't even outdated or needed). Can't beat the location with lots of great restaurants within walking distance, close to the Metro Station and easy to drive to everything fro... Read more

I go to the DC area every month for my work, and I always stay in the Residence Inn - Courthouse whenever I am there. It is a terrific facility in an excellent location for getting around the city on Metro or in a car. The breakfast is great for a freebie, the hotel is updated and super clean, and the staff is the best. It's especially nice when my wife is able to go with me -- we order take out and enjoy a wonderful evening in the room. I really appreciate this "home away from home.

The room was so large, with a kitchen and seating area. We were in for a wedding and the hotel was great for the out of towners. We were able to socialize outside on the patio, and in the lobby. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance. The parking was a hassle but it is par for the course in a downtown area. It would be a great place for a business person in town for a number of days.

It was with anticipation i selected the Residence Inn in Arlington, but from the moment i walked through the doors i knew i was in good hands. Temperatures in Arlington were touching the 100 mark and I'd just been to Arlington. I was hot and tired, the staff handed me a bottle of water (COLD) and from that moment they took over. The location could not have been better, i could walk to dinner (a restaurant the staff recommended), to shop and just walk.

Stayed here for weekend when we visited sites of Washington D. C. The hotel was exactly as advertised clean, beautiful, and convenient to Metro. Parking was extra but very convenient. Breakfast was buffet style and offered many choices. Front desk staff were polite and very helpful. When visiting D.C. I would stay here again.

Most of the higher class hotels prices are quite large if you are on a budget. This hotel is a lot lower in price, minutes away from the Metro, there is an outdoor shopping plaza behind the hotel with a variety of shops. Although they charge for parking your vehicle, the facility keeps your vehicle secure, as well as access to the upper floors. The room was exceptionally clean, the staff was quite friendly, and their breakfast was good. For a long term stay, this is certainly where I would r... Read more

I normally stay at crystal city Marriott, but they changed to a six star, so no discount. Picked this location after some reviews. found out it was better than crystal city, Great hotel, maintained, rooms are great, pus full size kitchen if you want to cook, Whole food about two blocks away. The metro stop I read in reviews is just about half block away. You walk out the back door, through the court mall, plenty of cops/security around, down the escalator and short walk to the turnstiles. G... Read more
