We had a very nice stay here. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. Very friendly and knowledgeable too. This hotel is convenient and easily accessible to the Rossalyn Metro station which in turn is easily accessible to all DC and Arlington attractions. The amenities including breakfast, housekeeping, evening meet and greet from Monday to Wednesday, Laundry services etc is top notch and very helpful when you are away from home on vacation for an extended period. I will stay at this hotel again. The staff were way above exceptional! The room was very nice, I especially liked that I could adjust both the temperature and the pressure of the shower. A plus was also the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening (6:00-7:30pm) mixer with wine and beer and really nice food. On Tuesday we had bratwurst (one of my favorites) with very nice rolls, plus sauerkraut, salad and chips. And the breakfasts were great too.

The location and excellent customer service at this Marriott property compensate for the obvious need for a physical update. The lighting, finishings and linens will make you not want to return but the free, hot breakfast, friendly service, central location and happy hour meals will leave you feeling conflicted. The latter will probably win out for me in the end but somewhat reluctantly and only if the alternative properties are unavailable.

Stayed here for five nights on the first leg of vacation in May 2016. Located nearby Ronald Regan airport I used uber to get here but would be easily accessible by metro since the station is just a few minutes by walking. I had a one bedroom but the rooms seem to be on the smaller side compared to other RI's I've stayed at in the past. I checked in before noon which was a positive - after a red eye flight from Los Angeles. My unit contained a full kitchen, living room and small dining area and ... Read more

Stayed here for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom suite, room 213 to be exact. The hotel is about a 15 min Metro ride (Blue Line-Largo Town Center Line) from Regan National Airport. Easily accessible by Metro to all the sites across the Potomac River in the DC area. Hotel located in a safe area with nearby restaurants on Wilson Blvd. Great friendly service from the the staff, clean room with a comfortable bed, and a free buffet breakfast every morning helped to make a first time trip to Washington DC a me... I spent a week at this hotel, i did not think much of it when i booked it; i was expecting a long week in busy, busy DC area. To my surprise, however; when i got back to hotel in early evening, i noticed some sort of gathering in the lobby area; it turned out that the hotel actually organizes this kind of get together among the guests to encourage socialization. I came back down, met some interesting people, have a few beers and a burger "for free" yes that is right for free. It reminded me of t... Read more

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Roslyn Metro station (4 to 5 min tops). My DC work is near Foggy Bottom which is the next stop from Roslyn -- very convenient for me. This was my second stay in this hotel within 7 months and surprisingly most of the staff not only recognised me but also provided very personalised service. Especially the gentleman named, Jakir Ahmed, was an absolute treat! It is what-it-says-on-the-tin kind of a hotel but the staff are no less than seven stars *****

Just a few steps away from the metro, places to eat, grocery store, Target. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were able to get a late check out, no problem. Will definitely stay here on our next trip.

This hotel is only five minutes from the Metro station and is so convenient! The staff were helpful and friendly. The ladies serving breakfast seemed genuinely happy to be there and help the customers with whatever they needed. A member of the housekeeping staff brought us an extra blanket and made extra sure we didn't need anything else before he left. The breakfasts were very good and the food and beverages in the evenings were wonderful amenities! My only critique is that the rooms at th... Read more

I have been staying at this properly since 2003, and every time I stay here, I just feel more homely then before. This is perhaps the best property and location in Washington. I particularly want to thank and appreciate Mr. Jakir for his care and thoughtfulness when he arranged for me alternate food as I could not eat the pork sausages during served during the happy hour. He made this exception and honestly, I was not expecting this extra mile at all. When I mentioned this outstanding service ... Read more

We stayed here for a weekend trip to DC. Easy check in, quick walk to the metro and shops/restaurants in walking distance. We had a room on a higher floor and were in a corner suite. Room was good with no issues throughout our day. Staff is friendly and breakfast was good with no complaints there either. Would recommend without any concerns.

I work for the American Embassy in Egypt. My name is Ashraf Zaki. I asked the desk to print some maps for me go to a very important destination. No one seems able to help me except for Carl Santos. Carl went above and beyond to print maps and suggest directions and mode of transportation to take to save me money. Excellent customer service I always expect from a Marriott staff. Thanks again carl

A large group of family and friends recently stayed here while we were in town for my husband's burial at Arlington National Cemetery. Hotel staff worked with getting immediate family early check-in so we could make it to a special wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown. They were very helpful to all the group and we all really appreciate their kindness during our difficult time

I have stayed here many times for business and the staff has always been great. Immediate attention to any issues and great service. Keeps me coming back here. Back here for a leisure weekend and can't get better than a less than five minute walk to the Metro. Great area with nice restaurants as well.

Spent a week at this absolutely amazing and beautiful place and got the best hotel experience ever. The service was just perfect and made me always feel like I was coming back home after a hard day of work. It's peaceful, beautiful and everything was always beyond expectations. I really enjoyed the stay and I will surely go back there during my next visit to DC.

The size of our suite was really good offering a bedroom and a living room (with kitchenette) separated by a door. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very accomodating when we asked to take our food to go. The location of the hotel is very conveniently located next to Rosslyn metro station, from where you can go to many places. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity as well. Our only problem was how smelly our room was, which the management responded to by saying... Read more

I've stayed in this Residence Inn twice now and it's been great. Both times, I stayed for several weeks and was very happy. The location is excellent. It's close to the Rosslyn Metro stop for easy access to most of the DMV. There's a Safeway and a Trader Joe's nearby for grocery shopping if you're there long enough to not want to eat out all the time. The suites are great. The bathroom is well set up. This is the place I come to when I need to do meetings in D.C. and Virginia. The location makes it so easy to get everywhere - including the airport, the mall, shopping, good food. I love being able to get on a metro in 2 minutes, or walk 10 minutes to Georgetown. (Not to mention a hike around Roosevelt island!) The staff is welcoming. The breakfast adequate. Rooms are clean and comfortable with kitchen and spacious bathroom. Plus there are free evening meals 3 times a week.

Our stay at the hotel was pretty decent. The rooms were awesome. The breakfast was good. Staff kept up on area with busy check out on Sunday. My only comment would be when we first walked in there was no "welcome wow". This was the first Marriott where I walked in and there was no water in the lobby, no tea, no cookies, no anything. That was odd to me. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean. The rooms exceeded my expectations as well. Will stay again.

I had to drive to this location and it is a little hard to find, but they do have parking right next door ($18 per night.) The good news is, once you park, you are a 5 minute walk to the Metro to go anywhere. Or, if you just want to hang around the neighborhood, there is a lot of places to eat and shop. Room was great. I LOVED how they put in their desk (more like a work surface.) Lots of room to spread out with your computer and work related materials. I had a small Queen room, although com... Read more

We stayed here in August 2016. It is close to the Rosslyn Metro station. There is a Target, Starbucks, and District Taco (Delicious!) right across the street. The rooms are nicely laid out and quite spacious, given the location. The kitchenettes make long extended stays much more enjoyable. While the breakfast buffet isn't anything special, they definitely have all the basics--cereal, toast, yogurt, hot cereal, waffles, eggs, etc. Only complaint is that the fitness center leaves a LOT to be desired--just a few machines, and some dumbbells--no mats or anything. Otherwise, good place. I'll stay here again.

Hotel is convenient to Metro and has a variety of breakfast items. Rooms are smaller than a lot of other Residence Inns I have stayed at, and they do not have any king beds which was a drawback. Also had to connect to the internet through the cable, which would not reach very well to the couch but would be good if you were at the desk as you enter the room. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and in the master bedroom the headboard of the bed is against the wall that connects with the elevator shaft. Holy cow is it loud and annoying. It sounds like the metro is going through the room every 10 minutes. Apparently all the 2 bedrooms are like this.
