My son and I stayed here for one night as we looked at nearby colleges. The price was reasonable so we tried it out. The receptionist was very friendly which was nice and the place is near grocery stores, restaurants and a CVS so that was good but you get what you pay for. It looked like they cut many corners when decorating which isn't a bad thing but it makes you wonder where else they cut corners. Beyond that though I was grateful to find a reasonable and safe hotel near Georgetown and ot... Read more

Pleasant place to stay. Spacious and clean room with coffee making facility, microwave and fridge. Friendly staff, coffee available all day long, free wifi, good parking. Breakfast simple, but ok. The only reservation is about windows, which canā??t be opened.

Checked in here for my daughter's graduation. My usual hotel (closer to her school) was charging an arm and a leg due to the event. This is my wife's (who is picky) second time and my first. Front desk is small, simple and clean. The front desk lady was very helpful and friendly. I did not see a business area. Just a multi function copier/printer nearby. In a small adjacent cubicle you could help yourself to coffee and tea; had plastic utensils and small plates for use. In here is a red pho... Read more

Decent basic hotel. Clean. Staff, especially Greg, on the night shift very competent and friendly. Stayed 2 nights for DC graduation. Only downside is cigarette smoke at one end of hotel. Breakfast - packaged processed muffins and danish. Beds comfortable.

Okay, so, this hotel would be just fine for 1-2 people who like a queen size bed. But for larger people with a toddler it was very squished. I booked with an online booking site so I didn't know details when I booked. I didn't know: there is no elevator, there is no pool, there is no laundry, there is no space for a roll-away and they don't have them anyway! Ahh. So, for some travelers they will find this hotel just fine, but for larger parties or larger people or kids this is probably not ... Read more

In this case: unfortunately yes... The matress is quite soft, there is hardly anything you can call breakfast (no breakfast room & veeeery small choice of food - see pics). The rooms size is ok and it looks like they don't clean it regularily. The next metro station is 2 miles away but a bus station to the metro is on the other side of the hotel. All in all, our first and last stay in this hotel...not recommandable!

We stayed there for only one night, but the check in was fast and easy, the lady at the front desk was very nice, helped me with the wifi since I couldn't log in at first, the wifi is a little slow, but not too bad. The room was nice and clean, but a little on the smaller size, we didn't mind since we were only there to sleep, but if you have a little one, this might be tricky, not sure if they have bigger rooms. The breakfast is where they lack, it was almost non-existing. They only had coffee... Read more

I made a reservation at this motel based on the fact that it was inexpensive, convenient to where I needed to be (Arlington National Cemetary for a family funeral), and offered smoking rooms, and I had no expectations beyond those needs. However, I was extremely pleased, and I would highly recommend this motel. This is an older motel, and - because of the age of the place, the fact that smoking is permitted in some rooms, and the low price - I did not expect it to be so nice! (Even though I smok... Read reviews, and seemed good, We were there 2 nights, the smell of smoke & pot walking down hall to our room was gross, plus the free-breeze to try to hide it. Was kinda dingy, and the halls were hot & humid. Door to room had to be forced open cause of the carpet. The breakfast was a JOKE... I had something go missing something go missing from a bag left in room, have yet to hear back from manager that I sent a mail to as complaint... First / Last time visiting here...

This hotel was great for a base for Washington DC. We got the metro into DC and its a 10 minute walk from the hotel so its not very close as you might expect. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was as you would expect. Coffee, muffin fruit etc. The staff were very helpful and handy. There are some great food options near the metro which we went to on a few evenings. If in DC again and the hotel prices are expensive as normal, I would book this hotel again.

We spent two days here on a college orientation trip. The room was small but clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had a very comfortable queen size bed, microwave and refrigerator. It was on the second floor and I saw no signs of an elevator. I left a tip for the maid after the first night, we came back in the evening and it was still there. The worst part of the experience was breakfast. It consisted of sugary prepackaged muffins and danish-like products. The wifi was spotty. I had trouble connec... Read more

The staff was amazing! They were super friendly and knowledgeable about all the different/popular activities in DC and also how best to use the public transit system. Unfortunately our room and the hotel itself was less than desirable. When you walk in, all you smell is must and mold. It was so bad in our room that we woke up with headaches and nausea every morning but once we were outside for 20 mins, we would feel fine. We went to the store and bought some plug in Febreeze things and aerosol s... Read more

I have stayed at this property several times, usually no more than 1-3 days at a time. cant vouch for an extended stay but definitely a safe clean environment for a great price. Abt 20 mins out from Southeast, DC. Conveniently located near the highway

We stayed here few months back. If you have personal conveyance in Washington, this is very good hotel near Arlington Cemetery. Rooms were small but nothing to complain of. We liked our stay in this hotel.

Close to the action and reasonably priced. Staff was excellent. Room was perfect for the night. Breakfast was quick and easy. I'd recommend it to everyone, but it does fill up so plan ahead. The hotels across the river are 2-3 times more expensive.

Filthy, unfriendly, bare bones English speaking, rude, unknowledgable, disgusting place. Don't waste your money. They just ripped me off for $110. If you like staying in a nasty craphole, you'll love the Inns of Virginia- Arlington!

I stayed for 6 nights and have absolutely no complaints. Clean, inexpensive, comfy beds, coffee in the lobby, lots of channels to choose from, microwave and fridge in the room, clean carpeting, friendly and helpful staff, bus stop right out front, shopping nearby. If the room was a little bigger, I'd move in and quit apartment shopping. They do an EXCELLENT job!!

I found this place after searching for hotels in the DC area or within a few miles outside of DC. Inns of Virginia are located 3 miles outside of DC and it is very easy to get around (there is a bus stop right on the outside that takes you to the nearest metro train stop). Arlington is a cute little town and it is very quiet. I stayed here for 2 days and 2 nights and I was in the area for a medical school interview at George Washington. I was very impressed with this hotel and with the staff. Ev... Read more

The Inn was a good value with comfortable bed , free parking , free wifi and continental breakfast. Location allowed for easy access to Arlington. Restaurants and shops were nearby. Only criticism was that we could hear the TV on next door . The air conditioner provided some white noise to block the sound .

Very calm and pretty neighborhood, felt pretty safe. Plenty of parking space. Rooms were comfortable and big enough. Breakfast was a little disappointing, do not rely on that. Very few options and not the best quality on what it is offered. There is a Dunkin Donuts less than two blocks away. But the worst was the noise during the night. We could hear every person who walked in the corridor. We were pretty close to the stairs, maybe further down would have been better. Do not forget your earplug... Read more
