The location is perfect and the romms are great. Staff is quite courteous and they offer free parking too. I have also stayed in Hyatt nearby but its expensive than his one. . There are many restaurants , coffee shops and departmental stores at stones throwaway distance. Very close to pentagon

Yes, the hotel is in a convenient location 1 1/2 blocks from the Metro station, though there aren't many restaurants within walking distance in that part of town. Both free parking and a buffet breakfast are included in the price and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable, but beyond that, we discovered many small annoyances during our recent two night stay. There are no refrigerators or complimentary coffee/tea as provided in many hotels. The thermosat was broken, the smoke detecto... Read more

Stayed here for Georgetown graduation weekend - and while the hotel was only a 15 minute walk over the bridge to "M" street in Georgetown (love that!), it was dreary, disorganized and dysfunctional. The bathroom was a throwback to the 1980's - old, rickety sliding shower door and no space at all for a normal size body to shower! The rooftop restaurant offers beautiful views of the Potomac, but smells fishy and feels like a 70's throwback. We wanted a bottle of water at midnight, but there is n... Read more

We had a great stay here despite some flaws. Just stay here for decent rate and convenience. The staff was very patient with us in selecting a room. We wanted a view and a two room suite with two double beds because family. We weren't able to get everything we wanted, so settled on lack a view and lower floor for two beds and extra room with pullout. This is a good location for Georgetown and is only a block from the Rosslyn Metro stop. We were also just a couple blocks away from our rental car drop off and a Safeway grocery store. The Iwo Jima memorial is 1/2 mile away. This hotel has free parking and we appreciated that with our rental car. The lobby is small, but mezzanine level has more space with conference rooms, small food shop, and workout room. The staff was very helpful. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn-Rosslyn in the past and made reservations to stay there in May. However in reading some of the Trip Advisor comments I almost cancelled the reservation and went somewhere else. I am very glad I chose to stay at this property though...I just couldn't see anything bad about this property. If i was stretching to find something wrong I might say the bathrooms are a little small; although we had no issue and they were stocked and very clean.! If your looking for a $5... Read more

Although I only stayed one night I was generally impressed. The food in the rooftop lounge was top notch, the bar tender was funny and helpful. My suite was very comfortable and the bed was simply wonderful. Bathroom was small but exceptionally clean. Only negative was that my Spire Elite status was not reflected in the reservations data base. However, the front desk staff compenstated with some vouchers for food, etc. The hotel is in a great location.

The key reason I chose this location is that I could drive down from NYC, and park here for free... then commute around Washington DC on public transport. The location to the metro was very close, from which you can go all around Washington DC (about 15-20mins to the national mall area) ... and if you walk across the bridge over the river... you're in the shopping area. One day we took the car out and drove out to the airport (45mins?) where the larger smithsonian air & space museum is. Serv... Read more

This hotel is very close to the Metro station which was very convenient. It took us only a short time to get to various attractions in D.C. There were also plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance of the hotel. Service is good, the restaurant overlooking the Potomac is incredible that includes the food and drink. The only drawback is the rooms. Spacious but very stinky and musty smelling. I was wondering why I was upgraded to a suite but it's probably because it smelled so foul. Fortunately I only slept their and was gone from 7am until 11 pm. Several blocks to Metro. Not bad at all unless it's hot or rainy. The construction nearby during the night sucked.

We booked here because it was close to the Metro. It turned out to be one of the best valued places around (according to a frequent business traveler). The beds were comfortable and they even gave us an assortment of soft and firm pillows. It was nice that all rooms had balconies. There was a nice pool and work out room. The parking garage is included so that saves too since parking is very expensive in DC. I would highly recommend Holiday Inn Rosslyn.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip. The location is nice, close to the metro and river. The rooms are large but a bit dated. The bed was clean and comfortable and the a/c works well. The bathroom is small, but adequate, and has an actual sliding door on the tub--old school style! This hotel is five-star for its location, its views from higher floors, its balconies and free parking on-site. But the bathrooms are unusually compact and the décor is a little dated. The IT and phone system are out-of-date. We spent July1 -July4 here. I picked this hotel after having stayed here in 2001 with my family. It is still quite close to the Metro which makes it easy to get to DC but the rooms need an update, especially the bathrooms. Also we had requested our 2 rooms be able to interconnect but even though we made this request when we booked the rooms in February the request was not honored.

This hotel is a little dated on the outside but very good inside, nothing fancy but the price is good and the convenience makes it worth while. They have free parking and wifi and easy walking distance to Metro. It is in a business district but there is a Safeway nearby with good food choices also.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to Washington and easily accessible to Georgetown, then this is the place. We arrived late morning and the staff was very accommodating by allowing us to check in early. Our room was located next to the elevator, but we barely heard any sounds through the night. Sitting out on the balcony provided a great view of the airplanes throughout the day and night. With the balcony doors closed you cannot hear the airplanes, but they were very cool to ... Read more

I was so excited to find this hotel just outside the main attractions (3-4 miles to the Washington monument and smithsonian). It is extremely reasonably priced, very comfortable and has a very convenient (free) parking garage. We were on the 13th floor and had an outstanding view of the Potomac and DC. We ate one meal in the hotel restaurant which is a particularly good deal if you have kids because they eat free, but the food was also very good. We had lunch there, and the seafood-themed buffet... In town on vacation, we chose this hotel based on reviews and the proximity to the Metro line which was about a block away. This hotel offers free parking which was a plus. The room was a little small and is showing some wear and tear. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. The rate was a more than I would have liked to spend, but being so close to D.C., it's probably one of the least expensive, though still expensive for us.
