This is one of the best Hilton gardens I've stayed at because it is in a great location with tons of restaurants, a library, a movie and a live theater and a grocery store within very short walking distance, and because of the excellent shuttle service to airport and nearby metro . The shuttle service alone makes this a great Value.

By far the best thing about this hotel is the people who run it. They are courteous, friendly, helpful, and on the ball. The hotel is clean and in a great neighborhood with some nice eateries nearby. It is also near the Enterprise Rent-A-Car so if you are picking up a car in the DC area and heading out of town, this is a perfect location. The rooms are clean and new, although for some reason they just seemed a little sparse. My shower was very low pressure so I had to allow extra time. The... Read more

We were treated excellently. Friendly and professional staff. Would stay there again in a minute! My fiancé was welcomed to our beautiful room with a fruit and wine basket and relaxed after her arrival. The surrounding town is so clean and charming and filled with wonderful restaurants and a nearby store. We thoroughly loved our experience. Would recommend this place to anyone and would book it again in a hot minute!

Great location in Shirlington....just across the Potomac from D.C. Restaurants on the same block and grocery store across the street. Very clean and spacious rooms. Only issue would be that the parking garage is about a half block away. Not a problem unless you are handicapped or if it is raining cats and dogs outside, as it was during my stay at the hotel. Speaking of dogs....I also wish they would allow dogs travelling with owners. I'd gladly pay an extra $50 to have my dog, who is a the... Read more

The room was as you would expect in a Hilton. Would give that 5 stars. The ground floor was designed poorly. A portion of the floor should have been made available for a portico for parking to unload and checking in. As it is there are 3 small spaces on the street (parallel parking) with signage designating them a loading zone. When I arrived there were 2 small cars and the hotel van parked there. The hotel is located about 20 mins from the metro station at Pentagon city. The shuttle is comprised of one six to eight person van which run once and hour. So, you must make reservations if you need a certain time. The pick up time can be any where from 30 mins to and hour, and if you are traveling with a family you may find that you will have to split up. Super clean hotel with nice spacious rooms. Small issue is the rooms are so big, the television is difficult to see in the rooms. Bottom line....they need bigger TVs. Otherwise, good choice in a great area. Lots of restaurant choices.

I paid over $400 a night and the television signal only worked part of the time. The staff was not able to fix it nor did they offer to reduce my bill. The room and motel were very clean and located in a nice area with an exercise trail nearby. The bar specials were very reasonable ($5.00 for a hamburger & fries).

We just spent two days here in a 1st class hotel. Arrived here on a bus tour from Canada. Immediately welcomed. Key cards already in front lobby. Immediate entry to our beautiful room. Location was perfect to go to Arlington National Cemetary and to enjoy Washington. Downtown area is beautiful with lot's of restaurants and shopping area. Breakfasts were excellent. Nice hotel in a convenient location - price varies wildly depending on date. Nice breakfast Parking costs $15 and for that (no valet) you have to go to a garage across the street and hope you don't get mugged at night since the garage is empty.

This hotel was a great place to "come home to" for the three nights we were touring Washington, DC. Self parking is available in a covered lot across the street at $15 per night. Not sure about street parking. It is located in a community with lots of restaurants, a theater, and a 24-hour grocery right across the street! Lots of people out and about. Rates do vary greatly - price doubled the last night we were there. It is very conveniently located - easy and fast to DC, the Pentagon, and Arling... Read more

Thought the cost for our third night of our stay was way to costly. Would look else where next time. Hotel was clean and is in a nice area. Could use more channels on the tv. Used the fitness area and it was okay. One of the treadmills didn't work but for the most part the facility was fine.

I stayed on the third floor in a corner room. It did not have 2 sets of windows, like other reviews said would be there, but it was still nice. The hotel is surrounded by a bunch of nice restaurants, a supermarket, and even a brewery. I could have spent the whole weekend right there, but had plans in DC. Getting to DC was a breeze. The hotel has a shuttle, but I had rented a car. I was in DC in less than 15 minutes. If you have a car, just be sure to park on the 4th floor in the garage ac... Read more

We stayed at this hotel end of August before the labor day weekend for our road trip. Stayed here for 2 nights and had a King size bed. The hotel lobby is clean and well maintained. The dinning area is quite large and has a nice outdoor/patio area which is great to spend a day maybe reading a book under the best weather for the season. We were visiting the Washington monuments and other areas so this hotel is conveniently located if you intend to drive. However, if you would like to take the m... Read more

Traveling 3,000 miles from home makes one tired. Sitting with 200 business associates in all-day meetings REALLY makes one crave solitude. The room was large, the bed was large with many pillows and a down bed spread. The mattress was adjustable! The TV was adequate size for viewing from the bed, but not from the side chair (not complaining, though.) Blackout drapes. I heard not one peep of noise in the hall or through walls. We were in town for the Marine Corps Marathon. We thought we'd booked rooms in the facility off Courthouse Rd. in Arlington. We were surprised to find ourselves in the Shirlington Village location with no Metro stop close by. This looked to be a problem as getting to the start of the race on foot was our plan. The hotel shuttle ran as expected and got us close. It then picked me back up with a phone call. Furthermore, when one of the runners in our party 'broke down' during the race and en... Read more

The hotel was ideally located for many restaurants. The staff was awesome, special thanks to Nadeen, Musa, Tigt and Zewde. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. My only complaint was the temperature of the hot water in the shower. If I have the knob turned all the way to "hot" and I am not lowering it or jumping away from the stream of water, then it is not hot! It was at best lukewarm! Other than the water issue, it was a very nice stay and I would return.

The location of the hotel is great. Lots of restaurants and a supermarket directly across the street. The temperature and water pressure from the shower is awful. It never got better during our two nights staying here. The water is closer to cold than luke warm. Our stay overall was just okay. Best location that we've had in Arlington, but the shower experience was pretty dissapointing.

The hotel itself is fine - big, clean rooms and well appointed for this price range. It was convenient for my purposes, and very close to DC as well as amenities and other things to do nearby. Parking is an issue. The hotel does not have its own parking - it is in a shared municipal lot about a block away.
