My family stayed at The Hilton Arlington for a graduation weekend in mid-May. We were very impressed with the service from the time we checked in to the minute we left. Very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were clean and quiet - big plus! The location was convenient for us, and although we didn't use the Metro this trip, the hotel is right at the Ballston Metro stop. Great breakfast too!

The management of this hotel, Ray Green, sets it apart from others. The hotel is first class, as most Hilton hotels are, but what really makes the difference is this GM who does everything from bussing tables to organizing staff and events. His personal touch is felt by his staff and the guests. I'm going to go out of my way to stay here because of the excellent staff and service. I recommend that you do too.

It was very clean and the newly remodeled room was beautiful. The housekeeping staff was very nice and helpful, the front desk folks weren't overly friendly and seemed a bit stiff. It's a great location, literally steps to the metro and you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner and never have to step outside. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This is our go to hotel when visiting DC. The property has been recently updated and the rooms we stayed in looked brand new. The hotel sits on the orange/silver Metro lines and is connected the Ballston Common Mall. The real draw for me is the attentive service we receive from the entire staff every time we stay here. You can tell the entire staff takes pride in what they do. You wont find a better value in the area.

The hotel was very clean and accommodating to our group of over 100 people. The only drawback was the elevators. There is a lack of stairs leading up to the hotel room floors from the lobby and mezzanine level. This causes extensive back ups when a large group of folks are around.

This is generally a business hotel, as it is outside DC but only steps from the metro. People in the dining room/cafe are top notch - nice, helpful, friendly accommodating...and they recognize us since we've stayed there 10 - 15 times. Front desk people try to be efficient. Hotel is clean. Maid staff seems to try very hard and appears to be overworked. HVAC/mechanical is another story. The buffet was very excellent with an abundance of very fresh fruit. Rooms were quiet and we'll air conditioned. Would recomended to business and pleasure travelers. This hotel is well-placed near the Ballston Mall, within walking distance of restaurants, a park, etc. The building's a little older, but staff is very helpful, and they addressed my every concern quickly and politely. One caveat: the parking garage's elevators are prone to getting stuck. The hotel doesn't own them (the garage, separately managed, does), but they tried to address the problem while I was there. We stayed on the Club Level (7th floor). The room was modern and comfortable with a huge TV! We were treated to hors d'oeuvres on the mezzanine and our waiter "Joseph" was awesome! He chatted with us about current events and got us fresh food! He was on top of things! We ordered drinks, so we had a tab to pay. My husband and I loved Joseph so much that we each tipped him! He then called our room after we left to thank us! Two things I didn't really like....I tried the electronic key wit... Read more

Hotel is right above the Balls to stop on the Orange line. Walking distance to good restaurants and a mall. Parking on premise is reasonably priced for DC. Rooms are a good size, comfortable. Outside on the street can be a little noisy, but all was quiet when in the room. Great location, easy to get to downtown.

Hosted a conference here. Staff was extremely helpful and the overall service was outstanding. The food was exceptionally good, and several attendees commented on its quality. Overall, the conference was a great success. I would highly recommend using the Hilton Arlington for a small conference (under 250 attendees, I would guess).

We stayed here for 2 nights in October. It is right next to the metro stop so very easy access to sites within DC. Many restaurants are in walking distance. We stayed on the executive level and had access to the lounge for complimentary breakfast buffet and nightly appetizers and drinks. The beds are super comfortable. The only downside was no pool.

Had a great experience here, and would highly recommend it as a well run hotel in the area. Close to everything, and metro accessible, right outside the building! Made it easy to travel into DC. The staff was great, and even upgraded my stay with complimentary access to the executive suite, due to my room key card not working. Very please and well worth the $$$ to stay there. Only downside, was there was no pool, which would be great during the summer months.

This hotel was fantastic. Further, it is located right next to the Ballston-MU metro stop in Arlington, which is highly convenient for getting around all of DC. The staff were amazing - helpful and kind in every way.

This hotel was the perfect choice during our visit to Washington D.C. The Ballston Metro stop was in the same location as the hotel, as well as a Starbucks. The room was well appointed with a refrigerator, microwave and safe. The beds were very comfortable. This hotel will definitely be a repeat the next time we are in town.

Good afternoon, I am writing to inform you about out recent stay . We arrived on friday evening for a two night stay. We checked in around 9 p.m and quickly settled in for the evening as we had a long day and traveled far to get there. Around 10 we turned on the heat to knock the chill off and discovered that the heat did not work, so we called the desk for assistance. Your maintenence man arrived quickly and assessed the problem which was that it couldnt be fixed that evening and asked if... Read more

Standard is ok for the price but it's not usual Hilton standard, tired rooms and common parts, lacklustre staff, no water in the rooms, no shop in the hotel (go outside, turn right, kiosk is in the station, come on)

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Just enough size for us a family of 4. The best part was the hotel was literally right next to the Ballston Metro stop. That made it so much easier for us to go back and forth to tour around Washington D.C. with 2 kids under 3 without having to look for parking in the city. The parking deck also helped with parking in the hotel. We didn't have breakfast included in our deal but there were Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, IHOP literally within the block sur... Read more

Hotel was very clean and staff professional. Only small issue was because of flight, got to hotel early and couldn't check in, not their fault. Was told time I could check in, went back at that time and still couldn't check in. Only wish they had a better way of notifying you when room was ready. Once again not their fault for early arrival, was ready by guaranteed time.

This is my fifth visit to Arlington Hilton, rates are competitive for the area and the staff is friendly. Hotel appears to be modernizing at a steady pace and is a nice place to stay. If you find yourself in the Arlington area you may want to consider this hotel when making travel arrangements.

Very dissatisfied with this hotel. The very worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. The staff was not at all professional. The breakfast buffet was lousy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I did not feel at all welcome .

I had a wonderful stay it the Hilton Arlington. The Metro Ballston Station is located downstairs, which make it a easy commute to D.C. The 7th floor is the Hhonors floor, which includes a free breakfast buffet and managers reception in the evenings, well worth the value.

I've stayed here a few times on business trips, most recently in November 2016. It is not the best Hilton I have stayed in. It is old, and it shows. The rooms are clean and quite spacious, and the bathrooms are quite efficient. But the carpet is pretty worn, the lighting in the rooms is pretty dim, and instead of centralized AC/heat there are really noisy units near the windows that kick on and off. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I would stay here again on business, but I'd pro... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for 30+ days on business. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Any minor issues that arose were dealt with immediately. Great location next to the Metro and many local pubs and restaurants. Much quieter than staying in the District.

This hotel has best location to any and all things in Washington DC. The metro is steps away. All kinds of dining just at your feet. You can choose to stay local or jump the metro and see all of DC. We went to the National Mall and stayed local.
