We had a late night arrival and greeted by the Hampton team on where to go for a late night dinner at a local sports grill and the early morning shuttle. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The shuttle at 4:30 was quick and easy. This is a great hotel to launch a visit to DC with metro nearby. We will be back.

Issue but rectified... I got woken up after 7 AM due to hammering and drilling somewhere, it was apparently fixing the roof. I've complained and they move us over into another room. The point is, it should not have been done until 9 AM as guests are mostly on holidays and sleep is precious.

The rooms were very clean, with [frig - microwave - plenty of storage for clothing]. Everyone on the staff was also very nice and willing to help in any way. Prices were excellent. The morning continental breakfast was out of this world, everything you could think of was there for us to chow on. Also a great location for visiting all the sites with the use of the local Metro [Va. & Washington DC.].

Overall, a pleasant stay. The complimentary breakfast was the best I have experienced at any Hampton Inn property, and I have stayed at many of their locations. If you place a wake-up call, however, do so using the room phone prompts and NOT through the front desk staff, who failed my requests twice. This facility is very clean and well-appointed; I recommend staying if you're in the area and need a place to overnight.

I recently visited this establishment and the staff was very friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent. This hotel is close to Reagan Airport, Pentagon Mall and walking distance to several nice restaurants. Less than 3 miles to Washington DC and all of its history and monuments. The only negative is that the elevators are extremely slow.

I booked this hotel due to its location near the airport and metro station knowing that there was a shuttle for both. Upon arrival at the airport I called the hotel to arrange for the shuttle to find out that their shuttle wasn't currently working so they would send the shuttle from the hotel next door and be there in about 15-20 minutes. It was over 25 minutes before they arrived and then took us to the hotel. We got checked in and went to settle in our rooms. We came down awhile later and ... Read more

Convenient location to Reagan with a free shuttle and easy walking distance access to the DC metro. We stayed on the top floor and our room was quiet, clean, and had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. I would stay in this hotel again when visiting the DC area. The free breakfast buffet is typical hot hotel fair, but saved us having to buy an extra meal every day.

Chose this Hampton because of it's proximity to Reagan National. Good value although an older building. Staff was friendly. Shuttle was prompt in delivering us to the airport when needed. Missed the Hampton lap desk in the room. I always use it when we stay at a Hampton so I was sorry to see it was missing. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Have to pay for parking--$20 a night.

An incredibly friendly management and a can-do staff. We got mis-directed by our GPS, and noticed this Hampton and decided to stop for directions...and Mario got our reservation transferred (and at a better rate and with an upgrade suite!) in an instance. Mario helped make our trip much easier and memorable! Other staff gave us much better directions than were provided by Google Maps and made our trips to help our son get settled into Marymount University in Arlington much easier as well.

My friend and I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn for the first time. The Crystal City area is very nice. I felt safe standing outside of the hotel any time of day. Before we came to the DC area, I knew a shuttle from Reagan National to the hotel of our choice would be a major consideration. I spoke to Diane at Hampton Inn a couple of times, and I called a couple other hotels. I chose Hampton because of the shuttle hours. They run it about 20 hours a day, and it's on demand. I stayed here one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hallways were pretty warm though. The room was well stocked with toiletries. The vending machines only sold soda. I had bought a bottle of water, chips, and a Sprite from the little store next to the front desk for a whopping nine dollars. Enterprise was conveniently located next door. A quick drive to the Lincoln Memorial.

When I stay at a Hampton Inn, I expect an experience similar to other Hampton Inns. We needed somewhere to sleep near the airport and I wasn't looking for a ton of amenities but wanted a clean and relatively decent place to stay. This is definitely on the low end for Hampton Inn.
