The hotel is very conveniently located within a walking distance from a metro station - from there the Orange or the Silver line can take you to almost anywhere. The hotel is within walking distance from several, very convenient, restaurants. You may also have deliveries to your room - as we did : pizza, excellent. There is a refrigerator, you can keep your drinks cool and store some foods. We knew that there is no coffee maker in the room, so, we came with our small portable coffee maker . We ... Read more

I had the opportunity to go to work in Beckley West Virginia has a Choice Privilege member I chose the Econo Lodge due to the great pricing but upon getting into my room at the size and everything else I found out that this hotel was the equivalent of the Eagles Hotel California once you check in you can never check out I've been traveling on the road over 10 plus years and this hotel was the very very very worst of all from the front desk the room service to the hotels at cetera it was terrible... We have been here a couple of times. Staff is friendly, clean rooms, good breakfast, price is reasonable with free parking. Metro is about 2 blocks away . The metro stop is East Falls Church. Takes a little while to get into DC but worth the value. We will come back when we visit DC.

My husband and I stayed at this motel during our visit to Washington DC on May 12, 13, and 14. This place is a real find. It is located in a nice, walkable neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the Orange and Silver Metro lines that will take you right into the sights and museums in DC. Our room was clean and attended to daily and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable considering the setting and the convenience to the city via metro. A short walk up the hil... Read more

I stayed at this hotel last week and although it is small the location is a 9 min walk to the metro station. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was incredibly clean. I will stay here again for my next visit.

We are family of four has a good 2 nites stay at the hotel. Spacious, clean room and hearty breakfast, half boiled egg, yogurts with others were provided. We had no chance to ride Metro train but it was a walking distance to its station. The receptionist counter were friendly enough to call taxi for us.

I dislike that there was no elevator for our luggage (so pack light just in case your room is upstairs), no microwave came along with our room, and their double rooms are a little smaller compare to others I've stayed in. The WiFi sucks as well. Right off the highway, a 7/11 gas station, and the metro is in walking distance loved that about this hotel. It was clean, and the housekeeping staff were really nice. The breakfast muffins were delicious but if you're a person who like meat for breakfas... Read more

I stayed here with my daughter and this was a very nice, clean, convenient hotel. We were going to the Verizon Center and didn't want to drive into DC. There is a bike path that is a very short walk to the metro, which was so convenient. The hotel allowed us to leave our car there early in the day prior to check-in and then allowed us to leave it late the next day after check-out. Free breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend and I will be staying here again on my ne... Read more

I stayed in the hotel for almost one week with my family. The hotel environment and staff was excellent. They were friendly and always tried their level best to give us best services. The cleanliness of the rooms was also very good. The breakfast was also hearty. And above all, I was very satisfied about safety and security of my kids and family during the day when I was to attend my official matters. BEST STAY POINT!!!

We stayed here so as to be able to visit Washington and it proved very convenient as well as being great value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was an easy 5 min walk to the Metro station. The breakfast was continental and adequate and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Numerous places in immediate location for evening meals and an evening walk.

Econo lodge is like the name - econo. Everything is outdated and obsolete. The bathroom is very small and smells like bleach. The sink is outside the bathroom, practically part of the roomð??©. The beds are too small for a family with teenagers so maybe you can take this in consideration when you book your room. We were 4 so the room was too small. But the breakfast was the cherry on the top: awful is the single word describing. Very small area, some eggs, a few omelet and a few pieces of brea... Read more

Chose this place for proximity to metro station to downtown Washington but in the end took the car so did not use this option although it is really lose to public transit and is a nice stroll down suburbia to get to it. As advertised, his is no frills hotel with no pool or fitness center. It does have breakfast but that was not so well organized. Often ran out of stuff and had to ask for stuff that should be readily available as the room is small so is not difficult to see that plates are missin... Read more

It was close to the metro, which made travel to and from Washington, DC a breeze. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Our room was very clean and perfect for what you would want in a hotel. We plan to come back to Arlington very soon and we will be staying in this hotel every time we do!

We were here 4 nights and it was a good place to stay while visiting DC. the metro is about a 2 block walk on a bike path. The beds and pillows were good and the room was a nice size. I liked that the shower and sink were separate but both were small areas. Water pressure was great. Very clean, quiet, free parking, wifi and lots of plug ins. Very pleasant staff. Many restaurants near by. Normal type of hotel breakfast with pastries, cereal, toast, drinks, egg rounds. The only negative thing i w... Read more

This hotel is a great budget hotel. Breakfast in the morning is provided by the hotel - for the best selection try to get there towards the start of it because they don't restock all of the things they provide. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked very well (an important aspect when DC gets hot in the summer). The walk from the hotel to the Metro is approximately 500m down a walking/biking path and from the main tourist areas in DC the hotel is only approx. 20-25 minutes away on th... Read more

Stayed in the Hotel from May 30 to June 3, 2016. The people were friendly & helpful. This is a budget hotel. The room was clean. Tariff includes breakfast & WiFi. Breakfast was good but the choices were limited. However, internet was not available most of the time. Need to improve on this front. There are three floors: ground level, one above the ground & one below the ground. There are no elevators. So if one has heavy luggage, it becomes a little challenge. East Falls Metro station is a pleas... Read more

The room was very clean, possibly the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in. But the staff was very unfriendly and sometimes rude. The bed was ok but the pillows were awful. The hotel is within walking distance of the metro but there isn't much around the hotel. I would not stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel - a few years ago just my husband and I stayed there and all was just fine. This time we had our young grandchild with us. Everything was clean and housekeeping was exceptionally helpful. However, this time the room was crowded with the three of us. There was no where to walk for reasonably priced family dining and we had pizza and left over pizza every night since we didn't want to drive anywhere at the end of the day. The continental breakfast was min... Read more

We had the pleasure of staying at Econo Lodge Metro for a week, using it as a base to explore DC. The hotel is somewhat old, but very well kept and clean - especially for a budget hotel! A continental breakfast is included in the room price. There is a selection of bread, cereals, juice and coffe and different cakes. For a budget hotel, the breakfast is surprisingly varied and large. Only negative aspect, is that there isn't much in the neighbourhood but residential areas and car dealers. There ... Read more
