This hotel has the perfect location to any tourist spots you'd like. They offer a shuttle to different locations in the city and are extremely friendly and accommodating. Parking is extremely easy to get to and close no matter which tower you stay in. The room (we had a king size bedroom suite) was very VERY clean. There was not a single complaint from any of us about the room or the hotel overall! Definitely our new go to hotel for the DC area!

Group stay for 300+ with meetings at a number of locations in the DC area. Good rooms, meeting rooms and areas for group operations and baggage hold. Good waiting area, eating options and the lobby bar is convenient. Bar is expensive - know the location is convenient but at $8 beers and $11 drinks - it best to go elsewhere and enjoy the city. Wings cost $12. Rooms are good sized and clean. Valet is friendly and convenient - no real experience with the front desk. Very convenient to the Metro. N... Read more

This hotel is convenient if your traveling in or out of Reagan International Airport or visiting Washington D.C. It is just across the freeway from the Pentagon. The hotel is dated and needs some renovation. It is time worn since there is so much in and out traffic with businessmen as well as tourists. Parking is available on site but plan on adding $30 per day to your hotel bill. Our room had a very scenic view of the Washington DC skyline. The furnishings were typical for a business oriented h... Very nice hotel in amazing place near airport, Pentagon and not far from city center. Big parking with good security. Amazing restaurant in the top of building in circles type and big windows, floor moving slowly around so you can see beautiful Washington panorama from all possible places seating in one place and enjoying your time. Delicious food and very nice personnel! Comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. I spend beautiful time! Thank you!

Love the view from the restaurant. Rooms need updating and added amenities (microwave would be nice). Some of the rooms are somewhat noisy depending on Tower location due to ongoing construction in the area. Location is superb - within walking distance of Pentagon and Pentagon City Mall.

I've stayed here many times and the one consistency is the inconstancy in the service, but for the most part very good. Stayed just one night this past visit and it was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The check in was efficient and quick. We like to get a drink and some appetizers in the Sky Dome, a rotating bar on the top of the hotel. Great views. The drinks and food is a little pricey, but you are paying for the great view. The bar in the lobby has always been good. Breakfast ha... Read more

Once again, another good stay at this hotel. I previously reviewed the hotel earlier in 2016 and found myself here again. Location is convenient to DCA, the Pentagon and a short shuttle ride to the Metro blue line into DC. Now that it's summer, lots of middle & high school students are staying here. My suggestion... ask for a room away from where the students/group is rooming. You may get away from some noise (maybe). Enjoy your stay at the Doubletree.

Mind you we were driving since 9 am to get to DC and got there for our check in time of 4p. Noisy and "smelly"(if you know what I mean) from next door neighbors. AC noisy/ defective. I did not have a working outlet in the restroom. I called several times and it was never addressed. The toilet area was over looked. I requested a wake up call for 7:00 a.m. I was called at 6:00 AM, I fell back to sleep and overslept. When I called to complain, the woman said, " Oh! Yes we have your call down for 7:00 a.m." I told her I know. She said, Oh! then apologized and hung up. Needless to say I was livid. On a positive note, I ordered a salad to dine in my room. The room was great except no microwave. We had leftovers from dinner and no way to heat them for breakfast. Bed wasn't so high as in many hotels today---better for seniors with some mobility issues. We had been in Maryland for the week on business, and since our flight left at 6:00 am on Saturday, we decided to stay closer to the airport the evening prior to leaving. Big mistake. First of all, the price for parking is an absolute rip off at $30 per night. When we stepped off the elevator to go to our rooms, we were greeted by a BLAST of heat! Have stayed here many times over the past 20 years, and they always seem to be trying to improve what is already a nice hotel. It is a massive property, with two towers and a load of features. They offer shuttle service to the airport and local metro stops, including one at Pentagon City Mall. A big parking garage is on property, but weekend travelers can often find street parking for a lot less. Highly recommended.

I found every person, from check in to restaurant, to sky dome bar, to check out were outstanding. Excellent service. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room had a nice view of the Pentagon, Washington Monument, and a glimpse of the Capitol and Library of Congress. The hotel is a pleasant short stroll from the Pentagon City metro stop. The nearby Whole Foods helped us to eat without going to a restaurant for every meal (and if you have a family, you know that can be extremely expensive on vacation). I really felt comfortable and was sorry to leave.

We have stayed at this hotel three times and love it. This is without a doubt one of the friendliest and happiest Hilton hotels we have ever stayed in. You can tell the staff feels appreciated by their superiors and that translates to the way they treat their customers. The views from the Sky Dome restaurant are beautiful.

Airport shuttle didn't run early enough for our 0600 take-off, staff couldn't have cared less; we intended to take an uber anyway, so no harm done. Of note - uber pick-up is tricky at this location; address isn't quite exact for GPSes, and the entrance is a little hidden, so the driver had a very difficult time finding us. The room we had over looked a demolition site, the decor was tired and a bit grotty. The floor we stayed on stank of fried food. Staff were unhelpful and the whole stay was a bit dismal. The location was good, right by the metro station and easy access back into DC and the Fashion city shopping mall. Would be ok for 1 night stay if it was work related not a relaxing stay at all!

We chatted with check-in folks, the concierge, cleaners, a building engineer and autostart..both in the cafe and the revolving restaurant. All but one cafe waiter were friendly and professional. So we visited this hotel for several nights for a convention. We were upgraded to a Presidential Suite (!) which was 750sf, separate bedroom, dining area, etc etc .... simply lovely. It had a 30 ft x 12 ft long balcony overlooking the DC monuments. Next door was a smaller suite with a balcony separated by only small iron rails about 30 inches high. More on that later. The room was fabulous, the bed comfortable, spotlessly clean ... no complaints at all. The hotel lobby was spacious and the... Read more

It was only a five minute walk to the race start and ending points.
