It is a great price for the location and they offer a shuttle hourly to and from the metro. It makes it a lot easier to get around without having to deal with the headache of driving in a big city. However, it doesn't look very nice from the outside, actually it looks quit the opposite. Inside the room, everything was extremely dated, by a good 20 years. I was literally afraid to use the microwave because it made crazy noises when I tried using it, and the room did not have a fridge in it.

I knew it was an older hotel when I booked it but it looked clean. Only stayed one night and checked out. Beds were uncomfortable, old linens, not enough light or electrical outlets. A/C was rusty and there was a smell in the room. The room was clean and the staff was wonderful. Very nice folks. The hotel needs major updates!

Recognize this was a two star motel but still didn't meet expectations. Basically clean and low priced for the area. No air conditioning, towels in bathroom hung inches from toilet seat, toilet didn't flush well and almost overflowed and often didn't have much water in it. Guest I was traveling with couldn't leave bags at the hotel during the day while room was made available. Desk person ordered transportation for a time 15 minutes later than requested. Internet rarely worked.

Got there and the room that was supposed to be accessible was not. In fact, none of the rooms are. My son had to climb out of his chair, I had to take his chair apart and reassemble it in the bathroom and he would then climb back in every time he needed to use the restroom. Rooms are old and lacking basic maintenance. The bathroom window was permanently stuck slightly ajar, the heater was broken, some of the outlets didn't work properly. The courtesy van was very old and worn out and had tro... Read more

We were provided a room key and room #. We had to call down to find out why the key didn't work that room. The rep said we had to get another key because he gave us the wrong room. We walked back down to the office from 2nd floor with our belongings to get a new key. Once in the room the door didn't lock shut, we had to use the security lock to ensure safety. I called management when I left and advised them the door was wide open, that to go check it out immediately in the event anyone else got ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel because it il located right across the street from my son's apartment. The room was fine, smallish but clean. Room amenities were basic (no fridge or microwave). Hotel amenities were non-existent (no breakfast, gym, pool). Crappy coffee in the lobby. But the location was perfect for me and there's a wonderful bakery half a block away (and a Burger King next door) So, for me, it was a good value.

As we arrieved a big dead insect said hello to us in the Lobby entrance area. Althought the Manager behind the desk saw that we were disgust the insect was still there after two nights. The whole impression of this Motel is like this insect at the entrance. We really thought about it to book somewhere else after we arrived and just blow the Money in the wind what we paid. What is good, the shutle bus to the Metro Station operate almost every hour. (Except 1:00 pm and 2:00pm).

One of the dirty places I've ever stay, even the blanket felt tacky. I made the mistake of walking to the bathroom without slippers one night, ugh!!! Both the rug and the bathroom floor were dirty. The room smelled, as did the lobby. I tried to open the front window to get some fresh but no luck. Fortunately, the bathroom window opened -- and I slept like that every night.. I am surprised that the Days Inn would associate itself with anything so run down. Also, English must have been a second... Read more

This was one week business trip to VA, hotel was located close to Crystal City I needed to get to every morning. I have asked hotel for fridge/microwave in the room when booking online, and this was done. Room with 2 double beds was quite spacious with all necessary furniture. Very bad and dirty hotel, the owners/managers always trying to rip people off. This hotel is in need of renovation. The room had wallpaper falling off the walls. Exposed wires and peeling paint were noticeable, along with very old furniture. The experience started bad and went down hill until check-out. The breakfast was marginal, which was better than expected after staying in the room. We were committed to stay at this hotel due to friends booking this for us. Wyndham needs to shut this place down.

I was attending a memorial service at Arlington National Cemetery and this hotel was the perfect fit. It is a short taxi ride to the main gate at Fort Meyer. The room rates are fantastic for Wash DC and even though they are a little dated it is clean and the service is just fine. Shuttle to nearby Metro on the hour. Definitely would stay here again.

The hotel was very convenient to where I had to go each day. The hotel itself is in need of a major facelift and updating in general. I found the rooms to be clean, beds are comfortable. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing. I have stayed at other Days Inns and enjoyed the breakfasts. This one I went once and that was it. We had booked a room for 2 for three nights and all of the pictures they had online loomed very nice until we arrived at the hotel. The pool that was advertised could at most hold two adults and 2 children and all the photos online had to have been at least 15 years or more older, each time you opened the door to the room the smell of old mold and mildew hits you and mouse droppings on the stairs were very gross and the breakfast that was suplied was nothing more than oateal, cereal, toast, or s... Mixed emotions. Old property that has not been updated in years. Mold on the ceiling of the bathroom in 202, along side of the cable line that is tacked to the ceiling... Kind of odd I thought. Good location if you have a car and need to park. they have hourly shuttle to the metro station. a couple restaurants across the street. but the property needs a lot of help

I have been returning to this location for years now. It is within walking distance to the Courthouse metro stop and has several spots to eat nearby. I'm a big fan of the free parking which is becoming less common in the DC area. The only downside is the lack of laundry facilities on site, but there are a few good laundromats within 3 miles.

The Days Inn in Washington, DC was excellent. Very accommodating, clean, fresh towels were brought up later in the day and entrance was safe. The room was extremely small. Walls are very thin and you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next door... even if your neighbors are breathing! 2 person room... 1 towel, and it was left on the floor. No washcloths. Cheap for the area... so you get what you pay for I guess. Several restaurants in walking distance which is a plus.
