This hotel has no walking distance sites such as restaurants, metro, ... They do provide shuttle service to these. There is no easy fast food or deli here. My room was too cold. I had to call twice to get it fixed. However, the conference has been cold in all the rooms and the lobby or central areas. My shower soap shelf is not only damaged but also dirty with hair that was there before I got to the room. Their elevators are not very fast at busy times. They need more of them or better tim... I just stayed at this property and it was an unexpected surprise. From the outside it looks a little dated but the inside is clearly well cared for, rooms are updated and the staff is just fabulous. Warm, friendly and they offer this super cool Digital Key service that makes it possible to go straight to your room after online check in via your app. Great if you are arriving during a busy period of time. I will make a point to stay again after this happy accident!

This was our second visit to this hotel. You can see in our first review that they fell short with the pet-friendly portion of the stay, but it was still good overall. We traveled for my sister's graduation in DC and met with lots of family (4 rooms total). The hotel is right off of 395 so we could be into DC in about 15 minutes. A couple family members took the shuttle from the airport and said it was quick and easy. We also took the shuttle to King Street in Old Town Alexandria where they... Read more

The restaurant (Fin & Porter) at this hotel is being mismanaged! During a recent stay, I was summarily kicked out of a portion of the dining room that the staff said was closed. There were no signs or other indications that the sunny table I selected was off-limits, and the staff member could have been more accommodating with me when she asked me to move. To top it off, when I chose to spend my money across the street, she asked if I was interested in the buffet! I guess she didn't pick up on th... Read more

I stayed at the Hilton Mark Center because it's right across the street from where I had a conference. I usually stay a Marriott locations, but this time is was more convenient to stay at the Hilton. Overall not a bad stay. The staff was pleasant, the hotel room clean, the bar well stocked. My only criticism is that the hallway didn't seem to be vacuumed for several days. I always stay here when supporting Honor Flight Austin (TX). The staff is extremely friendly not only to HFA staff, but to the volunteers, but especially to the Veterans. Bar service is beyond excellent. The evening meal that is prepared is above par for what hotels typically serve.

I‚??m not sure how this hotel could get a high star rating. The room I was given was in a back area which is ok, but to get to it from the front you had to go through a maze of elevators and unmarked hallways. There was a lot of construction going on as well. A construction worker was the one who was able to tell me how to access the building from a side door. I wanted a soda one evening and there were no vending machines anywhere in that area on either floor. I had to go outside, in the dark wi... Read more

School kids and exchange students were allowed to run (literally) screaming through the hallways at all hours. For spending $226.00 per night, I was very disappointed in the service. Did not get my wake up call the first morning even though I personally spoke with the front desk. Used toiletries in the bathroom the day I checked in -GROSS!

Great hotel, but parking is a downer. Well kept building, more of a business hotel. Great bar, great menu, great service. Rooms were clean and well put together, ask for a higher floor. For vacation stay parking is where it hits you @ $24/day!!

After a long day of traveling I was excited to stay at this hotel! Once we arrived we were told that we had to move our vehicle to unload. They then let another family park where we were. The employee was very rude. I was shocked that you had to pay for parking even as a guest! The room was clean and pretty big. The coffee maker's wire was very dangerous. Worse service EVER. Our second night, the room was not vacuumed. Guest relations sent housekeeping to our room to vacuum. On the fourth night, housekeeping never cleaned our room. When we called Guest Relations, they said they would contact housekeeping. One and a half hours later we went to the front desk. Easily walkable to Mark Center, but no access to metro. There is a shuttle to take you to King Street in Alexandria. The rooms were very nice, but the showers were designed strangely. You have to get in the shower to reach the knob to turn it on so beware. There is a convenient (but expensive) store downstairs and a restaurant with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast was good, but not for $15. Mark Center has better food. Airport shuttle available!

Was visiting family for a quick visit from NY. Wish we he more time to visit and relax at hotel. The pool looked nice. Had indoor and outdoor parts to it. But we just slept and showered there. Room was clean and spacious. Like how it had a counter with mini fridge under it being a breastfeeding mom needed to pump and wash out so was nice to have counter to use as drying rack and fridge to store milk. Beds were comfy. Definitely recommend. Got a good price online.

This is listed as a 3.5 start hotel, so I'm reviewing with that in mind. 1) First off, I used, for the first time, the Hilton app to check in. That was really very nice. I took the airport shuttle from National Airport and on the way I checked in, was able to select a room (try to get one with a view toward the monuments - the NE) and go straight to my room. The app even let me open my door without a key. In that way I skipped the front desk altogether - as well as the line! 2) Hotel was quiet.... Read more

Noisy upstairs neighbors. The elevators are jerky and rattle, disconcerting when you're on the 29th floor. Breakfast is fine but a little pricey. $15 is a lot for breakfast in my opinion. The staff is helpful, generous, and friendly. Overall it was a good stay, but could use minor improvements in certain areas.

I have visited this hotel a few times and I rate it the best in the area. The service is great and the facilities are well maintained. The pool is fantastic if you have kids because it is an inside outside pool. The only problem is that outside of the summer season the pool is not opened during the day. Check in was good, nice staff person. I am a Gold member, stay often at Hilton, was Diamond for several years, now staying more at Marriott. My first room had a very strong smoking/tobacco smell. Moved to new room, where someone had used the toilet and did not flush (therefore doubtful it was cleaned) and bathroom sink drains very slow. Carpet could be cleaner. Hoping the stay gets better.

Exceptional in every way. Staff was courteous, accommodating and always ready to serve your needs. Dining room staff was even more attuned to needs of the customers. Very comfortable and spacious and easy to get to DC.

I had a very bad experience with the manager of this hotel. I got my money, jacket stolen before I checked out and they did nothing about it. The managers advice to me was to find a different hotel the next time.Very dissatisfied and disappointment about the way they treated me especially when I am at this hotel almost every year.

Very nice hotel and very accommodating. The room was very updated with nice wall paper and very clean. The only issue was that there was some type of African Church Convention going on and the children were unruly, loud and running all over the place.
