We stayed for a night. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were really helpful in providing us a map, info on the hotel shuttle, and info related to the hotel itself (breakfast etc.). If you are watching your pennies and looking for value - this is a great place to stay!

Rooms and floors could use some facelift. Bed & Pillows were not bad. A/c ran noisy but fine, micro-fridge was disconnected to maybe save energy, but ran fine when connected. Frontdesk staff was cheerful even after checking some 50 odd bus-full visitors. Breakfast was bit ordinary for a sunday morning. Location makes up for a lot of minuses. Just 15 minutes to the heart of DC.

I stay here whenever I come to this area. It is an older hotel and they are gradually updating it. I can see things that have been done each time I come. The rooms are clean but they are a bit dated. I often see minor things that need fixing but nothing major. The staff is good but I usually don't have much interaction with them except at the front desk. I find it a suitable place for staying overnight. Ironically this hotel has free WiFi, a refrigerator, and a microwave which some of the... Read more

As a national chain, I thought that I was safe booking a room. First, the hotel was understaffed and it took more than 1/2 hour to check in. Maria was quite nice - but not thorough in her information. The hotel was under construction - there were no signs indicating the location of room, and the elevator didn't work. The walls were paper thin. I would not stay at this Days Inn again - over all the property did not feel safe, and the quality was poor.

Really good value for the money you pay, comparing to many other more expensives hotels/motels in DC area. Breakfast included in the price. Rooms were fine. Close to I395 going into DC. Many restaurants, fast foods, shops around. Would stay again.

They need to close this place down until they complete the remodeling The tub was stopped up! The sink had been painted and it was peeling all off. The room was dirty. Supposed to have a microwave and refrigerator which as not in our room. Ask the desk about it and they said "we are in the process of remodeling and don't have anymore right now" The staff was not very friendly or helpful. Said we could move to another hotel! The breakfast room was dirty so didn't even try to eat there. I wo... Read more

You get what you pay for. Close to grocery store, resturants, dollar tree â?º and DC. Breakfast was convenient. Rooms could have been a little cleaner though. Remote was filthy. Rooms are outdated. Overall I would stay again because I'm a budget traveler.

The hotel is old and needs updating - particularly the elevator system (3 story hotel). Rooms were clean and well served. Beds were comfortable. A/C OK - too cold in bed closest to wall unit, not cold enough in bed furthest away. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Our company had a crew working for three weeks and the first week of reservations was just fine. Then the second and third week it was chaos to get them to understand we needed rooms with microwave and fridge. Then to have to book through a call center and turn around and fax it all to the hotel itself and hope they kept up with the paperwork.

My family and I are very disappointed on the care this hotel gave to the rooms. First they gave us a smoker room, which we called to have us change and couldn't because they were booked. Then there was some stains on the carpet. ..who knows if it was blood. The bathroom was disgusting to the point that I didn't even take a shower. We didn't feel comfortable enough to go into the covers so we slept on top of he bed with our dirty cloths on top of the pillows. We just couldn't wait for the next mor... Read more

My parents and I stayed here four nights recently after I had to scramble to find available and inexpensive accommodation near DC as the AirBnb house I had booked fell through less than a week before our trip. I'd have to say the only redeeming feature is the shuttle bus to and from the local Metro station, and if you stay there be sure to know the times off by heart because if you miss it it's $10 cab ride. The only other positive was that it is close to Arlington National Cemetery and the Pen... Read more

Came in for a one day business meeting in DC right in the middle of competing festivals and special events which took up all the reasonable hotels in the area. I should have known something was wrong when this was the only place I could get. After a long travel experience, I was looking forward to at least 4 hours of peaceful rest....NOT it was my noisey at all. But imagine walking into a room feeling as if you've been transported back to the 90's with smells that appear to have come from thos... Read more

I was completely disappointed with my stay here. The rooms were dirty. I found bugs crawling on the floor my second night there. I called management and never received a phone call back regarding the bugs. I actually cancelled my remaining nights there because of the bugs and filth. I have traveled the world and have stayed in countless hotels. This by far was the worst one I have ever stayed at. Please seriously reconsider your plans to stay here.

I called down to front desk you let them know my TV wasn't working. Mind you our room was in the back on the top floor. I was informed that I would have to come back down to get a new key so I can get another room. So I asked her why do I have to come all the way back down to get a new room. Then she stated she can have her supervisor bring me a new room key at 11pm. when he got in. I never heard from the front desk or supervisor at all. Well the staff are very nice and the hotel was very reasonable... however I have severe bed bug bits and I'm now trying to see what I can do to get some sort of refund. I told the front desk about it and they did offer me another room... but nobody bothered to call me or even the manager did not follow up on this problem. Seems nobody cares! Well maybe when I contact the health board they will take notice. Shame of the management at this hotel! Sean CT

it was the worst hotel stay ever in my life. it was so run down, dirty, bad neighborhood, and room smelled like smoke. I rented two rooms adjacent because I have twin 1 yr. olds. One of the rooms smelled so bad of smoke. I let front desk know and all they did was spray air freshener. w We ended up All 6 of us sleeping in one room. We had to rent another hotel room for the health of my infants. NEVER again here.

I first stayed at this hotel two years ago. The accommodations, people and location are all excellent. The staff is very warm, friendly and helpful with whatever problem you may have. I got an early check-in as a room was available and it was no charge. I really appreciated the shuttle service to and from the metro station as my point of interest was Washington DC so my mode of transport was the train. The room was clean and very comfortable except for a pipe leaking in the shower. I solved that problem by closing the door to prevent hearing the dripping. Broken air conditioner that had to be swapped out. No remote for the television, so we finally had to go to the front desk after calling and no one brought us one. Constantly running toilet that the maintenance "fixed" by draining all the water from the tank so you could not flush. I had to lift the tank lid to refill it. Very rude and poor customer service from the person who does the food and the front desk personnel. I will never stay there again!

From poor TV, fridge not there/then not working, mice in the room. There were a hundred Chinese people in there with are area that seats- 20. No water, no juice, nothing but expired yogurt and oatmeal.
