This is a great hotel near a great little town, and an easy launch point for both sides of the river including into the Dartmouth/Hanover area. Staff is always very friendly and one of the more affordable hotels in the area. Highly recommended!

I always love Hampton Inn for the comfortable beds and wonderful pillows. The room was a little small, but it was quiet and clean. We didn't have time to visit the pool or work out room, and we never even turned on the TV because we were there for business. I it is not a great area for walking outside. The continental breakfast was generous and good quality. I'm always happy when they have oatmeal!

Good hotel, love the Hampton Inn but this one needs an update. Staff very helpful and the usual Hampton Inn breakfast. A bit of odor in room and hallway, not up to the usual Hampton Inn standard. Would stay again if smelled better

Room was typical of all other Hampton Inns we've used, but this one looked to be an older Hampton, and badly in need of some updating in the HVAC units in the room. Ours sounded like we had a bus running in our room and did not properly cool the room enough to use a blanket on the bed. Tub faucet switch for tub/shower water selection was so tight we had to almost wrench the spout off the pipe to move it to direct water to shower head.

Overall it was a good experience. It's a convenient location and provides all the necessities you need to sleep over. If you're looking to relax in area I would not recommend it, but it's great for 1-2 nights. They have great customer service, some of the friendliest people I've met in a long time.

Check in was about the slowest and least polite that I have ever experienced. Front desk person was definitely not a "people" person. No apology after assigning me a room with the wrong bed type, and disappearing from the front desk for several minutes. Room air conditioner was louder than a diesel locomotive, ear plugs were necessary for trying to sleep.

This hotel is on route 89 which is a scenic drive between Montreal Canada and Massachusetts. The location is great for a stay over, near good restaurants and activities. The pool is inside and they keep it at a comfortable temperature. The complimentary breakfast is very well done with fresh fruit and varied other foods providing a full breakfast.

Be aware that the beds are only doubles not queens, if you are planning to share a bed and need a bigger one. We were quite cramped. There is no microwave or mini fridge in the room which would have been appreciated. Otherwise the experience was average.

I stayed at this hotel while in the area to visit a family member at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. I was able to get a good rate for being a Hilton Honors Member as well as additional discount associated with the hospital. It is conveniently located off I-91 and I-89.

I love Hilton hotels, and this is no exception, except in one respect. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were pleasant. The only complaint I had was that the air conditioner was not working properly. We were out of the room all day, and when we returned at bedtime, the room had not cooled at all, despite the thermostat being set at 70. I reported it to the front desk, who promptly called maintenance. Within minutes, he was there to fix it. Long story short, he sa... Read more

I am a HHonors Diamond member. On average I stay in Hilton properties 3 times per week. This hotel ranks as being one of the worst. The rooms are in need of serious and extensive updating. The AC was terrible. I know it is Vermont, and AC's are not a big deal. But It is when the weather was 92 degrees with high humidity as it was the day I stayed. The humidity in the room was almost unbearable. I stayed there on a Monday, by Friday my wife noticed I had a rash. It turned out to be ring ... Read more

We stayed over in White River Junction on the way home from Mount Washington. The staff is not nearly as friendly or helpful as other Hilton properties. The place is located among three or four other hotels. Not sure why so many in this town, which does not live up to the pleasant sounding name. Air conditioning did not work well enough to cool room below 71. Bathroom door makes loud noise when opened and closed from rubbing on floor, which is not good for others sleeping. Hampton Inn is our preferred hotel chain because it generally offers a pleasant stay at a reasonable price. However, we were a bit reluctant to book this property because several reviewers have complained about poor control of the room A/C system. No other acceptable options were available at the time, so we decided to take a chance on this property. At check in I requested a room with a working A/C because of what I had read on Trip Advisor. Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting family that was at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, NH. Hotel is close and easily reached from the hospital. The linens and towels were sub par. Disappointed to have double beds instead of queen size. Furniture was cheap and dated. There were lots of other hotels around, so we probably could have done better with more research. Breakfast was the same mediocre fare that Hampton does everywhere.

Excellent hotel and well-maintained with caring staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable well appointed beds. Clean. Cookies available at night. Also thoughtful. We stayed with a baby, so they put us on first floor next to workout room -- presumably on purpose so baby wouldn't wake anybody in a neighboring room. That was so thoughtful all around, so we didn't have to worry about disturbing others. This kind of attention to detail is what makes a great hotel -- chain or otherwise.

Disregard for benefits that should be offered. No newspapers available and no attempt to help, in fact given a runaround of places to look. Typical Hampton and this one very clean, but this lack of attention especially when not overly busy would force me to look elsewhere especially when several other options right across and down the street. Disappointed as a customer that spends probably over 250 nights/year at Hiltons and was only expecting the basics, nit any special treatment.
