We have stayed at this hotel many times. The property is clean and comfortable and centrally located in Rutland. The complimentary breakfast is nice and the variety of food available has increased over the years. I have a pet peeve, the hotel practically doubles its prices during special events such as graduation weekend for local schools. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth particularly since we stay there so often.

We arrived very late in the evening around 10:30 PM and the desk manager was not only right there, but was interesting and informative (ask her about the moose!). We found our room to be very clean and tidy and perfectly comfortable. The WiFi was good. Each room door had a picture of a different animal or thing and we surmised that it was so little children could easily identify which room they were in. No issues whatsoever and the breakfast in the morning was all fresh and had many options t... Read more

We stayed here because there wasn't any room closer to the tournament in Middlebury that weekend. I knew what to expect with Hampton inn and was not disappointed. The breakfast was loaded with options for my picky family and indoor pool was small but enough for 10 year old. No hot tub for momma though

We stay routinely in Hampton Inns, and this is a good one. As always, the beds and breakfasts are very good. When housekeeping made a mistake, they fixed it immediately and offered a partial credit. The test of a good place is sometimes how they respond to issues. This one passed.

I really like this Hampton Inn located in Rutland, VT. It's so well kept and the staff is always friendly when you check in. The breakfast area is so meticulously clean and the people who work there are polite and courteous. I also like how the hotel is walking distance from Taco Bell, the local market (Hannaford) and 99 Restaurant (kind of like an Applebee's type restaurant). It's an all around great place to stay while you're in Rutland.

I asked about a good place to take photos and the concierge took her time and gave me a very thoughtful answer. The room was spotless and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel is also near a bowling alley and a Friendly's which helped make the trip awesome. It was overall a great trip and I would definitely stay there again!

Nice hotel- view of parking lot was a bit ironic since I asked if we would be overlooking the mountains! Didn't see staff too much, but clean and well kept. Good breakfast variety. I gave three stars due to the pending charges on my cards right now- I've been charged over $176 but was quoted 140 with tax total. I will update when it resolves!

Rutland is not exactly Paris, but itâ??s centrally-located and itâ??s populous enough that you can actually find a place to eat after 8 pm. There arenâ??t really any luxury chains in Rutland, so I gave this hotel a shot, figuring it would at least be comfortable in a generic, midrange way. Wow, was I wrong.
