We stayed again at the Hampton Inn and Suites and we're thrilled with the renovations they had done since we were there in 2015. The hotel room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered hot as well as cold items and the coffee, tea, snacks are available daily. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was easy to find and there is a restaurant/bar attached. We will stay there agin when we are in the area.

When traveling we generally will stay at a Hampton Inn. Rarely have we been disappointed, however, this property certainly did not meet expectations!! Although some renovations have been made it was mostly old, beat up and dirty. There are many places to stay in the Burlington area - this is not one of them!!

We always stay at this hotel when visiting Burlington. It is always clean and cheery. The staff is wonderful. The breakfast is very good and the ladies who serve it are particularly nice. The pool facilities are great and there is plenty of free parking. The location is close to the highway, so it is easy to find.

Good value hotel in Colchester. Pillows need replacing. Everything else was good. Good location if you have a car and want to avoid more expensive hotels in Burlington. Breakfast was a typical complimentary US breakfast ... just ok ... but good enough to get you on the road without having to stop somewhere for breakfast.

While we have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, our last stay did not meet the standards of previous visits. Check-in was very slow. This is the first time our room was on the "basement" level, where the pool and fitness center are. I think it might be the level where people with pets are housed, though we did not have a pet. We encountered several dogs, not all well trained by their owners. We heard kids running up and down the corridor at 1:00 am. Since there were several college grad... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting attraction around the Burlington area. It's Five Stars all the way! The room clerks are efficient and attentive. Check-in was a breeze. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We paid a bit extra and got a suite. It was well worth it. The room included all the necessary amenities and then some. It was also very quiet. The breakfast was very good, more than adequate. We'd definitely stay there again.

If you can stay away and teach the check in staff some basic facts 1. If you book a king and end up with two doubles, tell the client the rate change. Don't make them ask. 2. If you are asked for a walk in shower due to mobility issues, make sure you tell the client you only have rooms with tubs. 3. Don't block disabled parking unnecessarily 4. Don't look and act annoyed if your client is asking questions .. That's your damn job STAY AWAY

Had a great stay. In town for UVM orientation. Clean comfy(as is standard with Hampton's) room. Only complaint was it was a bit warm in my room. The room was facing west in the unseasonably hot afternoon 90+. So it took all night for the room to get from 73 to 72. Perfect hotel in the perfect location. The girls at the desk where very accommodating and pleasant. Look forward to coming back in August.

I had inadvertently forgotten to complete my reservation online, so while I thought I had one, it turned out that I didn't. After a near panic at the front desk, the desk agent (whose name I don't know but she has dark hair, dark rimmed glasses and some arm tattoos), helped me right out. The place looked like it was filling up fast, but she got me a very nice room at a reasonable rate. Had I not been married I probably would have proposed to her on the spot! The breakfast was decent, with enough variety to satisfy most people, including us. Nice mellow atmosphere at breakfast too. I believe our title says it all. We would never consider staying at this hotel, again. The room assigned to us was filthy. This is one of the biggest Hampton Inn I have been in. We arrived to fresh cookies and milk. They seem to be very popular as they disappeared real quick. The pool was large and the smell of chlorine was high but the pool was full of kids so it was understandable. Breakfast was standard Hampton but well speed out so no need to line up for anything. Overpriced for what you get. This would be a decent value at $150-160, but to spend $100+ more is just not worth it. Room was clean and comfortable, but in no way high end. Breakfast was below average, even for economy free-breakfast hotels. Plasticized eggs and cardboard-like waffles, liquid oatmeal and extremely low end pastries. Worst I have seen at a Hampton Inn. Might have ignored it all, but for the premium price for a room. There has to be better values for a night or two in Burlington.

Stayed here serval times, always a pleasure at check in, always. CLean comfortable rooms and of course the Hampton Inn breakfast which is unlimited and naturally "green mountain " coffee, the best. If driving its very easy on and off interstate. All in all, great hotel by Hilton, great staff as well

My husband and I stayed in room 428 and the only complaint I have was that there was soap residue in the bath tub. It was kind of gross. My sister and brother-in-law were down in 405 and said the room smelled so clean and was well put together. Whoever did ours seemed to be in a big hurry. Another thing, the lobbey was so clean and even smelled inviting. The first place you see is the lobbey when you check-in. It should always look and smell good. The pool area was real warm and a little bland.... Read more

This is a friendly and welcoming hotel. The staff are accommodating and nice. The guests are overall friendly. At 8 P.M, the staff bake fresh cookies and the cool thing about this is the guests comes down stairs to eat the fresh cookies and socialized with over guest. The room is clean and comfortable. Across the street from the hotel is a gas station and store and a bank. Down the street is Cosco, sports bar and bowling alley. In addition, The Water Front is minutes away.

This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are extremely clean. The breakfast is good and the cookies they put out during the evening are delicious! There is a restaurant next door, the Lighthouse. It is a minute walk from the hotel and the food was good. We wold stay at this hotel again.

My wife and I stayed here for my brothers wedding. The whole event took place at the hotel, and it was great! The food was awesome, and venue was more than adequate for the 100+ people at the wedding. The Gazebo was pretty, and the fall colors emphasized the natural beauty of the place. The rooms were nice, and clean. Our fridge was a bit loud, but since we didn't need it we unplugged it. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a nice getaway in Vermont.

Nice layout. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good but typical Hampton Inn basic breakfast.Cookies don't come out until 8:30 in the evening so we just skipped them since we were tired after a long drive and wanted to get comfortable. There is another restaurant The City Sports Grill a very short walk out the back of the hotel. They even offer a discount for guests staying at the hotel.

An ok stay, no real complaint, just not quite a sharp as I'm used to for a Hilton/Hampton Inn stay. They were busy and I take that in to account. Hotel a bit dated. Check in was not warm or friendly, just routine. No thanks for being Hilton Honors Member. They were overwhelmed at breakfast and did not have adequate seating to hold a full hotel. Not bad stay at all, just nothing special.

Appreciated the dog policy and highly kind Hampton team. Would re commend the hotel for either leisure or business. Work out facility could use some new running machines but all-in-all it was a literal no worries stay.

We stay in lots of Hilton branded hotels being Diamond Hilton Honors members. This is the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed extremely comfortable. It is the perfect place to stay if you are in Burlington and a great place to stay if you are flying in or out with airport transportation on 15 and 45 minutes after the hour beginning at 4:15 am. Highly recommend !

i recently went up to Vermont to see the fall colors and had a wonderful stay at this Hampton Inn. The staff were so courteous and helpful, the rooms were very clean and VERY quiet. Having recently moved to NYC from the mountains, I needed a place to get away to from the city and this hotel DEFINITELY provided that. Especially wonderful and helpful was the digital check-in. I was able to pick a specific room on a specific floor...LOVE that feature!! Thanks Hampton Inn!!

The Hampton Inn in Burlington, Vermont is a lovely property. The lobby is large and features a lot of seating areas on either side of the double fireplace. The breakfast area was nice and the food that was served was good. There must have been some sort of confusion on the part of the desk because our room was not cleaned during our stay even though we asked when and if it would be cleaned. It was not. We were given fresh towels only,

Granddaughter had job interview, so we got a couple days away to take her. Picked this hotel due to location and brand - was not disappointed! Welcoming, knowledgeable staff; clean, inviting lobby; clean, comfortable room; large, clean bathroom. Many choices for breakfast and the evening cookies and milk filled the lobby with the fresh-baked aroma; what a nice touch. Saw large gazebo in courtyard proving outdoor seating. I recently stayed here for three nights. My first impression on opening the door to my room was to note how attractively the room was furnished - nicely decorated and laid out, taking advantage of space in a creative way to provide closet space without crowding. The lobby had a two-sided fireplace with comfortable chairs and lamps if you were inclined to sit there. Another nice feature was a good-sized sitting area with comfortable chairs on the 4th floor landing where my room. It was a spac... Read more

Welcoming - almost "lodge-like". Complete with a double sided fireplace in the entrance. Cookies, milk, coffee and hot chocolate in the evening couldn't have been better as the weather was quite cold on October 24 & 25 and it began to snow on October 26. The room was adequate but I must say that the bathroom sink is very, very small. Other than that the room and service was outstanding. Thank you so much!

We wanted to be close to Burlington & usually choose Hampton Inns. This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Fitness room has treadmills, bikes, elliptical bikes & weights. It has a salt water pool instead of chlorine. Would stay here again when in the area.

I'll start by saying that I am picky about my hotels! I have five criteria for a great hotel. Here are my thoughts about this Hampton Inn. 1) Quiet - fairly quiet hotel. No highway noise which was a PLUS! 2) Heater & A/C - this one was VERY quiet! Hurray! 3) Light - shades did a great job of keeping it dark while sleeping. 4) Breakfast - nice assortment of breakfast items. 5) Bed - this was the downfall - the bed was very soft! Overall, we had a great stay. A plus was that we could keep our do... Read more

This place was good for our overnight stay. It's only a 10 minute drive to downtown, there is free parking, free breakfast with lots of room to sit and lots of food options. The room was decent size and it was nice and quiet. Probably the only downside was we didn't have a great view and we were in the area leaf peeping. Not a real big deal. Would definitely stay here again.

So I was visiting town for business and tend to lean towards this level hotels. I am sure glad I stayed here! First, it is a big hotel. Second, the lobby is on the 3rd floor, which is the same level as the front, the 2nd floor is downstairs and is level with the parking out back. This was a very nice hotel. It was large, clean, modern and had just the friendliest staff! It is in a great location, right off the highway. The room I stayed in even had the window that could open a little! I love... I could not beleive what we paid for our room for one night but someone else made the arrangements. Got a twin room when we needed a king. The hotel could not do anything because they were full. Our floor was sticky and we cleaned it with a towel. After returning from dinner in town we tried the tv and it was not working. The hotel had a serviceman and he was able to fix it. Nice quiet location easy off I89 but on weekends it's a slow drive to drive to downtown Burlington. Hotel is set on a hill so a 3rd fl room might be ground level. 2nd 4th and 5th seem best. Rather large Hampton, small indoor pool, some rooms have a westerly views. Small towels but really very quiet rooms if you have the top floor. Good use of breakfast area but no bacon when I was there. If you are going for the bike trail the parking in Colchester is free.

This a great hotel with a convenient location, and excellent service. Located close to UVM hospital, University of Vermont, and next to Costco. We were happy with this location as we stopped over to Costco. In any event, the beds are outstanding and everything in the room says "comfortable and cozy". The free breakfast buffet the next day had fantastic coffee, fresh fruit, oatmeal, waffles, toast, bagels, eggs and sausage, making this Hampton Inn a value as well as a sweet place to stay.

Very convenient and great location. Very clean and comfortable place. Staff at front desk is very cooperative. With a good restaurant just beside, almost on the premises, can't ask any better. Huge area for breakfast in the morning. Few rooms with two queen beds would be a good asset. Great place to go, no matter what. Will definitely go back.
