My family stayed at the Double Tree for one night. We were visiting Burlington with our 13 month old. The staff was was very nice and professional, rooms very clean and the overall experience very pleasant. The hotel is well placed for amenities around (starbucks, trader joe's other malls) and a short drive away from church street and the waterfront. I would stay here again.

Very pleasant, professional staff and immaculate rooms. Housekeepers are superb. Very good hotel restaurant and many other restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as University Mall. I have stayed here every few months for decades, both as a pilot and while visiting family, I've seen many positive changes over the years. Highly recommend the hotel.

I had a business meeting and decided to stay overnight since I had to be in Vermont so early. Of course, there is the warm chocolate chip cookie when you check in but the most memorable thing about the stay was the bed. I think it was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. No complaints...great service, great room and amenities. There is an on-site restaurant...the food is good but I thought pretty pricey. We arrived late and there was a hotel shuttle which picked us up in a very timely manner. The lobby was nice, but the carpet on the stairs leading to the second floor was very worn. Our room was adequate with a lovely blooming lilac right out the window. However, there was a fan that ran 24 hours, and the front desk said there was no way to stop it. Temperature was hard to adjust. Staff was nice and location of the hotel was good. We ate one dinner in the restaurant and our waitress was wo... Read more

Both the staff and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We were there with another couple for a wedding in Burlington, and the hotel is really only a chip shot from the city. We were upgraded to a suite, which was quite commodious, and had all the comforts of home, including a full sized refrigerator, microwave and iron and ironing board. I'd book it again, and would not hesitate to recommend it!

Good staff and satisfactory restaurant did not compensate for an underwhelming experience. The hotel is showing it's age and needs new furniture and a refurbishing. Mattresses were old. The whirlpool pump appears to be broken or at least poorly working.

The Double Tree Hotel was well suited for our stay while attending my 60th Cllege Reunion at St, Michael's College in Winooski Park, VT. The hotel was well appointed and clean. The staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. I'm certain that it had all the usual amenities but I did not spend enough time at the hotel to avail myself of these amenities. I booked this at the last minute for a quick trip to visit family in the area. The hotel was convenient, easy off and on the highway, but the room was not a clean as we hoped and it had a funky smell. Probably most disappointing was the comfort of the bed. Drapes in the lobby feature roses and the whole lobby itself feels like something out of Murder She Wrote. Rooms are on the small side and feature basic amenities. Breakfast was pretty solid and free if you're a Diamond guest. Staff were average in their interactions and my stay wasn't going too bad until se... Read more

Appreciated PET FRIENDLY status. Clean room - older decor and furnishings. Felt 40,000 point per night redemption was very steep for overall property experience (25,000 would have been more realistic). I have stayed at 4 star true luxury Marriott properties for 35,000 points and "ok" Spring Hill suites for 30,000 points.

This hotel was pretty okay to stay at. The gym and pool were nice as well as the restaurant for breakfast. Christian was great-- from driving the shuttle to checking in, to fixing any issues. He was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating.

We found a cockroach in our room. The refrigerator turned everything to ice regardless where the dial was set. Room 170, South Burlington, VT. I would not pay $300 regular price for this room, we had a group rate of $150 that I thought was high. Friendly and competent, helpful staff, but a cockroach!?

Nice hotel. Very convenient all areas of Burlington. Rooms could use updating, but mattress was pretty new and very comfortable and the suite was quiet. We have stayed several times and have always been pleased. Staff is very friendly.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in a two double beded room with another couple for three nights, as we were up there for a friends wedding. I tried to book a suite for the four of us but, there were none available. Although I booked the two double bed room for four adults, we were only given toiletries, towels, coffee, etc. for two adults. It was difficult for me to get these additional items from housekeeping staff due to a language barrier. After using the shower, we noticed the batht... Read more

Property was fine, but basic and a little dated/tired. Good for the budget-minded traveler, but you might want to consider the nearby Homewood Suites. We didn't go in, but it looked very nice (and much newer)

This is a dated hotel in need of an update. It has the look and feel of a nursing home and is rather depressing. The exercise room was poor. The service was friendly. There is an attached mediocre restaurant/bar.

This hotel is 5 minutes or so from the Burlington airport. From the time of pick up by the shuttle bus driver through check in and check out the experience was great and the staff was terrific. The lobby even looked a little like old world European hotel.

My husband and I and our dog stayed here for two nights in November. We got a private two room suite at the end and it was perfect for us and the dog. We had easy access to and exit and the room was large, quiet and comfortable with a full size fridge, two tvs and a microwave. The pool, hot tub and gym were great additions. Short commute to downtown and plenty of shopping in walking distance.

I met up with a couple of friends from high school here. We had a wonderful stay. We ate at dinner at the hotel in the evening. Trader Duke's has a menu with a wide variety of food. We all enjoyed our dinners. This hotel is located very close to the mall which for a group of girls Christmas shopping was super convenient. I will definitely stay here again :)

Trader Duke's Restaurant has the best lobster roll in Vermont. I was also really impressed with the made to order breakfast. I had blueberry pancakes with real Vermont maple syrup and maple cured bacon that was a highlight of the whole trip. You definitely can't get that at a Hampton Inn.

Love staying here. This is my 5th stay here and will be returning. Spotless room, employees very helpful. Beds and pillows, very inviting, for a great nights, rest. Can't say enough great things about this hotel. Love the restaurant "Trader Dukes", attached to the hotel. Saves a lot of running around looking for a place to eat.

I stayed at Double Tree because it was where our conference was. I loved the area and this hotel was close by which was nice. It was quiet and very comfortable in my room. The food was very good as well and the staff was very professional and friendly. Nothing like a hot chocolate chip cookie when you arrive.

We let the hotel know ahead of time that we were driving a good distance and would arrive very late. They called us that evening to check on us,which was great. Arrived at midnight to a warm welcome, and of course, fresh cookies! Our stay was great from beginning to end. Great location, close to everything, friendly and helpful staff, quiet, clean rooms. Would recommend it to anyone.
