I liked the room, you can make it really dark for sleeping with the window shade. Lots of plugs to power whatever you need. The only thing that was odd were the window washers dripping water into our open windows. Staff was great.

We requested a wheelchair accessible room. What we got was a handicapped accessible room. There is a difference! Room was narrow thereby hard to maneuver a wheelchair and a second person in the room. Also the doors getting into the rooms are narrow for wheelchair access.

Close to I-15, Mall and South Towns Expo Center. Price was not bad, indoor pool and hot tub was nice, clean throughout all interior halls with keycards for doors, elevator makes upper floor access easy. Beds are hard, room temp control was hard to get right, chains on window curtains are very long and could easily be an issue with children. Overall though not bad hotel

After a 12 hr drive from LA, you end up midnight to take good sleep before heading to Yellowstone. I would recommend any day to stay here. It has amazing bedding. On top of that, complimentary breakfast is like icing on cake. Best part is the courtesy of the ladies in the Kitchen. Anytime tea is another great option.

Easy in and out to the freeway. The value was ok, however a little high to what I wanted to pay. Being a senior, every dollar counts. the cost could have been more reasonable for a vacationer verses a business trip.

I like staying at Hampton Inns due to the consistent cleanliness of the hotel, typically great staff and adequate/good complimentary breakfast. This hotel was consistent except the "Jr. King" suite I upgraded to was nothing more than a double twin bead with a king bed. The Hotel was over-ran with children of guests an we were told it was due to regional sporting events. While this was probably true, we think it is due to demographics of SLC. Even so, the pool was completely unsupervised by ... Read more

Noisy room highway noise keep me up. Make sure your room does not face the interstate. The Hotel staff is very friendly, pleasant and helpful. My room was in need of an update. The location is excellent if you are doing business in Sandy or Draper. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well.

Sandy is a southern suburb of Salt Lake City and Provo. Like many Hamptons, it is not directly on the highway, which helps to avoid road noise at night. It took a little manuvering to get there, but it is easily seen from the highway. Otherwise, it has the features of all the Hampton Inns in which we've stayed, i.e. well trained staff, clean, comfortable room, breakfast with friendly staff. The.views of the mountains were great, see our pictures. Jim's Family Restaurant is steps away acro... Read more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for a business trip in June. It was a great experience. Room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable, room has air conditioning, breakfast was great, staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the shuttle service to the Trax, but found the hours very limiting as we were coming back from downtown in the late evenings, and had to use Uber to get back to the hotel. Overall a great experience, would definitely stay there again!

We had just stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Boston, and I have to say that the Hampton Inn in Sandy was a much better experience by every metric. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked with towels and amenities. And the hotel breakfast was the best we have ever had, with a waffle bar, fresh fruit, and omelets. I love this hotel and will definitely stay there next time I am in the SLC area.

If you are having trouble finding a hotel in Salt Lake City, this is the best place to stay. I came for a school competition and we opted to stay here instead of the recommended hotels in the city. That was a great choice for us. The drive to the city wasn't too long. The breakfast is okay. Not the best I've tried as there isn't much variety. I do like the free coffee/tea option found in the lobby. When we first arrived, they had fruit infused water available at the lobby, but I think when they ... Read more

The room was comfortable, clean, and nice and cool when we first walked in, (after a long, hot day). Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Lots of extras, even though I didn't get a chance to use them all. A small fridge in the room, and USB ports built into the plug outlets on the nightstand, were very useful.

For the type of hotel this is (meaning you know you aren't going to a 5 star resort type hotel), it was very clean and comfortable and served my purposes just fine. There was quite a bit of noise from other guests, but that is out of the hotels control... The family next to me had several small children all under the age of 5 so there was a lot of shrieking and crying well into the evening hours. Aside from that, I had a positive experience.

There were two issues that I have not experienced in the hundreds of other Hampton Inns I've stayed in. First, the Wi-Fi internet does not connect as normal and the problem seems to be well known by the employees. Second, the ironing board cover is very thin and completely wrinkled - so when pressing my business shirt, it was impossible to get a proper result. Maybe I'm becoming picky in my old age, but having to answer detailed and lengthily emails on my phone and starting the day in wrinkles... Read more

Took my family for a stay while attending a friends wedding and reception.. I would definitely recommend this for a visit from Gordon Ramsey Hotel Hell television show as everything that could go wrong did go wrong. From bad internet, to no hot water for showers on two days until we waited for 30 to 40 minutes, and dated furniture and beds that were hard as boards. Definitely not one of our better stays in a Hampton Inn.

I have not been here in about a year, it's not so much of any issue but the change in desk staff has left a mark able impression that I am no longer a Special guest but just a number assigned to a room.
