We chose Springhill Suites because it was close to the airport and we arrived late. The hotel was hard to find as the sign is small. I like the layout with the Suites having a separate sitting area. I also like how they have plenty of outlets for charging devices. The only problem was no outlet on the right side of the bed where I needed one for my sleep machine. The bathroom is interesting. There are two separate rooms. One with a toilet and sink and one with a shower and sink. The biggest prob... Read more

I travel for a living and stay a Marriott properties almost exclusively. When I travel to SLC, particularly for a short trip, I always stay at this SpringHill Suites. It's one of the best SpringHill properties I've encountered, with clean and bright common areas and well thought furnishings. I like SpringHill properties because of the guaranteed refrigerator and microwave and the larger TVs that you can plug external devices into (e.g., projecting from my PC). I also like the separate shower... Read more

We booked a night close to the airport as we had an early flight. We are always happy with SpringHill Suites and this was no exception. The hotel is super comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Even though it is close to the airport, we heard no noise from outside. We will definitely stay again. They offer very reasonable parking while we were gone for the week, plus a 24 hour free shuttle to the airport. On our return, we needed the shuttle to get back to our car. The Marriott shuttle driver... Read more

I stayed for two nights. I checked in everything was fine. When I went to checkout I needed to print something off. I asked the front desk person, which was a man, to help me because the computer wouldn't turn on. He assisted me and then left. Then I could not get on to the internet. When I again asked for help, which he had no one at the desk, I was told "I don't know". I asked if the internet worked and was told the same thing. I just blankly stared at him and he shrugged his shoulders. I left... Read more

Great hotel a mile from the airport......great vibe, great amenities, above average breakfast, and great rooms......indoor pool but no hot tub, workout room, and great lobby with upbeat colors, snacks, and business area.....highly recommend.

We stayed here after flying. One night stay before we drove to yellowestone. No wait checking in. We went to our room and the key card did not work. Our room was right by the elevator and ice machine. After having a bad experience with noise at a different hotel I asked them if noise would be an issue. They were happy to give me a different room to ensure the highest quality stay. The room was great. Spacious with 2 adults and 2 kids. I was also impressed with the breakfast. I am a healthy eater... As the title of this review suggests, the rooms are very nice; lots of room to move around and the bed was better than average for a good night's rest. The hotel is close to the airport, there is shuttle service, and for runners there are bike lanes on both sides of Wiley Post Way, offering a relatively safe pavement-running option. The major criticism is the lack of dining opportunities within the hotel or even nearby. The staff suggested I walk to a nearby Courtyard Marriott for lunch and I e... Read more

It looked like every other Springhill suites so you know what to expect. Front desk staff was very friendly in check-in and -out. Room (509) had a big stain on the carpet when you first walked in but otherwise was spotless. Bed was comfy which was super important to me. Rooms were not super sound proof as I often heard people talking (at a regular volume) in the hallway. Breakfast (included free) was your standard small buffet but had a descent enough options. The small gym (about 4-5 machin... Read more

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The free breakfast was very good. The free wifi worked perfectly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bathroom has a convenient split for families traveling together. Comfy beds. In the fitness center, they have at least a bike, 2 trendmills and an elliptical machine.

I stayed at this location for the young living convention because all of the hotels downtown were booked. However, this location was really nice. About 15 minute drive to downtown salt lake. Shuttle service is provided free to the airport. The morning breakfast was fairly good. This is a 24 hour location. So if you need a shuttle anytime you just need to go to the front desk at least 15 minutes early. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also reasonable price for our stay. Only do... Read more

Stayed here during a Business Trip to Toole Army Depot. Hotel accommodations were very nice and staff was super friendly. The location was ideal for us and there was many things for us to do in the local area. This Hotel chain does a great job! Definitely plan to stay here again.

First time to stay in a Spring Hill Suites and I was blown away. The room was @$100 with Marriot rewards member discount. The suites are the best designed and thought out rooms at any price. A powder room (toilet and sink), a bathroom with shower and sink, a walk in closet, a frig and microwave etc. The staff was very friendly and if back in Salt Lake we would stay there again.

Truly wished all of our hotel stays would have equaled our experience here. It was our last night before flying home from a 10 day family trip. Room was very clean, spacious, two bathrooms, with many extras. Modern, newer facility. Will definitely keep this hotel in our records and tell others of our experience. Now, we will also look for Springhill Suites in other locations.

Arrived on a delayed flight very late. Check in was very quick. Rooms are extremely clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious in the morning. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help and make sure our stay was great. The only thing was that we waited about 30 minutes for the shuttle when we were told it would only be about 10 minutes. Otherwise the stay was great!

I travel a good amount and Springhill is often my choice. This one at the SLC airport is not a bad hotel, it just seems odd. Almost like they do not care much. The room was fine, typical room. Clean and comfortable. The lobby was a mess. it was like they try to cram three lobbies worth of furniture into one. The pantry area where snacks are sold was truly pathetic. It was basically empty. maybe three worsen dinners, take out containers from Cold Stone and some beverages. It was a lot of empty sp... Read more

When I needed a hotel near Salt Lake City Airport, the Springhill Suites was a logical choice. It's close (5 minutes), and I was pleased to find excellent accomodation in the well-designed suites. Although I was traveling alone, the separate powder room and shower room make a great deal of sense. Checkin was easy, but I found the front desk staff not very good. First, when I pointed out that my reservation didn't include my Marriott Rewards number, they took my card and said they now had it ... Read more

Arrived here at around 1:15 am after a 40 hour amtrak train ride. The front desk attendant first claimed my reservation wasn't in the system (I had made it with my credit card reward website) until he made me call them and they helped him find it. Only once he found it and we'd been there for 20 minutes did he mention they were sold out of rooms! He offered to get us a room in Layton like he was being really helpful and didn't think to mention it was 30 minutes and we had to be back in downtown ... Read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my quick stay at this hotel. My primary concern was convenience and location by the airport. The hotel was close and easy to get to. I was delighted by the hotel's interior. It had a clean, modern feel with a comfortable bed and spacious suite. I did not have time for the amenities--breakfast, pool, etc--but they all looked clean and compact.

Check in didn't go so well, they didn't have a room for me when I arrived (they had my colleague's room but not mine, and they were booked together...). I understand these things happen but the front desk attendant at the time (1AM - we were arriving late from the airport and I had called in advance to let them know of this) didn't do anything to assist in finding me a room, they said I needed to call for them to relocate me. After holding on the phone for awhile I ended up sharing a ... Read more

OK place to spend the night after a late flight arrival. All staff were friendly and the free breakfast was good. For a newer hotel, the hotel is showing signs of age. Our room had a cracked sink, small stains on the floors, and the tissue box holder did not even have a box of tissues in it. Overall minor issues, but have stayed at much better SpringHill Suites.

The hotel is close to airport and is not difficult to find. We got a rental car so we have not tried the shuttle service. Check-in without problem. Rooms are of average condition but clean. Breakfast is OK. There is a small pool but we don't have time to try it out. For a room that can accommodate 5 people, their room rate is reasonable.

This convenient airport hotel has no dining room, but the Hilton Garden Inn does and it is only a short 6 minute walk from the Springhill Suites. The suite is not composed of two separate rooms, but a large room with living area. The front desk staff are helpful. We liked that we had two separate sinks and an extra pillow was available. There was no hand lotion. The tasty breakfast included well-cooked scrambled eggs.

This is the second time I have visited the metro Salt Lake City area in recent months, and both times I have chosen the SpringHill Suites Salt Lake City International Airport. This is a very nice, very clean, quiet, modern facility with great in room resources including comfy bed, bath, w/c, desktop, lighting options, TV, living room, and closet. And all at a great price. The housekeeping has been above expectations. The front desk friendly and helpful. The generic Marriott free breakfast ... Read more

Convenient to the airport, and they have a shuttle. The rooms are always nice and spacious. I love the way the toilet area is separate from the bathing area. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast was the usual. Definitely recommend staying here. Weekends are significantly less expensive.

When the plane breaks, you get put in hotels where you wouldn't necessarily stay. A short shuttle (shared by 4 properties) ride from the airport landed in a nest of hotels where this is located. All suites, but there is no bedroom door. There is a half wall/desk that separates the couch from the bed. Toilet is closeted with a corner sink, and the shower stall in in an adjacent room, also with sink. Microwave and fridge and coffee maker complete the room. It feels larger than it probably is, but... Read more

Stayed here for a quick overnight. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. They had a laundry facility which was helpful as I was between trips. Breakfast was fine - standard for this type of hotel. Rooms were a little noisy but the hvac seemed to drown out the noise enough to get some sleep.

This was my first time at a SpringHill Suites and wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised in light of the very reasonable room charges. The hotel itself is clean and is comfortable, the reception desk gave a warm welcome, breakfast (complementary) was better than some other comparable-type properties, and the room was comfortable (having a sleeping area and a living area divided by a desk that had glass shutters that could be closed for privacy if the living area was used for slee... went back and again, glad I did. Front desk service was fantastic. No issues with the room, clean and comfortable. All my requests met. As last time, had a room facing freeway to some noise from that. A decent storm passed through at night and I could hear the wind at the window. All in all, will continue to go back!
