Sometimes you want to stay in a big fancy hotel with all of the bells and whistles, and sometimes you just want to stay in a nice "smaller" hotel, with a larger room that has a kitchen, a couch, and more space. Hilton Home2Suites is my new favorite discovery, and unfortunately, you can only find it in select cities, usually in suburbia. We stayed in the one in Midvale UT, before, loved it, but wanted to stay closer to my nephews in West Valley, so we tried this one out. Same great new rooms, s... Read more

I am a Hilton loyal customer and while I could stay in downtown Salt Lake City where there are more places to grab a quick bite to eat, I stay here as much as possible. They are so incredibly professional and hospitable, they treat me like family and it is a safe, clean, and super comfortable place for business travelers. Awful, lied to, told my Son we took his 2 bed suite when he & his family arrived. And that there were no more 2 bed suites left. When in reality we book direct by phone to the Hotel. Put in 2 different rooms over 2 days. Ended up taking 1 grandchild into our room to make up for the 1 bed suite they put 5 people in. Also told our son that we paid the same for 2 bed as he did for 1. Made a mess of our "happy families" trip to the State Rugby Finals our Grandson was playing in. Would never t... Read more

Nice relaxing place for a business trip stay. Engaging staff and very clean, well organized rooms. No true kitchenette in the suite though so if you are looking to cook some evenings, only microwaves meals are doable. Pet friendly if you have them but they can be heard from other suites though as rooms are not sound insulated very well.

We have major food allergies so traveling can be difficult. I was needing to go out to Utah for business but added a few days of leisure for my family to come with and enjoy with me. We had heard from a friend who found this hotel that there was a kitchen included. Since we need to eat so strict, we decided to try it. It was wonderful. We were able to buy groceries locally and store them and cook on a cook top daily. It saved us money as well as the difficulty to find places we could eat. ... Read more

We are David Hilton honours members and have never stayed at a Home2 Suites. We were pleasantly surprised. This is a ne wee property and it was very nice. Staff was friendly and courteous. I will say their uniform makes them look rather frumpy though. Room was nice, bed comfortable. Breakfast was a continental but had the waffle maker. Not too hard to find in a quiet area. Checked in tonight to two rooms. The queen bed is actually a double/full sized bed. Definitively not a queen. The bed is dirt and lumpy as are the pillows. There are lots of stray hairs all over the bathroom and the products are dismal - ie., shampoo only and shower gel dispensaries on the wall. So basically you get what you pay for. Zero recognition of or appreciation for long-time Hilton Awards members. Oddly at 10 pm on a holiday weekend, there are several tattooed guests working out i... Read more

The pool was a hit with the kids and the hubby enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. This was our first stay at a home 2 suites and we were delighted. It's a spacious room with fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, dishwasher, pull out couch and 2 TVs. Front desk was polite and helpful. My only complaint would be breakfast... People tear through the free breakfast like hurricanes. It's not the hotels fault... They try to keep up with the messes people leave. Not a fan of the microwavable breakfast sandwiches but there were other options.
