I checked in late at night on May 15. The lady at the front desk was very nice. I went to breakfast the next morning which was great, I met the General Manager James who was a very nice guy as well. This is the best Doubletree I've stayed at..

This Doubletree by Hilton is one of the best stays I've ever experienced. The agents were friendly, the room was spacious and clean, the amenities were well presented. There was a hairdryer, ironing board, robes (on the executve level), and, of course, the delightfully fresh and warm chocolate chip cookies. I stayed on the executive level, so the morning breakfast was hot, delicious, and well presented. Thank you to the staff at this Doubletree for an excellent stay!

Stayed there for 3 nights for a training event at the hotel. Very easy, quick check in. Offered a warm cookie upon check in. Yummy :). The rooms were clean with very comfortable beds. Nice shower with good pressure. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I only had breakfast and lunch at the hotel and they were both great. At breakfast, there were a lot of different options to choose from. Every thing I had over the 3 days was tasty.

Thank you for this stay. I had an intense business experience but the ability to walk around the lake, see the lake, and eat such great food in my room kept the stress down. You rock. I also loved the location from the airport. nice and close.

The first room we stayed in had some issues (wall paper peeling) and then we had very noisy neighbors so we asked front desk if they could ask them to quite down, that lasted for a total of 5 minutes, so we asked if we could be moved into another room and we were given a room on the honors floor which was very clean and quiet. The pool was nice but needed a little bit more attention throughout the day. The grounds are well kept and the pond outside the hotel is filled with ducks and geese which ... Read more

This is an old hotel. It has been updated at some point but still shows it's age. The staff is friendly and professional. I had several meetings at the hotel and they did a nice job with the food. The workout facilities are above average for a hotel gym. The bathroom is small. I doubt I would stay here again as there are nicer hotels in Salt Lake.

The room was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was the friendliest and most helpful host I have encountered in my recent travels. The ease of access to the airport was my main reason for staying here. I was not disappointed and I would stay again.

We arrived after midnight and got to our room which was extremely hot and had several broken fixtures in the bathroom. We called the front desk and rather than move us to a new room, the staff blamed it on the cleaning staff for setting the thermostat too low. They assured us that if we raised the thermostat to 65 or 67 that the room would cool, and said they would put in a maintenance ticket for the bathroom fixtures the next day. Well, the room never did cool down. We gave up trying to sle... Read more

Following 12 days of rv-ing through CO, AZ & UT, we were welcomed with a smile & warm chocolate chip cookies. Our stay gave us a chance to recoup, re-pack & relax in comfort before an early flight home. Beautiful room, immaculate pool, good advice on transportation to restaurants (Uber) & a much appreciated airport shuttle made this stay a happy ending to a memorable vacation.

Placed in room over laundry. Floor vibrated when washer spinning and you could hear dryer. When asked to change rooms staff more worried about state of room rather than customer comfort. We sought a hotel near the airport that had a restaurant in which we could entertain friends from near Salt Lake City. This fit the bill for us. Nice free business center computer terminals. Excellent quiet resaurant (with view of their lake and the ducks and goose). Has friendly airport shuttle. Has fine Starbucks open at 530 am and a fine breakfast buffet in the restaurant (starts 6 am). QUIET room despite near airport.

This is my second stay at the Doubletree and again I am pleasantly surprised. The room I have is excellent, it overlooks a courtyard at the back, has a little balcony that I can see the lake from and is pretty quiet. There was some noise form the room upstairs as I think there were kids jumping about but they must have been in bed by 10:00 so all was quiet. I stayed here for business and am 6 months pregnant so needed a quiet place with food nearby. This hotel was perfect for me as they offer room service. Staff are very willing and helpful to assist with any problems you may encounter. On a forced overnight stay the DoubleTree was the only Hilton close to the airport. Shuttle at the airport was slow. When I rang they said 5 minutes - more like 15, and the hotel is only 5 minutes away. The staff were friendly enough. It has a small bar that serves meals, which was useful. The rooms are OK for an airport hotel and reasonably maintained. A touch on the expensive side for what you get.

Some things have to be done on purpose, and customer service is one of them. These guys do that one thing well, and they do it at every turn. The property itself has been remodeled and it's right on point. I appreciated the quiet bar with access to the full restaurant menu, perfect at the end of a long day. The location close to the airport but only a short drive from downtown is ideal for the road warriors that get in on late flights, and fly out early.

Maintenance is suffering at this location, and it is obvious from when you first enter the parking lot. The parking lot lights are crooked and face the room windows instead of the ground like they're supposed to. The elevator makes creepy noises and reeks of oil/grease.
