We travel frequently, and were visiting relatives in this beautiful city and environs .Their multi-million dollar renovation paid off with a beautiful pool, gym, lobby, and rooms. The icing on the cake, however, was the warm supportive atmosphere. Its staff went out of their way to greet, support, and resolve any problems. Its rates were affordable and included a comprehensive breakfast. I'd recommend this Hampton Inn to all.

The Santa man has very nice rooms on the inside mostly new plenty of plug-ins in a flatscreen TV. The rates are very reasonable and it's next to a lot of cool dining areas damn town. Breakfast is the standard omelettes and cereals and such with some fruit and oatmeal and the dining area is nice and new.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of all areas of the facility which we visited. The staff is very diligent about keeping everything spotless. The breakfast was excellent with hot foot "hot" and cold food "cold." The bed was comfortable. The staff was cheerful and cooperative. What else would a tired 81 year old lawyer of 53 years of practice and his wife expect from HILTON INTERNATIONAL?

This location was great because it is close to the beautiful downtown sites. The interior was very relaxing and the room was very comfortable. I enjoyed being within walking distance to many things but didn't walk anywhere because I was traveling alone. There were many people who appeared to loiter at the park across the street so I didn't feel safe walking out alonre. If I were there with my husband, I would definitely go back and do more walking instead of driving to nearby attractions.

For about $100 per night, we stayed at a clean, conveniently located Hampton Inn in downtown Salt Lake City. Included in our fees was breakfast and all day tea/coffee which was great. As well, the parking and the wifi were free. I didn't get a chance to try out the gym so i can;t comment on it. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. This Hampton Inn is in a good location, near a lot of downtown restaurants. It has recently been fully renovated, so the rooms, lobby, elevators, are all very clean and up to date. I like that there are USB and regular power outlets built in to the nightstands for easy device charging. Staff has always been friendly. I have stayed here about 5 times in the last few weeks for a work project and it works out very well.

SLC provided lots of accommodation options but we chose Hampton Inn for its great value and good reviews in TA. The room was extra spacious, luxurious, had comfortable beds, nice big bathroom with complete amenities and fast, free wifi. We did not get the chance to use the gym and indoor pools but the included full breakfast and 24 hour self-serviced coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby was a great added value, and so was the laundry & dryer in each floor which was useful after a long trip... Everything about this property makes Hampton proud. Excellent front desk staff; very helpful and full of smiles. The room was immaculate, the bed comfy. Breakfast is well done and monitored well by a very cordial hostess. On the edge of downtown with more industrial buildings nearby, but very convenient for downtown and Temple Square activity. A winner in our book!

We were disappointed that we didn't have a microwave even though we had a fridge, it's a nice amenity to have. There is a major homeless problem in this area. Hampton Inns are always clean and friendly so I always choose them when possible. So I was disappointed that the carpet just outside the bathroom was wet and the room was surprisingly small, (no closet). But we were there for only one night, so it wasn't a big deal. Probably would not stay at this particular Hampton if I was staying for more than a couple of days.

As far as Hampton Inns go this one is somewhere in the middle. The decor is updated and the place is clean. The rooms are smaller than normal. Our room didn't even have a closet but rather a curtain to cleverly hide the iron and hangars. The hotel itself is located close to what seems to be a homeless hangout. I was passing through and dropped in at the Hampton Inn. The front desk host was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and because I am a HHonors member I got an upgrade. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet for a good sleep. The wifi was free as was a fresh and tasty breakfast. It was an unexpectedly nice visit for merely dropping by. It was a very good representative for the brand.

Very clean and staff is awesome. Pool and Hot Tub was extremely clean. Free parking. Close to good restaurants and the Mormon complex The homeless/drug addicts near the hotel are a little scary but overall a good place to stay.

We booked this place because our favorite hotels were full. Not expecting a lot. I had just had eye surgery, as an outpatient, and needed bed rest. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, with a fresh fruit salad that I liked. Staff was very helpful. Rates seemed high, but we were in no position to dicker.

This hotel is 5-stars. Large Fitness Center, very nice indoor pool/hot tub, beautiful renovated rooms, clean & modern. Common areas are clean. This entire hotel presents a new appearance. It is within walking distance of Temple Square, downtown shopping, restaurants & bars (Yes, some even with a 'tavern license' so you can drink, but not eat. The only drawback of this hotel is the hundreds of homeless within 2-3 blocks. Disgusting situation! But it didn't seem to impact our stay at hotel.

What a great experience that we had in Salt Lake City. The reservation process was simple and easy. The check in process was even better. Then we get to the room and it was absolutely fantastic!!! Can't wait to go back to SLC.

Close to downtown; .5 mile walk (2 blocks) to TRAX Courthouse station then a free 10 min. ride to Temple Square or a one mile walk to the Square; 20 min.walk to library (don't miss it); close to restaurants; easy access to I-15 & 80; 45 min. drive to Antelope Island or Guardmans Pass. Downtown SLC is a homeless magnet so be aware of your surroundings.
